Jose and his team did an amazing job on our unexpected master bathroom project (due to a leaking pipe). They installed all new tile floor, molding, dry wall, vanity, medicine cabinet, and more. They were prompt, courteous and professional. Very clean. They did an amazing job and we will be using them again for future projects!

JLL did a beautiful job fixing a large crack in our ceiling. They also took care to address any of our concerns and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with their work. We recently used Jose from JLL painting to paint our bedroom and redo our wood floor. Him and his crew were fantastic. They were prompt, professional and friendly. The room looks beautiful as does the floor. We are so pleased with his work and we highly recommend him.

I met Jose the owner about a year ago while he was doing some work at my sisters house and was impressed with the outcome so I hired him to do a complete bathroom remodel. Jose and his staff were always on time and put in full days. Jose was always onsite and was attentive to our needs. He and his staff always worked clean and left my house very acceptable at days end. JLL did all the work with exception to plumbing, his tile guy was also excellent. Overall we were very happy with the outcome. Even after the job was done Jose came back to move the towel rod and towel ring holder because we were unhappy with where we told him to put it initially. JLL is a very professional group and I would highly recommend them.

JLL did a deck refurbish and re- paint at my home about a month ago...all the loose rails and spindles were replaced...and the whole deck repainted...couldnt be happier...carpentry and painting were done with detail...the right way...and finished promptly...

Best I've found in 30 years in Rockland. JLL so professional, detailed, neat , timely. He sheetrocked and painted an old paneled wall in my living room. So pleased with the results. Jose is coming back to do some carpentry on my exterior basement entrance. And he relies on an old fashioned marbel notebook to log jobs. Loving the old school way of doing business, start to finish.

I had Juan come over to reinforce a wall where I had my big screen tv mounted. He and his colleague opened the wall to add a stud to better hold the bracket. They did a wonderful job covering up the opening. They also primed and painted the wall making it look like new. They are very neat in protecting furniture and floors.
I am very happy with the work that they did. I recommend them very highly.

Amazing. The crew was very nice, professional and went above and beyond for us. I would recommend Jose for anything and everything that needs precise, meticulous, and perfect execution! I’ve owned many homes and several investment properties. I’ve done many major renovations as well as small repairs. I can honestly say no one has ever been as reliable, fairly priced, kind, reliable, I said, that’s twice, but that is important, and meticulous! Sheet rock spackling and using a satin paint is not an easy task. That’s just one example. I wish I knew Jose for the last decade!

We hired JLL Painting to sand and paint our deck. Jose and his crew were efficient and careful to protect our patio while working. We are very pleased with the thorough and professional job.

We needed our porch raised and new footings and supports put in, our windowsills all needed repair from old leakage, some of our sheetrock needed spackling, our deck needed staining and our entire interior porch needed painting from floor to ceiling. JLL painters came to do some spackling and painting in two rooms in our house. They were very kind, professional, thorough and very, very neat. You could really tell that they made sure their work was done correctly and they cleaned up every last bit of dust left on the floor. As an added bonus, they were extremely kind and courteous. we absolutely will be using them again in the future and would highly recommend to anyone!

JLL Painting & Home Improvements is a wonderful company! They repaired and fixed my ceiling in the downstairs bathroom and it looks amazing! They also fixed a leak in the roof that led to the ceiling that no other handy man could find or fix. Both men who came to do the work were kind, hard working, friendly and got the job done! Jose and his team did a great job power washing the house and deck. They repaired and did a light sanding where needed on the deck and applied 2 coats of semi- transparent stain.

José and his team were so professional and polite. We were very impressed with their craftsmanship and communication throughout our deck project. They replaced some bad boards, built us a better staircase, added lattice, power washed, set nails & added screws where needed, sanded and stained the whole deck. It looks and feels like a whole new deck! We are very satisfied.

Jose did a great job of replacing our deck posts. He knows the local code and brought them up to the current standard. He power washed our two decks and bridge followed by an excellent staining job. As a courtesy, he even power washed our paver stones and refilled with polymer sand that we provided. I would highly recommended him.

Jose replaced an ancient tiled ceiling with a drywalled one and also painted the room. He and Daniel do very good work and are prompt and hard working. We definitely would use JLL again as he has become our "go to" business. We are glad we found him!

Jose and his crew installed new drywall in a master bedroom addition and also repaired many holes in existing drywall in other parts of our house. We recently had Jose come and repair our downstairs ceiling from a water leak in our bathroom upstairs. We also had cracks from prior leaks. He was very professional and did an amazing job!! You would never know that there was ever cracks or leaks. We will be using Jose in the near future with other jobs we have around our house.

They repaired and repainted my ceiling due to a shower leak, repainted a room, repaired and painted numerous misc spots around my home, and power washed and painted outside, and fixed one of my doors for me! He refurbished our old Cedar Deck which now looks brand new. He replaced rotted posts, added new top rail, filled dozens of holes made by carpenter bees, spent significant time sanding and prepping deck prior to staining. Our deck has never looked this good. We Love it !

Jose and his team were true professionals. We had them paint three bedrooms and one bath. They did great work, were timely, responsive and overall just really nice to work with. The owner was very eager to come down to our house and give us a quote. He wanted to come over right away. Ok, sounds good to us, we wanted the job done, so we dropped everything for him.

Any excitement that the owner Jose had, evaporated very quickly when he met me and my life partner. Apparently Jose doesn't approve of "our kind," because once he saw us, he changed his tune very quickly and became cold and downright rude. He walked through the property and took notes and then left on a very bitter note, barely talking to us

He said that he would contact us with a quote. Well, that was several months ago. He can't claim that he lost our number because he has everything written down in his little book and he knows where we live.

Fast forward to today, Jose never contacted us with a quote.

I suspect that some of the other reviews are "creative writing" because our personal experience with him was terrible.

I would tell you to think twice before getting involved with this person.

JLL Painting was great! Jose came right out for an estimate and started work the next week. He installed crown moulding in two room and painted four. Beautiful, clean work—looks great! Good painters are hard to find; I recommend JLL.
