Forrest Been was my Hometown Roofing rep. The crew did a great job on the roof, but Forrest really went beyond. He actually went up on the roof and took several photos of all the damage. He spoke with my insurance adjuster and showed her the photos along with naming dates from the last six months of significant hail storms we have had in this area. To top it off, several days after the roof was finished Forrest came back to my house with a hand saw and sawed a tree stump that had grown in an awkward position over the top of my a/c unit and he didn’t charge me for that! He really is the best and I feel like Hometown Roofers LLC are lucky they’ve got him.

My husband and I had been denied of a roof when all other neighbors were getting new roofs. So after a year. Forest Been worked with us and was able to get us approved for a new roof. He went above and beyond what it took with reports of weather. Hail storms. Pictures. And he got us approved. He is a great guy. The roofing crew did a great job. Hometown Roofing and Forrest Been are excellent to work with. Forrest was quick to find solutions to our roofing needs. My office building not only has a shingled roof but has 3 separate flat areas covered with TPO. Two of the areas needed to be replaced. Also Forrest pointed out some problems with the wood fascia which needed to be replaced and even though Hometown does not do that type of work, Forrest suggested a contractor who made the repairs and matched the existing paint perfectly. I am so happy with the work that was done and would highly recommend Hometown Roofing and Forrest Been for your roofing needs. I will definitely use them in the future.

Forrest and his crew are awesome. Forrest came after the claim was approved by State Farm for the hail damage from June 2023. He took care of getting other professionals to come and replace the windows, Chadeks Power Washing to wash and stain the wood sidings, and stayed on top of ADT to remove the solar panels. We were having to wait months on ends to get ADT to come out and remove the panels. Forrest had to handle ADT because they were taking their time. Forrest and his crew are very professionals and made sure everything is done right and in timely manner. They even replaced the damaged roof structures at the same time as the roof was replaced. They also redecked one part of the front room. They replace the metal roof on the house, garage, and shop in just three days. These guys went above and beyond. The Hampton Methodist Church was damaged by strong storms in January of this year. We contracted Hometown Roofing to replace the roof. They did an excellent job, and they worked well with our insurance company to make sure we were compensated.

Forrest Been took care of us! We had storm damage to our roof last year, but it got denied by insurance. I called Forrest up this year for a free inspection and he took it from there. We now have a brand new roof that was covered in full by insurance. Pleasant experience!

We had an awful hail storm that caused some pretty serious damage to an already old and damaged roof. Scottie Johnson came by and left his card which I initially ignored until my mother mentioned how she had been sitting out on the porch enjoying a nice weather day when he happened to come by. She talked about how he sat and visited with her and even proceeded to clean some pine needles off of her car. She told him that he didn't have to do that and his response was "I would want someone to do that for my mother if it were her." Scottie came back by and visited with my mother on the porch another day when he was in the neighborhood checking on another job in the area. That's just how he is; he treated us like family. He walked me through the process when communicating with the insurance company, kept in constant communication about any delays due to rain and other severe weather, and even helped answer questions that I had when picking the shingle type and color. I have nothing, but positive things to say about Scottie and the team that worked on our roof. They showed up on time, knocked it out in a very timely manner, even considering there was some additional unexpected damage, and were very thorough in their clean up. The name Hometown Roofing really was the perfect choice because Scottie was very down to earth and it was like you were just chatting with a friend. I would highly recommend them!

He called and sent pictures as the repairs were made and gave us options to fix the roof issues we encountered. We had our roof replaced in mid October. The crew was on site less than 12 hours and had the job completed. I was very impressed and pleased with the workmanship and efficiency!

Our house had hail damage and our neighbors recommended Hometown Roofing. We had the pleasure of working with Forest who was very patient with us as we worked through some material availability issues. We are happy with our new roof, they got the job done when they said they would and did a good job with cleanup. Recommend to anyone needing any home/roof repairs!

Do not use. Substandard work and shady business practices. Then the project manager and owner both lied to my face on separate occasions. Went to the office and invited the owner to come have dinner with my family and inspect the work for himself that his crew left on my roof. He said he would be there that evening. Later that afternoon I received a text with excuses and letting me know he wouldn’t make it but would try the following weekend.

We had our roof replaced over the summer. Zach was our rep, and he did am amazing job with communicating all the steps in the process. We are very pleased with Hometown and highly recommend them!!

I can't say enough good things about the guys at Hometown Roofing. Tyler went above and beyond when my insurance only wanted to cover a partial repair, even coming back out a second time to meet with the adjuster and provide him with an education. My insurance changed their tune and covered a full roof replacement, my adjuster even called and remarked on how good of a roofer we hired.

On to the the work now. Materials were delivered pretty close to the time quoted and the guys were there bright and early on the scheduled install date. Knocked it out in one day and it looks fantastic. I arrived home from work to a completed roof and importantly NO MESS.

We had hail damage and Hometown Roofing came highly recommended. We submitted a contact us email with no response. I called and talked to a lady that was to have someone contact us and they never did. I called again and 2 days later someone contacted me and then came to my house to review the damage and give an estimate. I never heard back from them. Very disappointing service form a local business.

Great company Forrest Been the project manager was great he came out and looked at our roof and went over everything with us helped with picking out shingles, communicated very well through the entire process from start to finish. The work was great got done within half a day of new shingles ontop of replacing quite a bit of damage otherwise .
