Alan was early, thorough, could do any job easily, personable, and neat. I really appreciate all he got done in a short amount of time.

Don and his top professionals never fail to deliver perfect work, and they will leave the worksite at your home absolutely immaculate (every single day -- even if you aren't there). The teams are never intrusive, have beautiful manners and drive immaculate vehicles equipped with everything they need for the job. They always finish on schedule, and you will feel you and your home are a priority. I've never heard of a company that delivers like this one. They held my house keys and could come and go when I was abroad. I knew all would be taken care of as if I were there.

Anthony B. did the annual service on our generator. He arrived on time and was very competent and professional in performing the work.

Had power outage and generator didn’t kick in. Called and Anthony came out quickly. Fixed the problem in no time. Anthony is competent and a nice guy.

Contacted Homesquare to fix a couple of things around the house and it was a great experience. Carlos was punctual, friendly and took pride in completing quality work. Will use again in the future.

I was working with a very short deadline to get some outdoor work done (deck staining, fence painting, etc) and Homesquare came through. Great job with scheduling and the team that came to do the work was courteous and easy to work with. Everything looks great!

At first I wasn't sure how they had so many 5 star reviews. Then I left a bad review and saw that it had been removed. In short, the work is shotty at best, the people are rude and dishonest, and they are significantly over priced. One of the things they did was install molding around our floor. He noticed that we had a lot of molding material in our garage (hold over from the prior owner) and asked if he could use it on the room. Not knowing anything about molding, I asked, will it look good? His response was yes, it's all the same. I trusted his expertise (my mistake) and when installed it was the worst job I'd ever seen. His response was, "you told me to do it this way...it was the wrong molding but you said go ahead". So he told me it was all the same then blamed me when it wasnt. They never remedied this either...his words, "deal with it". These people are horrible. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING. The positive reviews you are seeing are NOT the whole story. They remove the negative reviews. We'll see how long this review stays up.

Juan did an excellent job! He stained and repaired my deck, the railings and stairs. He also repaired and replaced drywall and baseboard molding, and he painted the repaired areas. The work he did was seamless. He was on time, efficient, neat, and well-organized.

We use HomeSquare (formerly TDS Homeline) because not only is their work beautiful, they're great to work with. Dan Adams, who assesses jobs, is a calm presence. He listens, asks good questions, and provides solid advice and ideas. The crew of painters and carpenters - anyone sent to your home - will be skilled at what they do. He did an excellent job replacing my existing garbage disposal. My only concern he came a bit underpreppared for a plumbing job. His bag should have been filled better so it would have made him more efficient. He had to run out too often to get things he should have been carrying and it was on my "time " being used. All in all I was very satisfied.

The technician installed a new basement door. He did an excellent job with a difficult install. He worked hard, was cordial and did a great job. He cleaned up after himself really well too.

We are extremely pleased with Home Square. They provided a fair quote for our jobs. Louis, their handyman, was thorough, accomplished what was originally discussed, and had time to take on a few more tasks. He was a delight to work with. We will be using Home Square again.

I was extremely pleased with the entire process and remodel - basement apartment remodel / remediation due to the heavy rains / flooding.
John and his team were very responsive, professional with their work, and detailed in the workmanship.
After each day of the week-long process their team almost made sure the living area was clean.

In anticipation of a new refrigerator being installed in my 93 year old house, I needed to repair the original wooden kitchen floor in the custom built area in which the unit would stand. The oak boards were uneven, listing from left to right, and actually missing in places. In one corner there were no joists beneath the boards and you could see right down into the basement. It was a complicated job. Luis Pillco from Homesquare arrived at the appointed time and quickly got down to work. He was courteous, professional and pleasant, quickly grasping the problems involved in fixing the floor and ready to discuss the options. He took care to lay down drop cloths and to clean up at each stage. The resulting floor was well-supported, neat, level and ready to fit the dimensions of the new fridge. All in all, Luis was a pleasure to work with and I am very happy to endorse HomeSquare based on his work.

We have used the Connecticut branch of the business extensively the last year or more. We had water damage to our kitchen and finished basement below. When another company “ghosted” us because they didn’t want to work with us Don and his team came through. We had the kitchen completely remodeled with removal of flooring, cabinets and counter tops and replaced with new. They painted and replaced trim as well. In the basement they replaced ruined drywall and a bathroom vanity, then painted. We were very pleased. A few months later we called Don again and had our home completely stained and painted on the outside and the south wall of cedar siding was replaced new. Our latest project was a total roof replacement that was demolished and replaced all in the same day. We now have the best looking house in our neighborhood. We will continue to use this company should further need arise.

Fernanado completed work for us in Pleasantville, NY. He was polite and very helpful during the visits. He made sure to do a thorough job by applying a stain blocker prior to painting the ceiling after fixing the drywall. Really pleased overall with Homesquare from start to finish.

Luis did a great job with several projects in our house - installing water fixtures in our bathroom, helping re-attach closet doors, securing a bookcase to our plaster walls, and disassembling large furniture pieces. He was prompt and on time and also very self-sufficient, allowing me to multi-task working from home all the while! Would definitely recommend Home Square.

