After having a new roof installed on our 1925 house, we were told our chimney was in need of repair and tuckpointing. They were prompt and even though it rained, (they came back the next day, on a Sunday) the work on our chimney was completed as promised.

I needed some masonry work done on my house. The old milk chute needed to be removed and bricked over to match the existing brick. Also, a broken limestone block window sill needed to be replaced. I called HERON and owner, Chris for an estimate. He came out, gave me a good estimate and I hired him for the 2 jobs. He came out the next day and did both jobs efficiently and it matched great. The result is just how I pictured it, you can't even tell there was a milk chute there and the bricks matched perfectly! And the window sill is perfect. He cleaned up and left my home better than how he found it. I'd like to recommend HERON Construction Company and owner, Chris for any masonry work needed around your home, he's your guy. He knows his stuff, great work and decent prices as well is what sold the job.

Chris and his team did a great job with replacing lentils around my windows, repairing bricks due to some of the lentil swelling, replacing a limestone window sill, tuckpointing, and rebuilding part of my chimney! Pricing competitive as well!

We had our front porch rebuilt. Chris and his team was very professional and we were very happy with the completed project. Over the winter we noticed some concerns and reached out many time with no action. We are having a hard time getting him to come back out to our home and talk about the concerns. Originally I would have given him a 5 star review, but his follow up is leaving us frustrated.

Absolutely horrible ppl ! Keep your money . Whoever drive truck EDY 1847 this morning on 94 freeway almost caused an accident all so they could prevent anyone else from advancing in front of them on the freeway ! I had to beep my horn to prevent him from hitting another car in from of me. When that car advance he then drove in between two lanes so no one in the left lane could go ahead to merge . I continued to beep and he refused to move his vehicle to one lane .

A tree fell on the roof and damaged the chimney. We have a friend who is a mason, but his company couldn't take our job, so we asked him for a recommendation. He told us to call Chris Heron. Chris gave us a thorough appraisal of the damage and condition of the chimney, got us a quote right away, and was honest about how he would queue us into his current projects. The crew was professional, did a wonderful job, and Chris came back to do the final inspection and wash. It was such a positive experience and a great price. Thank you, Heron Construction!

Exceptional service! A few of my front porch stairs were loose, creating a walking hazard, specifically for my mail lady. I contacted Heron after seeing all of the 5 star reviews online and I was not disappointed. Once I contacted Chris about the issue, he came to my house within the hour to provide an estimate. But not only did he provide an estimate to repair the failing brick, he also provided a recommendation to repair the stairs using brick and limestone treads for longevity. Needless to say, I went with his recommendation. His team came out, completing the job in one day, and I absolutely love the outcome of my new stairs. Chris and team were great to work with. They did a great job of explaining the work needed and identifying what was not. While working they were really respectful of taking care of the landscape around the house and cleaning up after themselves. The work included replaced lintels, rebuilt sections of the brickwork and tuckpointing; it was high quality and done in a timely manner as communicated. They did a great job matching the existing mortar on my 80+ yr. old home, to where you can barely tell where the work was done. I would whole heartedly recommend them for any of your masonry needs.

Chris did an excellent job rebuilding a corner of my porch and replacing cracked limestone sills and rusted lentils above glass block windows. His brickwork and attention to detail in mortar matching is great, you can’t tell where the tuck-pointing was done - which is saying a lot for a 90 year old house. Overall he was very knowledgeable and good at his craft, I would recommend him to anyone in the area.

Heron performed tuckpointing work on my chimney. There were a lot of areas to cover. The work was performed in a reasonable period of time and is of sound quality.
