Our 5 star review is for Todd,his crew, and Ryan. Todd was a superb communicator and worked to ensure our job went well. Todd takes pride in his work and is extremely pleasant and positive. His crew was organized,neat,and worked non-stop to complete our job. We, also, appreciated that Ryan worked in a very thorough and competent way ,estimating our job. He made sure we received all the information we needed to make a decision.

Show me a company who gets it right 100% of the time. You won't find one. Unfortunately, I was the one in a thousand who did not receive great customer service from HRS. Or any at all. That led to a negative review after not being able to speak to anyone. My roof was completed on June 6 on a very hot and humid day. I have a complex roof. The ball was dropped every step of the way after signing the contracts. The entire job. Nothing like the 5 star reviews I had read before choosing them.
So why a 4 star review. Well, you see, on Friday, July 18th, at 1213, I received a call from Trevor Fabian, the general manager of HRS. As I was at work, the call went to voicemail. Trevor apologized for dropping the ball in many areas, mainly communication, and requested a call back. He left his cell phone number. As I will not call a company past 5 without permission or on a weekend, I reached out on Monday, July 21, and asked what his hours were. We made a plan for me to call him when I got off work at 6. Trevor did not blow smoke up my ass like some companies would. He made me believe he truly wanted to make things right. Now we all know you can't turn back time and start over, so I really didn't have high hopes that this would be resolved. We decided the first step would be having someone come back out to see what I perceived as wrong with the roofing job. Again, I wasn't expecting anything at this point. Minutes after hanging up, Trevor called back to see if I was on my way home, and if I was, would it be alright for Keith to swing by and take a look. I said sure and went home to wait. Keith showed up a little after 7 pm and blew me away with how genuine he was. He, like Trevor, apologized for the way my roofing job had gone and promised to make it right if I let him. We walked around, and I showed him what I felt was not okay for a new roof, and he took pictures of those areas and came up with a game plan. Keith took the 2 satellite dishes and the metal chimney that was left from the roofing job without me asking. As much as I liked Keith and how genuine he was, I didn't hold out any hope that this would be resolved any time soon. Then, on Wednesday, July 23, at 2:38 pm, Keith called and told me that he would be at my house Saturday with a crew and fix everything that we discussed. He verified the time with me Friday evening for this morning, July 26, at 8 am. Keith arrived early and walked me through what was going to happen. He updated me every step of the way. When the crew completed the job, we walked around together to make sure everything was to my liking. Keith was fantastic with communication and making me feel heard. Not once did he make me feel stupid for asking a question about why something was done the way it was. I never expected preferential treatment, I just expected communication and customer service. I had more communication this week than in the just over 3 months since deciding to go with HRS. While I had a shitty experience to start, Trevor and Keith, especially Keith, turned a 1 star review into a 4. In good conscience, I can not give a 5 star review as it was not a 5 star experience. The bottom line, though, is that if something is wrong, give them a chance to make it right. If I needed another roof, I would give them a second chance and go through them again.

Bruce and his crew did an amazing job. From the time they arrived to when they drove off was 5 hours. Bruce and his crew answered any and all of my questions. They installed shingles and replaced a large skylight. They thoroughly cleaned up everything before they left.

Steve and his crew did an amazing job putting our new roof on! Everyone was very professional and friendly, and were very respectful to us and our property! And quick too!

We recently needed to have several loose asphalt roofing shingles replaced on our 9 year old house. We contacted Home Roofing Solutions and quickly arranged an inspection. Ryan came to the house and arrived early! He was pleasant and very helpful, not a pushy salesman. He quickly evaluated our needs and clearly explained our options. Later that day, we heard from Destiny in the office and we scheduled a day and time for completion of the repair. The installation contractor (Eric) also arrived early on the scheduled day! He was pleasant and talkative as well. He explained everything he would be doing and got right to work.
When he was done, it was impossible to tell where on the roof the replacement shingles were placed. The worksite was spotless.
The whole experience dealing with Home Roofing Solutions was nothing but positive. I would not hesitate to use their services again in the future. I would recommend them to friends and family members without any hesitation.

