One year ago I had them come and put in two new gravel driveways. They did an excellent job they were prompt and the price was very reasonable. I use them again just a few days ago having them come back and spray both new driveways for weeds. Again, they did it when we were going to be gone and worked it into their schedule. I would highly recommend them.

We had a phenomenal experience with Jake’s Property Services. Our work included new driveway construction, tree clearing, and new culvert installation. Timely and professional communication from initial quote to project completion. Even with larger than expected amounts of rain, Jake and his team did a great job making sure to not tear up the property. We would definitely utilize Jake again for future projects.

The company has no real interest in customer satisfaction and doesn't accept blame - character flaw - and is not forthcoming with everything that may be needed in their estimates. We hired this company to to put in a new driveway and when we expressed concerns for the quality of the work after completion like serious ruts and dirt clods in the area surrounding the driveway Jake responded with another quote to do the finish work. I guess I thought that was included in the original estimate and probably would have paid for it had it been brought up before the work was completed and I had to complain about it. He made it seem like it was something I should have asked for versus something he should have mentioned. Please get everything in writing to include any finish work that may be needed. Second they cut the fiber access line for my Internet access I use for working from home. I made sure it was clearly marked by OUPS and the gentleman doing the work for Jake admitted he made a mistake to myself and the cable folks that came to do the restoration. I was told by the cable company I would have to pay to have the piece of newly reconstructed fiber buried and reached out to Jake. Rather than admit the mistake and try to assist with a solution he wanted to argue as to who was at fault after his guy had already admitted he was wrong - he tried to blame OUPS. Please be wary of folks that won't accept blame and make excuses if something doesn't go as planned.

Great experience from start to finish! I had an area bush hogged and was very satisfied with the results. I highly recommend Jake’s and will definitely call them for any future needs.

I do not normally write reviews but felt a need to share my recent experience with Jake’s Property Services. I recently ordered a cord of firewood on-line and they delivered it the next morning. The firewood was a nice mix of hardwood, well-seasoned, clean, and all cut to the correct length. I was impressed with the quality and thought it was fairly priced.
After stacking the wood, I found there was not a full cord and emailed Jakes Property Services to let them know. They did not question or argue but immediately made things right by bringing out the balance of the wood the next morning, explained there had been a miscount when loading and apologized.
I’ve been buying firewood for years and find it an unexpected pleasure to deal with a company that that is so honest and ethical, particularly in the firewood business. I will be a continuing customer for years to come and have been recommending them to my friends. They are one of those rare companies that exceed your expectations and I heartily recommend them.

I am putting in a new fence around my vegetable garden but was not looking forward to digging 21 post holes (I am 72). I contracted with Jake's and they responded quickly and were out doing the job in less than a week. Justin and his helper knocked out all 21 in a couple hours. Now my work begins! Many thanks to Jake's for a job well done.

Jake did a great job on a large driveway project. We had several changes throughout the process and Jake was always accommodating and easy to communicate with. The project was done ahead of time and on budget. The final product was exactly what we were wanting. We would use Jake again for other projects and would recommend him to anyone needing his services.

Called about having a cord of wood delivered when our propane ran out in the middle of the winter storm this season. They returned my call the next morning and delivered the wood a couple hours later. Service was quick and the delivery came without any problems.

I recently purchased a cord of firewood from Jake's and the communication was fantastic, the load was definitely a full chord, and I specified I only wanted oak. It is the best cut/split load of oak I have ever received. I run a smoker with it and am very particular about my firewood.

Jake’s team did an excellent job on our driveway! It needed grating, and a fresh layer of limestone and gravel. Work was done professionally, timely and it looks great! Price was reasonable as well! Would definitely recommend Jakes Property Services to others!

Great communication and service! I submitted a request for an estimate for limestone delivery on a friday afternoon. Jakes responded and i acceted the estmate on monday, and delivery was made tuesday morning.

We had a two branches of outside underground drain line (about 200') for our basement sump and French drain by our patio installed. Everything went well and as expected except I was expecting a non-fabric membrane wrap around the French drain gravel. However, the French drain was an add-on project and for the additional price, it probably should have been expected. I should have asked about that up front.

Jake's came to my resident for 7 tree stump removals, installation of a dry creek, and refilling the stump holes with new dirt. I noticed the communication btn my email and its acceptance, the original project lead and the actual workers was a little off. But I've never done this before so I may have been unclear. But the work was done in a timely manner. Cleanup was good, re-establishment of grass was amazing and I am well satisfied.

Jake's Property Services did a great job!! They completed the job on time and were flexible about adding on additional requests. I would definitely recommend them.

I've had Jake's Property Services out to my property a couple of times now for French drain installation, burying my downspouts, final grade/ seeding, gravel work to my driveway and to also plant some trees.

