We had a full replacement of the exterior of our home with Hardie siding, soffit and fascia and trim as well as gutters. The house looks fantastic. We had a great experience with Ian and the team at Ideal Siding. They worked diligently to get the job done despite some challenging weather. They were responsive when any unique details came up over the course of the job. I highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure working with Ian and Ideal Siding. His pricing was fair, communication from quote to completion was excellent. As construction jobs go, there were bumps along the way but Ian kept on top of everything and handled each issue with professionalism and to our satisfaction. We would definitely recommend Ideal Siding!

Ian proved to be an unprofessional and unreliable contractor. Despite his polite tone, he showed little respect for us as clients. He wasted our time and energy over a period of two months after we had clearly agreed on the project scope and pricing. Do not be misled by his "we match the price" advertisements. In our experience, he initially agreed to the price and asked us to wait while he renewed his license. We patiently waited, even turning down other offers. However, on the day we were supposed to finalize the project and conduct a walk-through, he informed us that he could no longer proceed. I’m relieved that we didn’t commit to a larger project with him—his lack of professionalism and disregard for clients' time could create serious issues mid-project.

The new sidings changed the look of our house! Ian was super helpful throughout the process. Not to mention the designer service they offer helped us choose the right color that goes well with the existing dark brown roof. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Ian and the crew. From the design stage, Ian worked tirelessly with us and the designer and we reviewed A LOT of mocks before deciding on the approach. Ian also made sure that the execution and installation went as smoothly as possible, taking into account the oddities that are often prevalent in old houses. Review of Ideal Siding: our siding project was great experience. For starters, the first meeting gave us a lot of confidence based on Ian’s knowledge of the product and process. He was easy to work with, and the price quote was very competitive. We received a lot of support when deciding on the color and the product we wanted to use on our home. Ian was always available and checked in often, and his team was professional and did high-quality work. Questions were answered promptly and concerns were addressed. The cleanup was immaculate, and we loved the finished product! I highly recommend them.

The pricing was very competitive, and the work was top-notch. Excellent project management over the 3 1/2 weeks it took to demolish, do the prep work, then install the siding. There were a lot of little details one does not think about as inevitably, things come up with a project of this scope on an older home. Ian Was there every step of the way to promptly deal with any problems encountered.
We replaced our original, 42-year-old cedar shingles with Hardie Board. We worked with a designer that Ideal partners with who provided digital renderings of the home in different colors to help us in our selection. There are a LOT of colors available.

We are more than pleased with the final result. Just outstanding work. I highly recommend Ian and his team at Ideal Siding.

I recently hired Ideal Siding to install new siding on my house and repaint the trim and was very happy with their work. I was pleasantly suprised when Ian took an interest in preserving the details in my "outside the box" Arts and Crafts house on our challenging, steeply sloped lot even though it would be extra work for them. Communication was great throughout and the crew was very neat and considerate. They even took care of details like running the cables together to make the final look much cleaner. Highly recommend!

Ideal siding did an awesome job replacing the siding on our home. The workers were prompt, efficient and did a wonderful job from setup to cleanup. Our house looks amazing, better than it ever has. I recently worked with Ideal Siding again for another siding replacement project. This time, they also helped me design and build a modern portico for my home, and the results are incredible!

From start to finish, Ian was truly invested in bringing my vision to life. He provided expert design guidance and explained what would and wouldn’t work for the new portico. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the work.

Ian took the time to address all my questions, reviewed the numerous pics I sent him for design ideas and delivered a flawless final product. Just like before, they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Ideal Siding. See the before and after pics below!

December 2024: I had a great experience with Ideal Siding Westchester! The back of my house had siding that lifted, allowing moisture to get in, which caused rotting and water damage on the interior wall. Ian was my main point of contact and was incredibly responsive. He came out promptly to assess the damage and sent me a detailed quote the same night. The proposal was very detailed and the scope of work was easy to understand. I thought the price was reasonable.

After the holidays, we scheduled the repair, and the repair man he sent out did a fantastic job! The siding and interior wall look amazing, and the workmanship exceeded my expectations. I’m so relieved to have this issue resolved. I highly recommend Ideal Siding Westchester for their professionalism, quality work, and excellent service!

We were replacing the exterior of our home with Longboard and I needed to find a good contractor. I met with several but was skeptical if they had experience with this material. However, Ideal Siding stated on their website that they installed Longboard. So I contacted Ian and arranged a meeting. I was able to get a quote that same day. Ian's teams is fantastic. His installer Milton is top notch craftsman. The whole team is well mannered and professional. I have been dealing with a lot contractors and this is the only stress free experience I have had. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted Ideal Siding Westchester for a quote and some design options for incorporating Hardie siding on a new addition to our home, plus replacing most of our existing siding. Setup of the consultation was a breeze. Ian met us at our home and devoted at least an hour talking over various design and color choices with my wife and me. As construction on our new addition had yet to start, we had to rely on blueprints to imagine the finished product, but Ian has a great eye and gave us some fantastic recommendations. Ian was transparent about pricing and timing and provided us an estimate within days.

Ian took things a step further and put us in touch with Courtney for a complementary design consultation. Using the dimensions from our existing home plus the blueprints of the addition, they rendered our house in 3D and then created numerous color schemes and patterns (horizontal plank, board and batten, etc.). Courtney set up a virtual meeting to work through all the various design options with us. As a professional designer, she took great care and interest in understanding what aesthetic inspires and motivates our choices. Being complentary, there was no additional fee for this service.

We are still in the early stages of the construction of our home addition but I can’t recommend Ideal Siding enough for all their care, experience, professionalism and transparency in process.

Working with Ideal siding was the best decision we could make to give our home a facelift. The quality of siding and gutters they provide, to the pricing, to the crew that installed it, Ideal was unmatched with the other companies we met with. Working with our rep Ian was a seamless enjoyable process. He was very professional, always available when I texted him and made sure each step in the process from ordering the siding to completion was on schedule. I can’t believe what an easy process it was for such a huge job and all of that is due to Ideal Siding. We love the results and are now the best looking house on our block. I HIGHLY recommend using Ideal siding!

Ian is really nice guy, but was unable to find the siding piece I needed to replace on my house. I waited 1.5 weeks for a single siding piece and he was still not able to obtain it. I felt like I had to pull teeth to get updates, there was no initiation on updates, and the scheduling for instillation sounded like it would've been a decent wait based on my conversation with Ian... Meanwhile I found this other company that was able to find the piece within minutes after I met with the guy. So I will be getting my siding issue fixed with JKR in 2 days. There are better options... Communication skills to clients needs to be better and Ideal sidings does not seem to have broad connections with enough warehouses for sidings parts.

They quickly organized their crew and supervised my project to make sure the work was done correctly. The office returned all phone calls quickly and was attentive to all concerns. I would highly recommend their company and I appreciate their professionalism, honesty and integrity
