Please do not let the website fool you like it did me. A website that has all “5 Star Ratings”, although there were only 5 reviews written and all 5 gave the highest ratings, should have been a red flag.
After being recommended by an employee from one of the building material stores because this company had done work for that employee, I researched this company and chose to go with them because of the recommendation and ratings from the website.
My experience has been a nightmare. I had to ask for things to be redone in several different situations. Starting with the Hardie Board Sidings installation. The siding was cut either to short or to long in some areas and where it came up to short, those places were patched up with small pieces of the siding. A window removed and replaced that should not have been. I had to bring attention to siding that was not painted when the painting was done. The next phase of the remodeling was the interior which consisted of remodeling the kitchen and other areas. The cabinets were poorly built. The cuts were uneven and very noticeable. A set of the cabinets were built in the wrong place and were built to long to fit in a particular area. Countertops were built and did not meet expectations. So many flaws had to be corrected which caused the cabinets to have to be painted over and over again and the build up of the paint caused the cabinets to look even more unattractive. I was refunded a partial amount of the money, that we agreed upon, to have the countertops and cabinets redone. I am still waiting to be refunded the balance.
There are other issues that I encountered during this remodeling but I think I have given enough Information for anyone to decide if they want to do business with this company.
I have been doing business with this company since January of this year and I cannot get the work, that I have paid this company to do, completed as of today. I admit that it is my fault to pay for work that hadn’t been performed yet, but the contractor would ask for draws to meet payroll on a weekly basis and I was unaware that I shouldn’t have allowed that, especially when he was asking for the same amount for payroll when some of the workers did not show up for work on said days of some of the weeks. I don’t know if it is because I am a female that I’m being taken advantage of or that this is just normal operating procedures for this company.
Two months ago was the last time that this company came to do work in my home. The contractor told me that he would return the following week. I have reached out to him by phone and messages, since then, but I get no response. I have never been interested in writing reviews, as a matter of fact this is my first time. I feel the need to do so because I have given my hard earned money to a company that has taken advantage of me and I’m not pleased with the way that they have conducted business and to make others aware.