What a great company. I called on a Saturday and left a message because we had a leak in the roof. They called us back Monday was out that week to look at the roof and sky lights. Within 2 months they were here putting a new roof on and sky lights in. Shane and his crew showed up at 7am and left at 6pm with the job being done!!!! They did a fantastic job.

From getting the estimates, to scheduling the work, all members were timely with providing us with the information we requested. The crew was on time, courteous and professional. They removed the old roofing and installed the new roofing extremely fast, exceeding my expectations. As the existing roof was being removed, another crew was performing the clean-up and removal of the debris. Prior to leaving, the clean-up crew ran a magnet to pick up nails and they walked the property, picking up what the wind had blown around. I highly recommend Home Roofing Solutions for your roofing needs.

Todd and his crew did an excellent job replacing my roof. The entire process was seamless. After scheduling an assessment I received a quote the same day, and had the roof fully installed only a few weeks later. I was impressed it only took one day to complete. The professionalism, attention to detail, and customer care was outstanding.

Todd and his crew did a great job. Punctual, efficient, quality work, and cleaned the job site nicely upon completion. Ryan the salesperson was knowledgeable and professional, as was the entire team led by Trevor. I highly recommend HRS, and that’s a big deal because I have high standards and I rarely give online reviews. Communication from the various departments at HRS was excellent throughout the entire project (we had to re-schedule 4 times due to weather). Great people all the way around.

When you live on MDI you are accustomed to being charge extra because you live in Bar Harbor. The technician, who drafted at estimate on the roof, told me they charge the same square footage price all over the State so dont worry. He kept his word. Contract was signed on the spot with no hassles.

When the workers came to do the work, lead by Steven Joy who was great, the project was done in one day as promised. The crew members were great, the work was quality work, the cleanup was great and everyone was a true professional.

HRS was excellent! They were communicative, timely and did a fantastic job on our complicated multi pitched metal roof. I would hire them again in a minute!

I had a standing seam metal roof installed. I would not go with this company again. Keith the "metal man" thought caulk was a good substitute for proper flashing. He caused a leak tying into my not-so-old roof--I had to leave a negative review in order for them to come out and fix it. They didn't use foam on their ladders the first time installing and scratched almost every panel to bare metal-- They replaced them the second time around and installed foam on their ladders. They didn't cut the siding evenly on the front dormers-- they did on the second time. They had to come back and cut the rear dormer siding straight. They forgot to roof a section of my roof--they did on the second time. They had to come back multiple times to fix issues they caused. If I didn't point things out that were obviously wrong they would have left it and that is why I don't think I would recommend them.

The turnaround time from first contacting them, to the consult, and the work being done was fantastic. Excellent work at a great price.

They did an excellent job on our new metal roof. From the initial consult to finish, they made it easy. Their crew are rock stars of the roofing business! They even went over our lawn with a magnet to collect any stray nails so our dog didn't step on one. I highly recommend this company!

These guys were great started at seven A.M and they were done by 145. They cleaned up after, and they were extremely friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

What an incredible team! Working with Ben and Todd and all the wonderful staff from accounts to operations who made this project painless, incredibly fast and very reasonable. I had them re-roof the attached barn of a 125 year old house and they brought it back to life like new. Only half a day, to take off the old roof, re-deck and shingle with no mess. Not the lowest price, but willing to lower the price to better compete with other offers. However, the service and warrantee are excellent, and the no interest and no payment for one year loan are exceptional benefits included in the price. And of course, the actual work completed was excellent, and the quality of work, and friendliness of their staff are spectacular.

They arrived on time and got to work immediately. We have since had wind drivin rain with no leaks. The workers were completely finished and had everything cleaned up in less than 6 hours. They Roofed not only the camp, but also the shed and even the old backhouse!

We would like to thank Home Roofing Solutions and their team of roofing professionals along with the job supervisor, Todd, for a job well done. Although the existing shingles were approximately18-to-19 years old, with the extreme cold we have had along with the high winds, some of the shingles had flipped over and broke off. The HRS team matched the shingles in our new shed, added a proper ridge vent and black trim to match our new black gutters. The entire house and two car garage were completed in under 8-hours, including a bay window roof. They even removed a bee hive for us! Great job! My wife and I highly recommend Home Roofing Solutions for anyone looking to replace their existing or have a new one done.