We’ve had a GREAT experience with Jake’s so far. Very competitive pricing, super responsive, and thoughtful in how they approached our driveway / site work project. The site needed a driveway that followed the natural curves of the land, and also a small berm along the side to block house and traffic views. It’s even better looking than expected. They also removed a large tree and re-graded a few high spots. They were able to get the house and barn pads cleared ahead of the weather so we can jump right into foundations when we get a good week.

I bought some dirt that they had posted on FB Marketplace. Reasonable price and delivery option that couldn't be beat. For this job, their delivery vehicle and the timing was practically unbeatable. While I use other contractors for items they also offer, this one, fill dirt, was all around a home run.

Jake did a great job with our project. The crew showed up on time, had great pricing, and he helped me rework a couple parts of my driveway for better drainage than before. I would definitely use again.

Jake’s properly services are the best. I have known Jake for a number of years. When ever I need something done on our property I call Jake. Every job he has done has been done timely and the end result is awesome.

We had a great experience w/ Jakes property services, I had some serious yard issues including sinking and settling that was so rough it became hard to mow. Jake came out and took a look, said he could get it done in a couple weeks and it would be smooth again plus they would also add additional dirt that would be hauled in. He went over what they would do, how they would do it and executed perfectly in a timely manner. I noticed on his truck it said “yes we do that” I asked about a drain I had out front that was busted, while he was there for the yard they ran out and got what was needed for the drain and fixed it on the spot (pretty cool) The price was fair, the job was completed when promised. I would hire them again and or recommend them to friends

Jake and his crew did an amazing job cleaning up around our property and removing all the trees, debris, old fence and brush properly and neatly. They did in two days what would have taken us weeks to do. Jake communicated well throughout the job to make sure he was doing what we wanted and then he went above and beyond.

Jake and his crew were amazing! We had an old pool and deck that we just didn’t use and was starting to become an eyesore. We decided to have it tore out and replaced with pea gravel and a fire pit and had the area fenced in. This was no small project! Jake and his crew worked for 4 days straight and transformed our backyard from unusable space to a private oasis. We couldn’t be happier! Thanks Jake and crew!

Jake and his team are amazing. We had a very unique erosion issue occurring in our back yard. Our yard backs up to a very steep ravine slope and Jake didn't hesitate to offer a solution after his first visit. He was professional, prompt and responsive to all our issues and concerns. Our yard ended up being a major job that required a lot of machinery, rock and dirt and his team handled it w/ no problem. He's even called me a couple times since the job was complete to follow up. Jake’s redid an old steep country gravel driveway. They changed it from hazardous to awesome in a day. We love it & everyone was very nice to work with.

The company had no interest in customer satisfaction. We hired this company to rebuild our driveway and they did a decent job however, when we expressed a concern for the quality of the job rather than responding with a remedy, they chose to respond with an additional quote. You would think that a company with as much experience as advertised would do a better job of estimating. This project is not an inexpensive undertaking, so be careful and anticipate job overcost.

Jake's Property Services installed a long dog eared fence on my property. The fence looks great and the team was very response. Jake was great with communication throughout the process. The team installed well, cleaned up after the job, and worked well with us to get it installed quickly.

I had my gravel driveway expanded and graveled added. That was spring 2022 and my driveway still looks great this fall. Its not often you receive compliments on a gravel driveway but I have! The employees were friendly and professional and worked diligently. But the most impressive thing is that there was an issue with my neighbors landline (that runs through my driveway) after Jake’s completed their work. The phone company wanted to charge me $800. I contacted Jake and he immediately offered to contact them and told me that he would take care of the issue no matter what. I want to mention that it was found to be the fault of the phone company. Less and less people will show up for a job anymore and even fewer will stand behind their work and their name. I will he using them in the future for all my landscaping and driveway needs.

Jake’s property service buried my downspouts and sump pumps and engineered/installed an excellent drainage system to help keep my lawn dry. The crew that did the work was timely, professional, courteous and cleaned up after themselves, not to mention very smart.
They took extra caution to ensure nothing was damaged during the work, treating my property like their own. The work was also very clean and done RIGHT. Do not look anywhere else for your property needs. I am getting my yard finish graded and seed planted this season as well and look forward to it!

We ordered firewood - the delivery was fast, but it didn't seem like a full cord and it was definitely not seasoned as advertised. It just hisses and bubbles when we try to burn it. It's dry from the elements, so it's not just wet. We hoped it had just been recently rained on when it was delivered and would be fine after it dried a bit, but we had a stack inside for a week and it's still doing the same thing. On top of that, the price point was high for a cord. I won't order from here again if I can help it.

