Dave Ulrich and his team of 5 men were outstanding. Dave advised me on every step of the process to replace my roof. He was honest, fair, and knowledgable. His team installed my roof in 1 day and cleaned up the debris when they finished the roof. It was a pleasure working with J Compton Roofing Co. I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs.

We've had J Compton out a few times for various issues - pre-purchase inspections, small leaks around plumbing stacks, ice build-up, etc. They've always responded and scheduled us quickly and take pictures / videos while on the roof to better help us understand what's going on. Strongly recommend.

When I sat down to leave a review for J. Compton Roofing & Contracting I first think of the people behind the name.

Jonathan Compton is the individual that is out in his community after a storm clearing the local streets of debris & checking his neighbors roofs for any quick fixes he can make to keep their homes dry & his wife, Kelsey, is the person who is stopping by to bring his crew sandwiches & Gatorade’s for those long days.

We asked J. Compton roofing to stop by a family members home recently for a soffit fix & he headed over at the end of the same business day (even though that was not expected) but because that’s the type of person he is. He works hard to take care of those around him, his customers included!

Can’t speak higher of him, Kelsey, & the company. They always do everything in their power to provide honest & excellent work.

Replaced the roof on our historic barn and stables. A neighbor referred us since they worked well with the insurance company and we have the exact same policy. As an added bonus, we watched them work on their roof so we already knew what to expect in terms of their site management and employees.

Most importantly, we didn’t want to take any risks with upsetting our stock or getting any debris in the pasture. We briefly considered ranging or stabling them elsewhere for the weekend. Turns out the owner’s wife has a passion for animals and they really went over everything with a fine toothed comb (or shall I say brush!) and took the extra time to walk the property after cleanup. I really respected that.

And what timing! All that rain that just hit us (3 1/2 inches in ONE hour might be a record over here) and the stables are dry as the silage inside.

Compton stands behind their excellent work. Dave Ulrich came out for a small repair. I ended up replacing two roofs, both times I couldn't be more satisfied.
