I'm a property manager, and working with J&I Construction has honestly been one of the easiest experiences I’ve had with a contractor. They took care of everything — permits, scheduling, city inspections — which saved me a ton of time and headaches. Communication was solid throughout the entire project. I never had to chase them down for updates, and they were always clear about timelines and next steps. They showed up when they said they would and got the job done right. It’s rare to find a team that’s both professional and easy to work with, but J&I really delivered. I’ll definitely be calling them again for future projects.
These guys were great with repair refurbish seal and paint on our complex at 9501 Mayne. Beautiful thorough job.
However, on a tub install and tile patching and on two bathroom fans with new vents, the finish work and duct work were shoddy and they ghosted me, and I've had to spend another $1200 so far redoing their work and will need to schlep abandoned materials they were supposed to take or dispose of on my own. Non trivial things like bags of concrete and old heavy glass shower doors.
Definitely mixed experiences. Love the guys but the management and quality on the bathroom were nowhere near as good as the larger exterior job.
