Hybar Windows and Doors

I’ve been waiting 3 months for my glass and these guys have just been giving me the run around d and promising to call me back but blowing me off. Please avoid these guys at all costs. I’m starting to think I was scammed out of my deposit.

Update: they finally saw my review and admitted they did not order my glass until 2 days ago (it’s May and I ordered in march). They can’t install my glass for another few weeks and when I asked to just be refunded they refused. Jessica the so called manager who does not return calls and doesn’t know how to work a card machine to refund a customer who did not receive their product should be fired. For 3 days she was out of the office during business hours. She is argumentative and only has excuses not solutions. Please take your business elsewhere I’m begging you.

Updated 2: They got my window and had Jordan come out and install. He had a make it right attitude and was able to replace my window with attention to detail. This final experience redeemed a few stars. I feel that most of the team gave 5 star customer service but I have to hold off on the final 2 stars due to lack of communication and Jessica’s poor attitude. To the rest of the Hybar staff who have been nothing but courteous and professional I thank you.

Hybar Windows and Doors did a great job with our project and I would highly recommend. We knocked down the wall leading out into our back yard and replaced the wall with two big sliding doors (154 in each).

Xander gave us a fair and reasonable price compared to the other companies that we received quotes from. He also did a great job communicating with us through the sales and building process.

The installation team also did a great job specifically Daniel and Broderic. They worked efficiently, got the job completed in 3 days and cleaned up after the job was complete.

I'd highly recommend Hybar for your next project as they made this process very easy.

Had a complete window install several years ago with their composite material and low e glass double pane. Our home is now temperature stable and reduced exterior noise.

This is a great company! They took good care of me and I own a printing company and I am a realtor and I highly recommend them!!

Tywon was awesome! He replaced the glass on my daughter’s bedroom window, fixed our bathroom window locks, and even fixed our entry door into our garage just because he noticed what was wrong with it! Something our locksmith said was not fixable without a new door and he fixed it in about 2 minutes with one screw. He was so helpful and super nice!

I ordered a pivot entryway door along with a sliding glass/screen back door. I waited over 4 months for the front door. The price for both was over 20k. Upon installation, the door got dinged and scratched in several places. Luke ( sales guy ) said he would have someone look at it. Then a few days later as I was cleaning the glass I noticed that every single piece of glass had smears and a fog-like appearance on the inside. In March Luke told me, "I've let the manufacturer know about the issues, they are getting the glass reordered. I also have some custom match touch-ups coming for your door for the cosmetic issues that should take a week to come in". I have called Hybar and Jake several times since February and 4 months later I finally received a text from Jake ( the worst communicator/customer service person in North America ) that the vendor hasn't ordered the glass yet which puts us months out. I think it was actually HIM that hasn't ordered the glass yet.

BOTTOM LINE-
If you go with this company you should plan on 3 to 6 months for doors to come in, plan on babysitting the installers to make sure they don't damage the product upon installation if there are any double-paned glass, make sure they clean it before they leave so you can see if it is smeared on the inside!!! Last but not least, if there are any issues, plan on getting the runaround and fake promises for months from Hybar and Salesman.

Ty and Mike arrived right on time to replace the rollers on our sliding door which was over 15 years old. Because of the age, it required extra service and attention and they did an excellent job of solving the problems and the door now operates like it did when first installed. They also spent time explaining what they were doing and giving tips for the future. They were great and I wii definitely ask for them again for future projects.

Today Hy-Bar sent two technicians to my home. They were professional, on time, knew what they were doing and in general very helpful. They did some minor repairs on doors; making sure they were properly aligned. Repaired one bedroom slider door that I was unable to lock by realigning it. Checked the locking mechanism on a downstairs door that has a multi locking mechanism. Checked to make sure metal pin was aligned and properly fit into the door frame above which is part of the locking system. Checked the door sweep and recommended that the rubber stripping be replaced as there was just one left. They also silicone sprayed the slider track for a sliding door and made sure that it was now properly moving. They have been here before and they are consistently 5 STARS as far as I'm concerned. Tywon and partner were very friendly and polite and made sure to alert me to the fact that the company now washes windows and does any needed caulking. Thank you very much.

Should have done this years ago! Fantastic job, and a very professional and friendly crew. 3 days to completion, which was amazing and they cleaned up the areas each day. High quality all around. The support was great and finished the project a month ahead of schedule.

Hybar Windows and Doors could not have done a better job. Legit 5/5, job came out perfect. Every single employee was friendly, on time, helpful, responsive. They have a beautiful showroom, I highly recommend you go in and take a look around. I spoke with every door company I could find. They legit have the best Showroom in Vegas with the best selection.

