Jesryn Construction saved the day for our business! We had a very difficult time finding a company who could install drop ceilings and they were the completed the job with amazing results! They were extremely quick to reply and came in for a quote the same day and started the job the very next day. Their employees were also so friendly and easy to work with the entire process. The ceiling looked amazing and they completed the project very quickly. We will definitely be using them for every project that we need in the future. If I could give them ten stars, I would! Julio Lopez and his team have completed several projects for me. The first was renovation of a previous workshop addition to my home. They basically gutted the 22 x 12 room, installed insulation, drywall, lighting and a gas fireplace, creating a new master bedroom. Later, they installed a deck at the rear of the home. Finally, they helped prepare the home for sale ... power washing, painting inside and out, repairing mortar on retaining walls and foundation, replacing kitchen and bathroom fixtures, roofing, and addition of exterior lighting. They cleaned and repaired mortar on woodburning fireplace and chimney. Julio and his team were flexible, addressing additional issues as they arose and responding to specific requests. They were patient in explaining each step when I asked questions and making smart recommendations to address issues. I wholeheartedly recommend Jesryn!

Julio and his team of contractor professionals at Jesryn General Construction have proven to be a great company to work with! The first time I hired them was for a major interior renovation of my personal residence in 2017, where they opened up the entire 1st floor, installed a new kitchen, reconfigured the entry way, finished the basement, added 2 new bathrooms and renovated a 3rd. That project took about 6 months. In 2022, we started a second job to completely renovate all 3 floors of a rental property, and it was a massive amount of work that included all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing (including under concrete slab drainage), structural changes, refinish the hardwood floors, a new kitchen and bathrooms, and tons of finishing work. They were able to provide a beautiful finished product in just 6 months. From the first job to the most recent, Jesryn has maintained a very good standard of quality. Julio was at the property every day, paid attention to all aspects of construction, addressed anything that came up, and worked hard to stay within the budget. I highly recommend them for any construction job, big or small.

Julio is very responsive and a great communicator. We had water damage to our ceiling and the entire process from initial call to fix was less than a week. His crew was very courteous and professional. My partner and I were able to continue working in our small condo while they did all of the work. In the end our ceiling looks better now than it did even before the damage and I would recommend Julio and his team to anyone I know.

Unreliable. Made contact about a $20k+ job. Spent time communicating issue and sending pics. Was told we would schedule a visit this past week, sent several text messages when I received no communication and received no reply to any of them. If a contractor doesn't return your calls at the beginning, does not bode well should you engage in a job and something happens...they just ghost you.

Sigh - Read the response. Why can’t folks take responsibility for their poor behavior and not lie to cover their faults? Never once did they say they didn’t repair other contractor issues. Actually the opposite was stated to include offering to visit the following week. At no point was this job hinging on the court case because I haven’t even filed yet. I told him I was suing the contractor but he didn’t mention that I’m selling the home in a year and I wanted this repaired before then. He also doesn’t tell you that he called me right after I posted my review to which I stated I didn’t have time to be bothered. He called back and left a nasty message on my voicemail then I blocked his number. Again, beware.

Julio was extremely responsive and very professional. He was very informative and got the work done quicker than we thought. His crew was very pleasant and are hard workers.
We were a commercial job as well and he handled it great!
We will be using him again in the future.

Julio and team were phenomenal to work with! Very professional, responsive, and the quality of work is outstanding. They enclosed part of my front porch with a beautifully constructed wall that featured tounge-in-groove wood panels stained to match my existing porch ceiling and matching crown/shoe molding (trim). Julio cares as much about the aesthetics of the work as he does its solid construction. He also helped me work through the DC building permit process, which is a pain but we got through it together in the end :) Julio answered many questions for me and gave helpful advice about materials and maintenance of the porch.

Very professional. Quality of work is excellent, I was very satisfied with his work. Mr. Lopez was on time. Job was completed as stated. He was caring and reasonable priced. He kept me updated on the project. I had 3 bedrooms painted, deck repairs and work completed in my attic. He takes pride in his work. I would recommend Jesryn General to family and friends. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen. New floor, new layout, new cabinets, new lighting, it was a top to bottom renovation and they got it all done in about six weeks. I appreciated the polite and professional crew, each with their own areas of expertise, great attention to detail and pride in their work. We have been using the kitchen now for a couple of weeks and have found everything looking and working perfectly. I always heard how difficult renovations can be but Jesryn Construction made this one relatively easy. Thank you!!

5 stars all around. If I could give them more stars, I would. We had water damage to our walls and flooring on 2 levels of our home and hired Jesryn General Construction from a list of 3 other contractors to do the repair work. Including refinishing our stairs and replacing the stair post. We are very satisfied with the outcomes. As soon as I met with Julio, I knew his company would be the right one for the job. Julio and his team are very professional and knowledgeable. Not to mention responsive, caring, and personable. Additionally, we needed the work completed in 2 weeks as we were expecting visitors. The Jesryn crew made sure that happened by working longer hours than their typical work days and without cutting corners. They made sure we were satisfied with the progress of the work along the way, and made modifications to satisfy our needs. We're really happy with the results and have received many compliments on our new flooring and stairs and rail post. Thanks again Julio and team!

We had a fantastic experience with Julio and the Jesryn crew! They immediately came when we had water damage and removed affected areas to prevent molding. They were able to come and install our new flooring the day after it came in. They gave suggestions for materials and flooring ideas and picked everything up for us. They installed in one day- including molding- and did an incredible job. The team was masked and followed Covid protocols. Very happy to have worked with them and thrilled with our results!!

Julio Lopez and his company, Jesryn, and his team of workers all did excellent work when remodeling my kitchen, Very high-quality work, technical expertise in plumbing, electrical, heat/AC, and general construction all to very high professional standards.

I learned of Julio Lopez around 15 years ago when a colleague praised his work. I have been a periodic customer since then, and Julio has always helped me to realize my home improvement ideas, often exceeding my expectations. He and his workers have been honest, meticulous, mindful and of code and safety requirements, and committed to customer service. They have arrived on time, treated my property as they would their own, and cleaned the work site at the end of each day. On the few occasions when I have tried others, perhaps because they were cheaper, I have regretted it and subsequently called Julio. As with any contractor, it is important to clearly communicate your vision and budget up front, but after that Julio and crew can work with you to make it happen. I highly recommend this company.
