Paul is outstanding in his field. He had to get creative to fix the crack in our foundation, but there was no shortage in the quality or care in the work. I am very satisfied with the work done and strongly recommend.

I’d like to share my experience with Home and Basement Solutions. I had Paul come to diagnose my basement cracks and suggest a solution and eventually hired him for repairs on two walls with cracks.

I don’t have enough positive things to say about Paul and his company! We hit a snag while finishing our basement and our current contractor wasn’t able to waterproof adequately. Paul came out quickly to assess the situation, give us a quote, and even made calls to other clients to see if he could prioritize us. Quoted us a week of work and done in less than 4 full days. Totally recommend using Home and Basement over one of the big companies!

Paul and his team did a great job. They went above and beyond everyday and left the area clean when they finished each day. They battled through the weather and showed up when they said they would. The system has been working as promised and I would recommend Paul and his team to anyone who needs help with a wet basement or is looking to waterproof there basement before finishing it.

Paul was great to work with from start to finish on our basement carbon fiber foundation project. He is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable in his craft and is a caring and thoughtful person in general. Other companies seemed focused on upselling and expanding the scope of the project, but Paul understood exactly what we needed and took the time to explain the process and give us a fair quote.

Paul and his crew are a real throwback to a time when you got high quality work at a reasonable price. I received quotes from all the big name basement and waterproofing companies for an interior below ground french drain water system (we'll be finishing the basement at some point). Paul is the only person I talked to that actually did the work himself. He never tried to upsell me or made promises he didn't keep. Every night I'd go down into the basement to see their work and was extremely satisfied-- their cuts are precise, the trenches are dug to the appropriate depths regardless of rocks being in the way, and the final product looks and works great. No short cuts were taken even though they probably spent more time on the work than they expected. On top of that, Paul and his crew are extremely friendly, punctual, and professional. They even swept before they left. Since the project (and payment) was completed, Paul even stopped by to make sure everything was running smoothly. Wish there were more contractors out there like him.

We are very pleased with the work Paul did for us, upgrading our sump pump to a larger basin with a battery back up in a challenging space during a challenging time. Paul did careful work and went above and beyond by correcting some issues caused by a previous homeowner that required custom plumbing components. His quote was accurate and fair, and once scheduled he completed the work exactly to the timetable we agreed on. No surprises, just quality work. Thank you!

Paul and his workers did an excellent job! I was kind of dreading it at first though I would have to clean every night! How wrong was I he and his workers cleaned up every day after they finished up for the day. I would recommend him to any and everyone! Awesome job!! Reasonable price and if he said he was going to do something he did. We even threw in some extra work for him he never complained and did exactly what we asked of him!

Paul Watson accepted $13,000.00 to remedy my elder mother’s crawl space. He never completed the job or refunded any money. He will not answer the Attorney General, attorneys or the Va Dept of Labor Professions. This guy is a crook! Stay away!!! He also has an address in Baltimore, Md.