Its a family business and Xander (the son) who i did most of the interactions with gave me a no nonsense price, unlike so many other door companies that would start at a ridiculous price that they knew only a sucker would agree to and would make me fight tooth and nail to get it down. Hybar started right at a fair and reasonable price (based on all my research) and made the process seamless.

The installation crew came and did a great job, I tend to have a lot of questions. They kept me involved in the project, worked efficiently, cleaned up after theirselves and at one point the one minor issue that I had (and i mean really small) the owner of the company (Dad) came out and resolved it on the spot and went way above and beyond even what I expected.

At the end of the day, I am happy with the price i paid, the workmanship is perfect. It couldn't look better, and i couldn't be happier. I almost feel bad posting pictures because I suck at taking them, but i can assure you I'd do this transaction over and over again.

Hiring an working with this company has been one of the absolute worst experiences for my husband and I. They did not even send a crew of trained installers to remove and then reinstall new sliding doors in my home. The untrained 'service crew' installed the door inside out, leaving my home unsecured all night allowing anyone outside to slide the door open and come in my home! When speaking to management about it they did not seem to even care! The instillation on my bedroom was also left incomplete and my carpeted brand new bedroom flooded due to the guys leaving the drains plugged. This company has a complete lack of professionalism all around and no customer service care. Much of my home has been damaged and we cannot get over that they left our home unsecured. We cannot warn enough about this company.

Outstanding Job! Holley F. and her team came in explained what was going to happen and walked me through the process from start to finish. They were professional and respectful of my property, they arrived on time and stayed until until each phase was completed. My project consisted of 5 panels of glass, which required removing an entire wall. Joe S. took charge and made sure that every detail was not missed and rechecked everything to my satisfaction. Special mention to Big Red who without a forklift helped carry the 1100 beam. I need more modifications done and if it's the same team I highly recommend using them.

We ordered a garden window from Hybar. After installation, we found out that the window sits too deep inside the wall frame by approximately 2 inches and is an unequal depth on each side. If the stucco were to be patched, it would flush to the edge of the window and overlap the frame up to the openable portion of the window. We asked for a couple of expert opinions. They confirmed the problem. We had multiple conversations with Hybar company. They refused to correct their mistake blaming our house structure. We filed a complaint with the Contractors Board, but it would take a few months to process our claim. Finally, we had to hire another window company. After simple frame work, they reinstalled the window in correct position. We had a very bad experience with Hybar, would not recommend them.

I admire the speed and craftsmanship of the Hy-Bar Door specialist who fixed all entrances to my home recently! They have been to my home twice and both times were quick and really addressed a very stick sliding door which the Builder told us was sticky forever! It’s been 19 years of sticking and yanking on the handle. Well the door slides open and closed freely now because of Hy-Bar’s work. Thanks for the relief.

Marlon came out and solved my problem very quickly and then helped me understand how to avoid other potential problems with sliding windows in the future.

Great and fast service. Technician was on time. They give me a price over the phone and that’s what I paid. I highly recommended them.

So they came an hour early, rebalanced and rehung our front door and leveled the base as well, all in twenty minutes. Couldn’t have been nicer, more efficient, or more professional.

Brutal service. Monay was absolutely horrible to work with and made things extremely difficult. I was trying to get an estimate to replace a $20k door and they would not provide me any information or have a technician call me over the phone to discuss different options. Avoid this place at all costs.

The experience was great. John was on time, very friendly fixed all of our doors very quickly. I would definitely recommend him. Price was good too.

Excellent service from marlon lopez and HyBar window and doors. He called to keep me informed of arrival time, showed up on time and explained everything thoroughly. My doors had huge gaps in them and now all close properly after his adjustments and weatherizing. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend Marlon and will use them in the future if needed.

I've been a homeowner here in Henderson for 18 years and have used many different companies in maintaining my home. These folks at Hy-Bar windows and doors provided by far the most superlative service of any company we've used to date. Monet was wonderful and detailed in setting up our service call and Jordan, our service technician was fantastic: competant, personable and efficient. We couldn't be happier! I've already recommended our neighbors who have set up an appointment for next week.

We used Hy-Bar to repair our sliding glass door and replace the weather stripping on our front door. The technicians were very professional and completed both jobs effectively and efficiently. I highly recommend them.

