We have used Hans and Kevin for close to a dozen projects over the pat four years, everything from small / medium / large painting jobs to window installation to deck and railing rebuilds to a complete basement gut and remodel.

We don’t know what we would do without Hans. Since moving to Westchester from NYC in June of 2023 he has been nothing but a blessing. His guys do wonderful work, his prices are very fair, and they get things done quickly. In addition, he is very ethical. Hans and his crew did an absolute fantastic reconstruction job on my son’s Coop. From the total gut of the kitchen, bathroom, new ceilings, crown moulding, pocket door, etc. I personally have gone thru a few contractors in my time but Hans has been the best. His crew is very polite and take pride on the work they do. I highly recommend them.

We have used H&K for a major kitchen renovation, powder room renovation, exterior painting of our entire house and most recently an upstairs full bathroom renovation. Hans and his team are very thorough and understanding when it comes to doing what is right for the homeowner. His entire team are polite and courteous. Hans never allows a construction problem become your (the homeowner’s) problem. He brings things to your attention immediately and lets you know the options on how to fix a problem, think finding a random pipe or duct work in a wall that has to be taken out. We wish we met Hans and H&K Contracting 10 years ago when we first moved into our house and had other home projects done by other contractors that were not at the level of quality and the attention to detail like H&K. Hans is also extremely transparent with costs and pricing and sticks to his estimate and provides receipts when needed. He never marks up a subcontractor’s price and allows the homeowner to pay the sub directly knowing he isn’t adding his own % markup on top. We highly recommend H&K and will continue to use them for any home project, nothing is too big or too small for them.

When I purchased my home in 2012 Hans and his team were highly recommended by locals in Bronxville, Pelham and Rye.
The first job started with a floor refinishing, huge wallpaper removal and painting project and turned into a great trusting relationship.
Over the next 12 years they renovated my home top to bottom; New windows, exterior painting, kitchen, 5 baths and basement. Two years ago they did a complex build of an external garage and regrading of my property; which included hardscaping, fencing and dry well installation.
