John, the owner, was on time for the estimate and to do the work. He was very proactive with rescheduling the work when Hurricane Sandy was forecasted to hit the same day, and came in advance of the hurricane to do some work to help keep my basement dry through the hurricane. He came to do the rest of the work as soon as the storm passed. He and his crew dug out and replaced window wells and put in new 2 inch pvc pipe through the window wells and into the existing french drain in the basement, and flushed the drain. The work area was neat and clean afterward. He is very pleasant and professional, the price was competitive and he stuck to the estimate. John was present while all work was being done, which gave me added confidence, and he really seems to know what he is doing, which I why I chose him. I have done almost all of the work on my own house for fear of shady contractors, but this was an excellent experience. I highly recommend J.P. Bachand for basement waterproofing.
