I usually do all my own work when it comes to repairs on the house. However, every once in awhile, something that I thought would take me 30 minutes to do, and I find myself still trying to figure it out 3 hours later. Then I know it's time to throw in the towel. Only now the jobs still not done and I've torn my house apart. That happened last night. I Googled handyman and John's business came up. They were here the next morning, whipped my project together, and even walked me through the rest that I was gonna do myself. Answered my questions and gave me great advice. Couldn't recommend then enough

Johnny and Donnie helped me with a shingle that fell. Came out in the rain to get it back up. Truly appreciate your help. Thank you so much for everything and being so understanding and personable.

Amazing work came out on an emergency call and stayed late. On top of amazing work, Johnny is very personable and an all-around awesome person! Hired a good amount of handymen and hands down one of the best!

John and Donnie were just amazing. I had two heavy pieces to hang. An oversized wall clock and a mirror art piece and they did a wonderful job. This is a review of my experience hiring John as a property manager and a handy man. The intention of this review is to warn others about my negative experience working with John.

As a note, I am an out of state investor who bought an investment property in Port Huron on September of 2022.

On September 28th 2022, I had the city inspector inspect my property where more than 30 violations were found. The inspector then gave me until December 16th to resolve all the issues.

On October 8th 2022, John spent time reviewing the “Notice of Violation” paperwork that I received from the inspector. He handwrote an itemized quote directly on that paperwork detailing the cost to resolve all the violations that I had received. The total cost of his quote was $5,020, which I paid up-front upon his request before he started the work.

On December 2nd, I visited the property and found that many violations had not been resolved. On this day, I also noticed that John was storing some of his personal belongings in one of my rental units without obtaining my consent. At this point, I relieved him of his duties as my property manager and he acknowledged, in writing, that he still had an obligation as my handyman to finish his work on the violations.

On December 16th (re-inspection day) the city inspector found that not all violations had been resolved. While the work that John did finish was completed sufficiently, there was still a total of $2,700 in unfinished work. I’ve requested a refund from John; however, that money has never been refunded to me.

As a result of the incomplete work, I have incurred fines for the continued violations on my property. I have since sent letters to John with the official details of the itemized quote he provided me, the final notices from the inspector that cite unfinished violations, and a refund request for $2,700.

We had a great experience hiring Johnny on call. He and his staff were friendly, accommodating and hard working. I called Johnny to give a quote on some work we needed performed. He quoted the part that was in his wheelhouse and then referred another contractor to do the windows, Trim and doors for both exterior levels. I liked that he didn't just say yeah i can do that and go for the money. Like i said above Johnny was accommodating changing his schedule due to weather and other contractors that were working at the same time on our property. We are happy with the work we had done and will use Johnny on call again in the future. Thanks

I wanted John to do repairs. But the guy he had to get to help him couldn't make it. I found out everyone is just so busy right now. John is very nice and we kept in contact letting each other know what was going on. I recommend you give Johnny on call a call if you need siding repairs or roof repairs done.

It started off that we had some work that needed to be done in our kitchen I called and they said that they had time the very next day which was great By the time I had gotten home they were done everything was great they cleaned up I thought that they were very personal and professional I would highly recommend them .

The owner John is a great guy with a fun sense of humor and also very professional. Has a very good team as well working along side of him...They did an Amazing Job would recommend Johnny on call to everyone and anyone I know...‍‍✌

Very reliable. Came when they said they would. Got the job done in a very reasonable time. Pleasant to do business with and did a great job.

Remodeled 2 units mid-pandemic when no one else was willing to. Did a fantastic job and still continues to. Highly recommended though if he gets too busy he won't be able to do more work for me.

Wonderful work Johnny is really professional Business. My son was playing mini sticks with his friends and they put a hole in the dry wall but I called johnny and fixed it right and fast
