We hired HHR to renovate part of our community center, and had a great experience. Aaron and his team were punctual, hard-working, and excellent communicators throughout the entire project. After realizing that our 300+ pound cast iron bathtub was being held up by a waterlogged stub of beam and a kick line of termites, I was ... enthusiastic about finding a contractor. I spent six months trying to find someone who A) wouldn't run screaming at the sight of the project and B) would actually return my dad-blasted phone calls.

A coworker heard me foaming at the mouth about contractors, water damage, and ancient little houses, and said "I know a guy." Said guy turned out to be Aaron Harshaw, savior of decrepit bathrooms. Aaron, Eric, and Spencer (known collectively as Team Awesome) called on Monday, inspected on Tuesday, and started work on Wednesday. They replaced the floor and walls, rebuilt the window and foundation, brought out the utility company to cap a Gas Line to Nowhere, fixed the waterline to the outside faucet, installed a new tub, toilet, and fixtures (and arranged for a porta-potty to be delivered so that we didn't have to desecrate the flowerbeds), and a host of other minor and Definitely Not Minor details that add up to the nicest bathroom I've ever had.

And they did it in just two weeks.

Loved having HHR come out and replace the back deck at my house. Aaron sent daily pictures of the progress, which I loved! Went above and beyond to keep us in the loop about what was going on at the house. If there were any issues, they were taken care of immediately without any hesitation. I've worked with many contractors on my home and others homes in my business. Harshaw Home Renovators goes above expectations just like advertised and promised. Aaron listens intently and delivers. We are very disappointed after choosing HH Renovators to remodel our kitchen. Its been over a year and our project is still not completed. We chose HHR because Aaron assured us HHR was experienced and their work was “upper-end” and “high quality”, and that he would take care of all the details from start to finish.
We would advise not to pay Aaron before completion. When we paid our final payment we had complete trust that he would return and finish our kitchen. We were waiting on some custom cabinet doors and Aaron assured us that he would return to complete the “punch list” of unfinished items when the doors were done. The doors were done in April 2022. In June, Aaron put a note in our mailbox stating that he no longer had time to finish our kitchen as promised and suggested we hire a “trusted handyman” to do the work. We have obtained estimates from a local painter to repair the ceiling, the countertop company, and a cabinetmaker for repairs and completion. We contacted HHR in August with the estimates. Aaron asked that we give him time to respond, and to date we have not received a response.

Harshaw Renovators made a good solid, beautiful deck for us. It will hold up well for years to come. They showed up when they said they would. They went above and beyond to build the deck the way we wanted it. They cleaned up the job site each day and left our yard completely clutter free when they finished.
