Ideal Construction

Our company has used Ideal Construction for all of my concrete work on our Campus in Lincoln. Sage Tweton is awesome to work with and is always timely in answering calls and questions. Superior work and done quickly. Great team work amongst Ideal Construction.

We have used Ideal for years at Orchard Village. I can't compliment their work enough. Jeff and Sage have been so wonderful to work with. They are dependable, flexible and the work is always above expectation. Sage and his team get many compliments from our residents each year. I highly recommend. Great team!

Ideal Construction helped us design and install a dream pantry for our pre-existing, new home. From start to finish and every step during the process, it was the most amazing experience we could have imagined. There’s no need to be hesitant or unsure about the finished product when you call these guys. I enjoyed working with the Ideal team! Many workers for different areas of the kitchen, but Mike, the project lead, coordinated everything and was on site often. I also worked with Rachel on the design elements.

Overall, my husband and I were able to get a general estimate, pick out material from a showroom within the budget, and start the planning from there. The total kitchen redo took a little over a month.

There are some things I wish they helped guide more or suggest, but they want all the decisions to be yours. A good thing I suppose. Make sure you come prepared with ideas!

So My friends just moved into a new apartment complex and after talking with many new move-ins it seems like this new construction building was never actually finished before they stopped coming out???? To list some of the issues:
• missing shelves in kitchen cabinets
• windows that do not close fully or cannot open correctly, or were installed incorrectly causing poor sealing and leaking
• no care taken when installing things - cabinets covered in chips, brand new appliances covered in dents and scratches, dings in the walls and doorframes, paint splatters all over the floors and even footprint shaped paint spots on the floors
• Sliding patio doors that have gaps under them letting light and even grass clippings, bugs, and rain inside the apartment, sliding doors that are nearly impossible to open and close and that cannot latch fully or lock
• construction was clearly pouring construction materials down the drains causing slow drains and clogs
• shelving in closets not being installed or being installed poorly so that the shelving fell down when people tried to hang things up - one resident even told me his closet shelf had had a support screwed into a pipe causing a leak into the apartment below them!

I would never trust this construction company or any of the contractors it employs. Apparently Level is under Ideal and did the kitchen shelving and have been a nightmare for the management to try and work with in getting the shelving they need that is missing in apartments for instance. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Ideal Construction is very responsive and completes the work just like they say they will. I was in contact with Brett to get an estimate quickly after I contacted the company. I tried to get other companies to bid on the work, but couldn't get a call back. Brett had the bid to me within 24 hours of coming to my house.

Once I decided to go through with the project, I was on the schedule and had the masonry contractor on site within a week and a half. The masonry work was done quickly. The carpentry work started the next day and both carpenters took a lot of pride in their work. They were able to complete their work in about two days. I went from having no access to my backyard from my garage to a very nice door and matched trim.

All around they were very professional and responsive. I would definitely use them again.

I live in apartment where ideal was doing work. Guys are very personable and the clean up after was amazing!

In my numerous dealings with Ideal and their entire staff I have always been pleased and impressed with their work product and the folks making it all happen. I will plan to utilize them this next work season.

Tony and Doug were great about taking care of any concerns or needs. They were diligent about working the project through to completion.

This company gifted a disabled individual with a brand new scooter when he was hit by a car this winter. They also offered to make his apartment wheel chair accessible. What a wonderful way to show support for your community & respect for all human beings!

We were in need of getting a floor slab poured for a TLE Preschool before the weather introduced frost into the pad. Ideal worked very well with our rushed schedule to make sure this happened. Very good people to work with.

Hard working crew, worked safely and efficiently to complete our project. The end product was among the best of any foundation we have subbed out. Great quality finish and as level as could be.

We work with Ideal every summer keeping our neighborhood up to date. We are a very small customer but we are never treated that way. They look out for us with advice and work in our best interest. We appreciate their work but really enjoy their efforts to do well by us. They are very professional.

Our firm hired Ideal Construction for an office expansion project. We were very pleased with the results and the timeliness of the completion. Ideal's Project Manager Kevin Hess did a fantastic job of communicating with us throughout the project by providing weekly updates of where we were & what was expected in the following week. He also made sure that the quality of the work was good in a proactive manner which we very much appreciated. We were very happy with our decision to use the Ideal Construction Team.

We couldn't be happier! We had 2 cedar decks installed and the process couldn't have been easier.
They listened to what we wanted. Brett came up with such excellent sketches/plans we had a hard time choosing between which one we wanted. They were informative, timely, communicative, and precise on all measurements and work they did. John spoke with me on a daily basis to make sure we were happy with the work, and when I changed my mind a couple times, he was flexible and accommodating. The workers were all polite and very knowledgeable. They cleaned up the area at the end of every working day, which was a new and positive experience for me. Nick even checked with me to make sure the music they were going to listen to while working was okay with me. Jeff Hartung oversaw the entire project and gave us a very competitive bid. Because Ideal Construction did an such an excellent job laying our cement driveway a while back, we had them do these 2 decks, and again we couldn't be happier.