Our house needed a full roof replacement - new decking, underlayment, and shingles. I used the website to request an estimate, and was visited by a roof advisor within that same week. That advisor, Joshua, was thorough in his inspection and detailed in his estimate of what it would take to replace our roof. He answered every question I had, and made helpful suggestions. Before leaving, he gave us a lot of information on the available products.

On the day the work was scheduled, Bruce and his team arrived exactly when they said they would, and started removing the roof shortly after. I was particularly impressed at the work they did to protect the plants that surround our house. None were damaged.

They finished all of the work in a single day, and the entire team was friendly and professional. Before they left, they took great care to clean up all of the debris. In this case 'all' is not an exaggeration - there was no litter left.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our new metal roof! Great presentation by Max, wonderful workmanship and the job was done in two days! This was especially tricky since the crew had to rip off our old, faulty metal roof installed by someone else years ago, and install all new membrane and metal. First-class job on the part of everyone. Would recommend very highly.

I would highly recommend Home Roofing Solutions!! Ben came out and did my estimate. He was very nice, listened, and answer all of my questions. My flat roof looks great!! All the rot is fixed. There is now 4" of foam insulation on it. And with the extra insulation they had to hand make the drip edge which looks really nice. When it rains the water now runs into my gutter instead of going over it and in my back window and door. It is nice to be able open my bedroom window when it is raining out.

Worked with Home Roofing Solutions to get a new roof put on our home. It was our 3rd roofing experience and by far the best. I had a few other estimates from other contractors, and HRS bid was the most competitive. The products and workmanship is first rate.
I have never seen a crew that was this fast. Soon as they landed at 7am and set up. The crew had my roof completely stripped down to the Plywood
By 8am. The roof was capped and all clean-up was finished by 12 pm. 18 square on a 12:12 pitch for less than 10k.
These folks do not mess around.

Home roofing solutions did a great job with the roof on my Home. Dan came out to my house showed me a bunch of things wrong with my roof, explained all the different options they had to offer for roofs and colors, went over cost and payment plans. Communication was excellent! The team at home roofing solutions is by far the best team to work with even when they ran into having to do a little more to my roof than originally planned they showed up to my house around 7 and had to get more materials and still done by early afternoon. I was unable to be at my home during the install and the foreman of the crew installing my roof kept in communication throughout the day with updates(very professional and easy to talk to answered all my questions). My roof looks amazing the team did a great job all the way around. Very happy with how things came out.

Wonderful service, from getting the quote through completion everyone was wonderful. The job came in on budget and ahead of schedule. It looks awesome!

Very happy with the work they did! They arrived 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled start time and got the work done in a day. They cleaned up all the debris and moved things back to where they were originally. The project manager was very nice and answered all our questions and concerns. They made this process very easy.

We had a difficult time finding a roofer to come to our house in western Maine. I heard an ad for Home Roofing Solutions on the radio and gave them a call. The next day they were able to send someone out to give us a quote. They explained our options and provided three different prices/products.

I met with Dan this past summer, he came right to the house. He was professional and answered all questions i had and addressed what i wanted to do. TLDR: I was promised work to be done by the sales guy that the laborers were not made aware of, and far surpassed what they would actually do on the job.

I was not going to leave a review... But they just sent me an email asking for one so, here it is...

Was quoted a high price that scared me because my roof also had structural damage that needed repair during the roof repair.

I needed at least 4 joists replaced, a bunch of decking, and the whole gable end on the west side of my house repaired due to 20+ years of missing flashing.

They immediately dropped there quote when I seemed to have cold feet and I accepted it.

They showed up at the correct time and day (that's why they get 1 star)

They then proceeded to screw up the job horribly.

They pulled shingles from the wrong structure to start with, my garage was not getting a new roof.

