Hyatt Place Blacksburg/University

This property was great. The room was clean, staff was friendly and offered a great breakfast. Parking was a little tough on the weekend but would stay here again. Located close to a few shops and centrally located.

Beautifully kept hotel with a stellar breakfast. Staff were super friendly and accommodating to all needs. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend.

We really liked this hotel, I spend less than 20 minutes biking it on the phone. There was no wait time, food was good, pool looked nice. I would recommend this hotel again

The room was large and very well-laid-out. It was also super clean and the bedding was first-rate. The hotel was quiet, the staff was friendly, the food was good, and the location is outstanding for anyone wanting to be able to access Virginia Tech! I also really appreciated having great food options and a CVS in the same parking lot and a grocery store, Dollar General, and several other good dining options in easy walking distance.

The staff were very friendly and I felt safe completely safe attending as a mom with 4 young children. The breakfast was delicious and the kitchen staff kept the food and drinks plenished.

As always with Hyatt...a great stay. Very clean rooms, comfortable and a great breakfast. Customer service great. We had a small issue with the TV. Someone was up very quickly to resolve. The hyatt blacksburg is a wonderful location to explore virginia tech.

Clean and spacious room and hotel is near the VT campus. We needed overnight stay on the way home from visiting New England area. Hotel location served us well.

Amazing quality! So worth the price. I did not pay to secure an early check in, however upon arriving a bit early they were able to check me in no matter. Best breakfast I've ever had at a chain restaurant, more like B&B quality! Friendly staff. I may be changing my regular hotels for this chain!

Great location close to the Vtech university and eateries. Nice quaint and quiet place with good views towards the university side.

By far the best value Hyatt hotel I’ve been. Super clean and great service. Can’t be better. Should be a flag for other Hyatt hotels.

Stayed here for one night and was pleased with my stay. Pillow top bed and had a nice fresh breakfast. Thank you for having milk alternatives as an option. So helpful. Wish there were more gluten free options. Great time! Only reason I have 4 stars is the evening staff when I checked in were really un pleasant. Breakfast staff kept the food stocked and fresh. They did an amazing job.

This was a GREAT HOTEL. All of the people were super helpful and kind. A lot of Tech students work there and they are super kind. The rooms were SUPER clean. Great coffee too! Will definitely stay there again.

Booked stay via Expedia for next night. Front desk person was friendly. Rooms were very nice - spacious, king room with sofa. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean. Breakfast the next morning was very good, blueberries were great, huge selection of teas, variety of food that was kept stocked. Will definitely return if get the chance.

I recently visited Blacksburg, VA to see our family friends and we stayed at Hyatt Place in Blacksburg, VA, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, always going out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable.

The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful layout, which made it easy to relax and work when needed. The amenities, including the fitness center and free Wi-Fi, were excellent.

The complimentary breakfast was a highlight—fresh, diverse, and delicious options to start the day right. The hotel’s location was also ideal, close to the Virginia Tech campus and several great dining options.

Overall, my stay exceeded expectations, and I would highly recommend Hyatt Place Blacksburg to anyone visiting the area. I’ll definitely be returning in the future!