Jake’s has done our rough grade, our concrete for the three car garage driveway and 100’ of city sidewalk. They also did our conduit drains to the street for our downspouts and sump pump. Excellent quality work. Also very responsive. We never had to contact them to find ouy what was going on and when. Definitely would contract with them again.

WOW! great local family company that does quality work at the right price. They won't be the least expensive, but they do quality work you can count on. They did a top coat on our driveway and also enlarged an area by the garage. Super well done and under the estimate by 0.5%. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I took 3 proposals for my yard. Jake did the best job of reviewing my yard before bid. The have experience so they knew what I wanted. 100 yards of top dirt and 300 lbs of grass seed. They were flexible to add a little more to my project and fit in into 2 days. Very good job, I am very satisfied with the look of my yard.

Jake's has done a great job with both jobs they have done for our school for autism. They were generous enough to donate a portion of services last fall for the barn pad and driveway they put in for our job training alpaca barn for autism. Thanks Jake's!

Jakes gave me a fair price for my mulch job and got the job done in our tight time frame. We plan to use them again in the future.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Very disappointed in the work Jakes did on my property. The original request was to have my yard graded to get the water away from my house AND prevent small “ponds” from forming in my yard. They did get the water away from my house but failed to grade the yard well enough to drain the water to the side of my property like we asked, leaving me with a muddy mess of yard to deal with this winter. Had Jake himself out MULTIPLE times for not only me to explain to him what problems we were having since his “completed” work, but both my mom and dad tried to explain it to him as well. He insisted there was nothing more he could do. Which is interesting because we found a different company to come FIX what Jakes couldn’t do. We even had to pay Jakes to come back a second time to try to give us what we were asking for and it is still not done right. Paid good money to have this done and my yard is worse then it was before.

We’ve used Jake’s Property Service three times now. Each project was different (sump pump installation, culvert replacement , rotted wood repair), but the result was the same each time – great work and great service.

Jake's PS came out to regrade an area in my yard which would hold water. Since the regrade, we haven't had much rain, but with the rain we have had, there has been no standing water in the area. I plan to call Jake's PS again for more projects.

Jake's is great! They have been doing the mowing for Safeway Electric Co.,Inc.'s properties for three years now and doing a terrific job!

Emailed for estimate and didn't get anyone out here until over a week after I asked a second time. Then I was asked for style of fencing and I asked them to just supply a high low estimate so I can decide what works best for me. Was refused the estimate and recommended to another company that does fencing and was told they were not interested in my job. What was so difficult of what i asked for? Don't waste you're time with Jake. Is it a coincidence that every negative review left the person is hostile? I made a simple request and was never rude with anyone. I have plenty of emails that will prove this. Stay away, apparently they are only good with supplying firewood and that also seems suspicious.

I just contracted Jake's Property Services to refurbish a gravel driveway in my backyard that goes to our horse barn. Awesome job! Jake personally answered all my questions via email and phone prior to the job and they came out unannounced in less than a week after I put down my 50% deposit. Jake's Property Services have been providing us with driveway plowing in the winter for nearly 4yrs now. This might sound like a simple thing, but our driveway is over 2,000ft long and made of gravel in a rural country setting so it is rather significant. In addition to that, I work for a hospital, so getting out after a big snow is a critical event. Jake's has always made this service timely (aka very early in the day) and seamless for us, which is much appreciated. They even go so far as to clear the snow on the way to the cars from the doorway when conditions have been particularly bad. It is extra care like that that makes for a wonderful service from a very reliable provider. Highly recommend.

Rain, rain, rain. Not to worry because Jake did an awesome job creating a well draining dry lot for my horses and barn. It is wet but the water is not collecting and the horses are not standing in puddles! I could not be happier and highly recommend Jake's Property services for any job. They will figure out what you need!!

I used them for firewood. They seem very professional, answered the phone quickly and took my credit card number over the phone. They delivered the wood a couple of days later, much faster than anyone else could in September. The wood was well-seasoned and properly cut. More importantly it was at least a cord, more than I've seen from other companies I've used. The only minor complaint is that they also delivered about 200 pounds of dirt and debris along with it that I had to rake up and shovel into bags. Overall very happy with the service.

My son wants to live there! We definitely have fun every time we are there. I always feel relaxed and like part of the family! If you ever need any work done, or firewood, and the best maple syrup around from Bob. And the cutest baby mini piggies ever!

Called at the beginning of June to get our 10 acres cleared, said they would email for quote. Two months later I get an email saying itll cost $50 for them to come look at the land THEN give a quote. I gave them 2 stars for effort. We rented equipment ourselves.

Jake’s Property Services did a great job on my concrete patio. They were always available for questions and any concerns I may have had. They are definitely very customer service oriented. I would definitely recommend Jake and his team.