I scheduled an appt for AN ESTIMATE to see what work would be needed to fix my sliding glass door…. The scheduler kept saying “when they come out to FIX the door”….I kept correcting her, saying I did not want any work done …. We are older folks on fixed income, so I will be getting estimates…I felt pressured the whole time . So their tech came out, told me we only needed new rollers, which would cost $229…. When I said I would call back if I wanted to schedule the work, tech (Jordan) said I would need to pay $129 for his inspection fee TODAY.. I swore I never heard about that before, and Jordan rudely said that all information is read off a card and therefore I definitely WAS APPRISED of the inspection fee….(I’ll bet she read over that part REALLY FAST cause I’m a pretty good listener.)….Jordan said the inspection fee would be waived if they took the job …. (well, hey !…. I made it CLEAR, on the phone and in person, that I needed ESTIMATES, and next thing I know I’m locked into a job OR ELSE, I’M OUT $129 ……That felt like a sleazy business practice to me, so I said I would call back…..When I called back today to go ahead and schedule the work, , the woman I spoke to said “yes, the inspection fee would be waived, however I would NOW have to pay a 50% deposit first ,”….I asked, ‘why is that ?’, and she rudely stated because they would want to be sure they were going to be paid !!…..I said something about never recommending them to anyone else ( and offered her my credit card), but she said she would NOT send out her tech …. I think I hung up on her, but you can always get a full transcript of your call because they remind you over and over again that your call is being recorded…

I may be a senior citizen, but I’m pretty sure that is not the way to do business ! ….. MY RECOMMENDATION : DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !,

We called Hybar for replacing our back door threshold.
Technician Jordan came out & took measurements of all parts needed.
Upon their receipt of parts he came back out and replaced the threshold, weather strip, and even adjusted the door for perfect fit.
He was a highly skilled technician did a meticulous job. Very professional and we are very satisfied with his job.

Haven’t actually used this company but the kid on your work trucks/vans is HAUNTING. On top of that they should be wearing shoes of operating power tools. What’s the point wearing a hard hat if your toes are out…

I didn't have very good luck with the technician that came out for my front door that was leaking when it rains. He basically said there wasn't anything he could do that it was the way my roof was designed on my Pulte home. I told him that it didn't leak for over ten years and the roof hasn't changed. I also told him that if you let a little water run down the door that it starts coming inside. His response for this was any door will allow water in they're not airtight.

I then asked him about a window that had a plastic piece popping out; he glued it but within an hour it was popping out again. He only wanted to collect the service fee and leave.

We called Hy-bar to replace 3 custom windows over our French doors. The tech came out and measured, then it was time for installation and tech noticed the grids were incorrect, and had them corrected! Hy-bar called me to explain delay, and they installed them the next day. Installation was flawless, this guy was awesome! He was professional. Clean. And proud of his work!! I highly recommend this company! Customer service kept me informed all the way!! Good job Hy-bar..

Hy-Bar is an exceptional business based on quality and service.
In addition to repairing doors and windows, they also do a very detailed window cleaning. After the cleaning, my windows all open and close easily. All tracks work like new!! AND they are sparkling clean. Crew is incredible.

HY-BAR was the 2nd window company that we contacted. Lucky for us the 1st company didn't follow through on the quote to replace our slider. The tech that came out said we needed to replace it. HY-BAR saved my $1000's! The HY-BAR tech was more than happy to replace our rollers and fix the lock. He was kind, on time and very professional. Great service. Great price. This is a wonderful company. They do what they say and they come quickly. The two men that repaired my sliding glass doors were very nice and respectful. This is the company I would call if I have a problem with my doors or anything that they repair.

I had a great experience with Hy-Bar Windows & Doors! Our new home had French doors with a broken astragal, which we were able to diagnose at home, but unsure of how to order parts for/fix. We were a little reluctant to have a professional take a look since we’re DIYers, but sooo glad we did! John went above and beyond to help us out—the first time he came out, he wasn’t told by his schedulers that it was an astragal issue, so unfortunately he wasn’t able to bring the part.

At our second appointment, he installed the new astragal, weather proofed our doors (at my request), realigned everything, and even tinkered with our sliding patio door that had some issues and ended up fixing it! We were quoted $3,000+ for new doors by another company, and ended up spending a fraction of that (~$500) for like-new doors. Highly recommended! Sometimes you just need a professional.

I needed a small fix to the passive dual front door to get it to open as it was jammed. I wasn't able to open it anymore making it difficult to move large things in and out. After a web search I decided to try Hy-Bar because they listed ability to handle residential needs whereas most companies only handled commercial spaces and industrial garage doors. They scheduled a technician to come out, but his truck broke down. They were quick to contact me and assure another tech team would make it out that day as long as I had the time. They were able to quickly diagnose problem, fix quickly (within 15 minutes) without any need to order parts and prolong situation. Truly helps to have door operative again.

We have been suffering with our glass sliding door not working well at all for way too many years. Finally I called high bar and in no time they had it fixed and it moves with the finger. We have had Marlon out twice to service our business front door. Our building is super old and our front door has never opened/locked right and this was aggravated further after our front shop was boarded up last summer. Marlon fixed the door so customers can easily come in and out with no more embarrassing wrestling with it! He also installed some sweeps and replaced the fur trims for us so we can keep the downtown outside trash OUTSIDE!!!! Marlon himself was wonderful to work with, explained everything well and generally has a really comforting demeanor. We are so thankful!!!!