I first used HomeSquare for gutter cleaning for the past two years. This year Jose did a great job and noted some damage to my chimney which he repaired.

I had about a half dozen jobs to be done around the house so I called HomeSquare back. I needed the installation of a grab bar into the beams of a tiled shower for my wife to prevent her from slipping and falling. Jose returned and was able to locate the beams and installed the grab bar so it would not pull out. He did a great job in doing that.

I needed a picture shelf hung in a wallpapered hallway, and several other jobs around the house. He did them all. He put down appropriate floor coverings to prevent any mess.

Outside the house my mailbox has been knocked over by a snow plow. He managed to repair it without having to replace the entire post. Again he did a great job.

We are a retired couple concerned about Covid, and Jose was very accommodating in keeping a distance and protecting us from getting infected.

Why this was our third project with Homesquare: these people are expert, customer focused, respect the client's timeline and easy with whom to do business. Highly recommended. They removed wooden cladding on garage, repaired hole in wall caused by vines, replaced with fresh wooden boards and painted. Looks very attractive.

I have used HomeSquare for a number of years. I have always found them responsive, professional while providing generally good value. They have performed a wide variety of home maintenance jobs for us and the jobs are usually done efficiently, without drama and at a price point which is reasonable.

The big storm in early August tore the top off of a giant tree close to our hose and sent it stabbing through a number of parts of our roof and into a, hall, causing a lot of structural damage and making a mess. When the mess , tree debris, and the rest of the tree were removed, we called HomeSquare. Paul Mignone came immediately and gave us a detailed and very professional estimate of what a full replacement and repair would involve. That was accepted by our insurance immediately, and Paul's team went to work over the next week or so making us whole and in many ways better than before - and doing the work in the least disruptive and obtrusive way possible, given the extent of what was needed -- and cleaning up after each day. I've never worked with anyone doing this sort of reconstruction who was as immediately responsive to questions and as efficient overall. He and his team are quite remarkable really and I wish there were more stars to offer.

The best decision I ever made was to get in touch with Homesquare when I was selling my house. Less than a week before closing there was a leak over the kitchen sink. I reached out to different plumbers and roofers. No one could find the problem.

I reached out to homesquare and Fernando arrived the next morning. He was professional, and clear thinking...He is experienced in all manner of home projects. His approach, eliminate what can be eliminated and the rest is just work. He told me he wasn't leaving without fixing the issue.

He found the leak - which ironically was in front of the hole punched in the ceiling by the last plumber I called and who couldn't see the issue.

He fixed the leak and repaired all drywall, repainted the fixed areas. He was quiet, industrious and just about the most effective professional I could have imagined.

John Sullivan and John Gallagher from Home Square were excellent. They did a great job painting our basement floor and ceiling making it into a beautiful playroom, put new cabinets, sinks and toilets into our 2 upstairs bathrooms, and rebuilt our kitchen refrigerator door. In addition John Sullivan found the cause of the leak from the garage cupola, and fixed it, saving having to buy a new cupola. They are the best!

I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of a difficult bathroom renovation in a very old brck building,
a small room with not so straight walls.
We had the original cast iron tub removed and installed a shower basin, retiled the floor and walls and
put in new bathroom fixtures.
The result is a totally new look which I'm very happy with thanks to the talented hard working Ryan who

I initially wrote this review for their Scarsdale location, but the work HomeSquare's done for me was all in Greenwich, CT. The folks at HomeSquare are absolute life-savers. I'm a new homeowner who has a more than modest list of things to fix around the house. And I'm definitely not equipped to do most of them myself.

Dave and Christian have been a godsend for me and my wife: instead of trying to find plumbers, painters, electricians, and carpenters through the woodwork in a brand-new town, we give Marta at HomeSquare a call and we were in business. Ernesto and Homesquare have been awesome - there is seemingly no job that they cannot handle. it started with a leaky toilet, moved on to (among a few other jobs) flush-mounting some artwork, trouble-shooting a shower leak into my kitchen, fixing some stone steps, and, most recently, installing an attic ladder and some rough attic flooring. that's pretty impressive. Plus, Ernesto is really responsive! that prob matters to me most.

I found Home square very responsive when i called. The firm does follow up with emails. The tech Al showed up on time. He went right to work. Al was efficient, knowledgeable and polite. Price was good. I will hire them again in the future.

A friend was moving to another part of the country, and she offered to give me the hours, remaining on her HomeSquare contract. We had never used a home maintenance service and I thought we might use it sometime. The experience has been very good, and I never expected so many projects to be handled so easily. Besides doing the work, the technicians’ attitude is great, too.

Homesquare is fast, efficient, friendly, and thorough. We have worked with the company for a little over a year and they have never let us down. We've had two emergencys and in both scenarios I had multiple Homesquare employees checking in with us during off hours to ensure everything had been taken care of. As a working Mom with no time it's incredibly comforting to know that my home is being thoroughly taken care of and I know if anything needs attention from securing door handles to water heaters replaced, Homesquare will be there. I had my first experience with HomeSquare today and it was a terrific experience. The young man who serviced this home was not only kind and knowledgeable, but courteous and so very capable.
