Homestead roofing was very responsive to fixing the leaking on my roof. The office staff were super friendly, and the workers were professional and got the job done quickly.

Courteous, professional, fast, and fair. We replaced a 20+ yr old roof that started to leak. William provided a quick quote and sent a repair crew to stop additional leaking before the roof was replaced. Job was well organized with samples, materials, and dumpster drop-off and pick-up. Roof was finished ahead of time – in our case, in one (longish) day. Good job on clean up too.

Homestead did a terrific job installing flashing for my skylight and a small roof repair. They came out the day after providing an estimate and were efficient and explained everything they would do. They stuck to their estimate with no surprises and left the premises completely clean.

I have been using Homestead Roofing since 2002. The first job was to put a replacement roof on my auto repair shop. Typical flat roof for a 3 bay shop built in the 1950's. They did an excellent job. Over the years they were consistent. Showed up for scheduled and non scheduled services/repairs as needed. Roof coatings and flashing, etc. They most recently help guide us towards a better roof coating product that has worked well and solved the leak problems it was supposed to. In life, you get what you pay for; some say Homestead is not cheap. I disagree. I think they are a top quality pro service and talent, care and concern all come at a cost. They have assembled a great team of people. Thank You Homestead. Here's to another 20 years .

The team at Homestead did a fantastic job diagnosing and repairing our nearly 100 yr old slate roof. Wm Bell was always responsive and flexible scheduling around a stretch of erratic weather. Work was neat and thorough. Very few companies even respond when they hear slate. Thankfully, Homestead has the opposite approach!

Owner Jeff Willner was great to work with. He was true to his word, responsive and on-site to check work. His crew did excellent work start to finish. I highly recommend Homestead and felt they were a better value than the five other roofing companies I interviewed for the job.

Homestead Roofing Company did an excellent job on our roof replacement in Ridgewood! Our primary contact, William, was such an honest pleasure to with as he handled the inspection, estimate and scheduling of all work completed over nearly 4 full days (during some challenging inclement weather!). The Homestead crew (headed by Juan) was extremely hard working and very professional. We also had Homestead replace cedar shingles in many areas that had been rotting and damaged over ~27 years and they did a great job on the house siding too! As an engineer, the quality of their work was impressive. Bottom line … I would highly recommend Homestead Roofing Company if you are looking for top notch local roofers.

Just had my new roof completely by Homestead Roofing.
This is the 3rd job they have done for me in 2.5 years. I first had them change out our skylight. Then 1.5 years ago my Mom needed her sky light changed at her house and we used them.

Last week they completed our new roof. It looks beautiful. The whole process was very smooth from beginning to end. William was there or in contact every step of the way. The company is very professional and honorable. The owner, Jeff, stopped by to review the work as well. They guys were very clean, covering the bushes and picking up every piece of scrap. We actually had 2 roofs, as the prior owners put the roof over the original. You could imagine the debris. Everything was cleaned up. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend using them. You will not be disappointed.

The entire process went smoothly from start to finish. William came out to provide an estimate and sent us the quote the same day. He was easy to reach and communicated effectively throughout. Any concerns we had were promptly addressed (prior leak). The roofing job took two days, and the crew was courteous, ensuring the cleanup (nails, debris, etc.) was handled thoroughly and with care.

I called Homestead to deal with leak we had and was put in touch with William. He came out the next day to look at the issue and within a few days, they installed ice and water shield along entire length of the wall and replaced the roof shingles. Additionally, they noticed an issue with the stucco and sent the correct workmen out to fix it. It was completed in a few hours. The work looks beautiful and I am confident that we will be leak-free this winter. I am so happy with the results and feel that the price was very reasonable. Thanks, William and Homestead!

Even though the services I needed from Homestead were minor, everyone I dealt with was courteous, professional and eager to help. Cathy in the office was exceptionally patient and accommodating, as was William Bell. They did an excellent job, and it was completed within my time frame. I would recommend them without reservation.

they did two separate jobs for us. One was to repair some loose shingles damage from a storm. The other was to reposition and redirect some drain spouts that had been causing some occasional flooding in our basement. Both jobs done easily, quickly and work well! Nice folks to deal with also!

Roofer Team were fast, efficient, safe, neat and professional. They answered all questions and concerns. Where there was evidence of water damage to the underneath roof sheathing, they replaced the area with new.

My garage roof was leaking and the seal around the vent pipe in my home needed to be replaced. The guys came on time and repaired both problems quickly. They really knew what they were doing.

Fantastic work! After a rough windstorm, a number of shingles came off the house. They got me on the schedule within 24hrs to give me an estimate for repair and completed work the next day. They are friendly and very quick to respond.

We had a great experience with Homestead Roofing. We noticed a large leak coming through the ceiling of my daughter's closet during a downpour. Even though it was the weekend, a roofer came within the hour to temporarily patch the problem. They then came that Monday to fix the issue. I highly recommend Homestead!

Generally very responsive and easy to work with. They showed up on time and finished the job on schedule. I inspected the work a week later and had some concerns with a couple of spots where flashing was stopped too early, a fish mouth where a wire hit the roof and shingles installed to close to the dormer, membrane not run up the chimney to tuck under flashing collar. I took photos, marked up issues I had and Homestead came out and resolved them.

We have used homestead roofing for our replacement rooting, and also for the certain teed shakes covering the entire cladding of the house and also for repair of the fascia board after high winds. Their roofers are very skilled and do a top level job. The company is reputable and reliable. They provide fair estimate and provide high quality work. I would use them again for our next roofing project.

We recently had our roof, gutters, and skylights replaced and chimneys repointed by Homestead. First of all, our estimator, William Bell was great to work with and was there from start to finish. The team of workers were great and cleaned up everything down to the last nail. The finished product looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier. We would highly recommend them and would give more than 5 stars if we could.

Excellent work! Homestead responded right away when our roof was damaged by strong winds and provided a temporary repair.
Then they replaced our roof & gutters and repaired the chimney, all done on time and at the cost promised. Our estimator Bill Bell kept us updated and responded quickly to all questions. Very clean & professional job.

They blew the roof and property clear of debris then raked our garden and went over the yard and driveway with a magnet for any loose nails. Highly recommend them.

I’ve been working with Homestead Roofing since 2015. We hired them then for some repairs needed and continued with annual maintenance in the spring and fall to keep the roof in shape. When the roof needed replacement in 2022, they were the obvious choice. We can trust the service and they are reliable. They honor the warranty and don’t beat around the bush. You may have to follow up on messages, but they always respond. For emergencies the response is within 24 hours.

I can't tell you if they do good work. I went there the day after a storm, January 10, knowing they would be busy, but talked to The Penn St Alumni about my leak and told someone would reach out to me within 24 hours. Go 2 emails the next 2 days saying the same. Today I got a call that they can come over. It's 16 days later. I can deal with having to wait but no one reached out to even tell me how to protect my roof until they could come by. Is it that hard to keep your word and let me know what the plan is???

We recently had a skylight replaced by Homestead Roofing. The service was excellent from start to finish. Rich came within a day after we called about our leaky skylight. He checked out the problem and said they could order a new skylight and install it the following week. The installers came in less than a week. hey were polite, very professional and had the job done in little over an hour. Several rains later we are dry as a bone. Thank you Homestead!

Gene visited our home to inspect the work we needed completed to resolve a sky light leak. He was very informative, knowledgable and informed us it did not appear the repair was too severe. At no time did he make us feel pressured to choose Homestead. He assured us the remaining area of the roof looked in good shape thus avoiding an added expense.
