On perhaps the hottest day of summer my AC quit cooling. I called Hobbs in the morning. Tech was out late morning. They drove out of town to pick part up. Tech returned and he had the AC up and running in an impressive amount of time. Very courteous and knowledgeable employee!!! This isn't the first time Hobbs performed exceptionally!!! New Year's Eve!!! Heater had issues. Their office was closing early however one tech came out and got it running and warm! Extremely satisfied with all services provided!!! P.S. Tyler was the tech!!!

Our technician Tyler was professional and knowledgeable. Our system was up and running again in a very short amount of time.

Our air conditioner quit working in the middle of the night and they got to us the very next day. Tyler did an excellent job getting us back up and running quickly.

HVAC technician Steven (sp?) performed routine service on my combo heat/air system today. He did the most thorough cleaning of the coils and entire unit, inside and outside. He actually took the time to do the job properly.
Most employees of HVAC companies I have experienced do these routine service checks and cleanings as fast as they can, then rush off to the next job.
I highly recommend Hobb's Mechanical and appreciate the quality of their work.

Tom and Brandon were friendly and professional. We had thermostat problems that Tom performed additional maintenance on our thermostat while Brandon performed our seasonal maintenance on the external unit. We have had this company for all our heating and A/C needs. We will continue to use them in the future.

After purchasing our first home, we got a few quotes for installing mini splits systems in our upstairs and potentially replacing the rest of our system. We went with Hobbs to install a mini split in our upstairs because they were local and the lowest bid.

Positively speaking, I will say that everyone I talked to was always nice and professional. The system they installed works well too.

It ended up taking 7-8 weeks for this project to be completed once they started the install. From the get go, the guy that did the quote showed up almost an hour late and admitted he forgot to check his calendar. No big deal, but communication and showing up continued to be an issue throughout the project. They would frequently schedule times to come work and not show up, be hours late, or show up and say they didn't have the people/parts to complete the work. There were constantly excuses about things going on, being short staffed, ordering wrong parts, etc. which I understand. I just wish someone had communicated better with us. They almost never reached out to me, I usually had to be the one to call their office to make sure things were on track, otherwise we wouldn't hear from them and work would stop. At one point they told us they needed 3 people to finish the project, so they would have to come back when they had enough guys. I called to schedule that, and a week later they showed up and again told us the same thing, that they'd have to come back when they had enough guys. What was the point of scheduling it then? Even when they did show up, they were constantly in and out to go work on other calls. Which again, I understand, but we were just obviously never a priority. Finally it got to the point that I just kept calling multiple times a week so that they would stop pushing it off and it finally got done.

This was a major inconvenience for us, and I wish we had gone with another bid. We were unable to work on or use our upstairs until it was air conditioned, which meant our baby could not sleep in her room and my husband could not work in his office. This lead to our daughter sleeping in our room which disrupted everyone's sleep. My husband wasn't able to work in his office which meant that I had to constantly try to keep our baby quiet or leave the house so he could use the phone. Also, all of the furniture and boxes we were waiting to move into the upstairs remained downstairs, so 2/3 of our house was rendered unusable for 2 months.

I feel like this probably isn't the norm for the company and that we just had a bad experience. I understand that things happen, and if they had just communicated better with us we probably wouldn't have been upset.

Cool, family owned business. Prices are quoted quickly and accurately, and by someone who will back it up.
Highly recommend them.

I called Hobbs mechanical to come fix my air conditioner this summer. They showed up at the time they said, fixed the problem within minutes, and gave me a lot lower bill than I had expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has a heating and air conditioning need.

Had my AC stop pumping cold air and called Hobbs. They were fantastic, even in these early summer months they had someone come by later that day and fix the problem. He also did some maintenance on my other AC unit. I really appreciated the fast service and the reasonable rate. Will use them again for sure!

Our furnace had a bad ignitor so I called Hobbs Mechanical and they got someone out the next morning. He arrived when they said and he was in and out so fast! Both times we've done service with them they have had the best customer service and the nicest technicians helping me out. I highly recommend those in the service area call and schedule with Hobbs Mechanical!

We bought a wood burning stove from Hobbs. They did an EXCELLENT job on the install in a very old home. They told us how to take care of it, and gave us lots of information about safety and up keep. We also bought a pellet grill from them last Christmas. There has been a lot of operator errors with this grill! They have been patient thru my learning process and have even offered to come to my home to teach me. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

From the time your phone call is answered to the time your problem is solved, everyone at Hobbs is friendly, upfront and eager to find a solution. I use their maintenance program and it has kept our units in tip top shape. Whenever there is an issue, my problem is resolved that day or the next. When I have an issue with commercial equipment they are even more quick to respond.

Diane & Harvey are great to work with & Have a great staff. You are making a strong decision when you chose to do business with them.

Extremely satisfied with our Lopi Stove purchase and installation. Diane and Kaeli did a fantastic job of addressing our concerns, handling the Quote, the work order, scheduling, and answering any questions we had very rapidly.
Installation was also solid, and it was done very professionally by Tom, and his assistant Primo.
This company won our selection verses two other competitors, simply by our admiration of sincere customer service and we would recommend them to anyone. They continued to impress us all through the process of the purchase of our wood stove.

Just had a summit wood burning fireplace insert installed along with a new Chimney liner. Dianne was the person who helped me decide on the right unit and stayed in contacted thru the whole process. The installers spent a lot of time installing the Chimney and stove correctly. Really enjoyed the professionalism of the whole team! Enjoying a wonderful fire on this cool night

I have used Hobbs on a couple of jobs, one for a fireplace install and another for a complete HVAC install using Mitsubishi mini-splits. Harvey and his team have always done a fantastic job and have great customer service. Highly recommended!