The roofing crew had no idea that there was a carpenter from there own company coming to do repairs. Advising me when they found the water damage "you need a carpenter"

When the carpenter showed up he had no idea what he was supposed to fix. Asking me what he was supposed to repair, as in how in depth should he go.

My contract clearly stated that "all water damage around the chimney will be repaired"

Carpenter sistered up a joist while the roofing waited impatiently so they could get the new roof on, and replaced some decking.

They left my lightning rods just dangling off of the Ridgeline of the garage that they were not supposed to be working on, and just cut the cable and trashed the ones from the house Ridgeline.

They patched in close but not perfectly matching shingles on the garage leaking a noticable patchwork appearance.

The guy supervising the work at my house clearly had no idea the work that had been promised.

They "made it right" by sending 2 carpenters who pulled the siding and sheathing off the gable end, replaced many 2x4's and rotten sheathing, and sistered another joist. Essentially performing the absolute minimum to fulfill the letter of my contract.

What would have gotten them 5 stars? Either they could have done it right in the first place. Or. They could have pulled the new roof off the house about a third of the way, consulted a structural engineer to determine required repairs, and done all those repairs. Then pulled the roof off of the garage and replaced both for the agreed price on the original contract.

Dan was extremely helpful and informative throughout the entire process of repairing our roof. Whenever I had questions (and I had a ton) he was great at finding solutions that fit our needs. Excellent to work with.

Crew showed up right on scheduled time. Quickly set up and stripped the existing shingles. Cleaned the roof prepped with ice and water shield, new drip edge and rapidly set all the new shingles. Leaned up like no one was ever here!!! Only way you’d know was the new shingles roof!!!
Highly recommend Home roof Solutions for your roofing needs. They were wonderful to work with from estimate through financing to completing the job. Joshua Broadhead did the estimate and got us financed, Jeff and his crew did a stand up job with the work they performed.

We generally do not write reviews unless we are incredibly pleased or displeased. If I could give this company 20 stars I would. In fact the star system doesn't even apply in this case. There are not enough stars.

We were beyond impressed from the first interaction with Max, their salesman. It wasn't just that he was a nice and very friendly guy. He believed in the product he was representing as well as the company he worked for. Every step of the way and every person we interacted with impressed us more. We had initially wanted a standing metal seam roof on an addition and outcroppings of our home and we very quickly decided to have the entire house redone. Their team of 11 people arrived at 7 AM sharp, and had our entire roof stripped in 2 hours, taking efforts to protect our property, picking up as they went along. They worked as long and as hard as was possible. By nightfall it was snowing and extremely cold (we live on the coast of Maine). They had done 50% of the job. The following day we had to go out of town and knew that we had gotten even more snow. We were doubtful that they would be able to finish before our return due to the extreme cold and the snow. Sure enough our neighbor sent pictures of a beautiful completed roof. We can not express how impressed we are with this company from start to finish. If you have any doubts just give them a call. They blew all contenders out of the equation.

I was such a huge pleasure working with Home Roofing Solutions on my new roof. Their communication and professionalism from the first point of contact with Joshua were excellent. I don't even know we're to begin. I could write a whole essay all full of compliments for this company.we were loosing the home we are building and home roofing solutions save our whole house and turned our lives back around to were we feel like we can finish our new home.they literally saved our whole life .if u are looking for the easy way look no further the crew finish our whole roof in 3 hours and took care tightened up all the concerns we had . Ben Bishop, Brent and Bryce Hall arrived to do repairs on my metal standing seam roofs, installed at various times in last 25 years. Recent extreme winds have made it clear to Maine coastal home owners that shingles are a technology of the past for roofs. Many people do not understand the VAST difference between screw-on metal roofing, and standing seam. The grommets/gaskets around the screws in screwed-on roofing, degrade over time and disintegrate. The movement of roof panels sheer off the heads of the screws. The holes leak, the metal sheets detach. Thus, it is extremely important to find a metal roofing company that does standing seam or a modified version of the same with no screws.

Recently, Home Roofing Solutions came back to the Basin Rd in Addison to put a new metal roof on my 56 by 22 ft addition, with 8 skylights and a tricky connecting corridor with challenging valleys where an older metal roof had to join this new one.
