I spent thousands of dollars with this company. They were the worse companies I have ever dealt with. Will not keep their word on anything. Broke lights in bathroom and just left. Windows were cracked from sun damage. Would not fix. Went out of business and bankrupt. Open back w different people. Please beware. Their contact was no good. I feel sorry for the senior citizens who try to deal with this company. This is so sad. Just beware people!!!

I had a good experience with Hanke Brothers. They replaced all my windows and a patio door. They installed new siding with foam insulation and made minor repairs. Communications throughout the job was excellent. Working with John W. the window installer and Jerry G. the siding supervisor was a pleasure.

We are very pleased with the window and siding products. Hanke Brothers made the whole process as easy as possible. They were the only company that agreed to come as far north as Leslie Ar. We really enjoyed talking with Jerry and Glen Green. Glen did a fantastic job putting up the siding and cleaning up the trash. Also the window installer did a very good job with the windows. Would recommend Hanke Brothers for windows and siding.

Only company i have ever used and worked through that made my home improvement experience feel like i was apart of their family-oriented company. Owner, himself, frequently visited the job, made me feel as if i was apart of their family and made it a complete-stress free experience. couldnt have asked for a more proffessional, and feel good personal experience and could not beat the quality for the price!

Hanke Brothers did an amazing job on my windows and gutters. They had all 19 windows done in 3 days! And the gutters are amazing. We have a ton of trees around the house and the leaf free gutters are a game changer- especially this time of year!

Remodeled our bathroom by installing walk in shower, great shower until sliding glass door became difficult to slide back and forth, have phoned 4 times to company and sent one email without any response from company to my request for fixing the door, after 2 weeks of no response from them have called a local company for assistance

I contacted a friend before getting my new gutters installed and he encouraged me to go with Hanke Brothers. I am very happy that I made this choice. They were custom made to fit and we couldn't be happier. Our new gutters match our home and have a leaf free system, I highly recommend Hanke Brothers for Gutter Installation.

So I ordered windows with free gutters in February. Gutters installed 4/25/21 and still no windows. Was told it would be 4-6 weeks almost 3 months later. So when they installed the gutters I was expecting to have full gutters front and back of my house only to have 1/2 of the back of my house done so I called them to see why and was informed that that was all the free covered. I asked why wasn't that explained to me prior to installation because who only does half of the house. I understand that the free had stipulations but it wasn't explained that it only covered 1/2 of the back of my house. So when the sales guy finally called me he stated he explained that it would only cover half the back of my house and I stated no sir because I would never agree to only do half the back of my house, needless to stay I will never use them again or recommend their service. Plus I still don't have windows installed.Who knows how much they are going to charge for finishing my gutters. So disappointed ..Cheaper isn't always better. Hopefully when my windows are installed they are good quality and installed properly. Next time I will go with my first mind instead trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.. Believe the reviews

I just want to say when Jason and Matthew came to our door last week it was at the perfect timing. My parents had used them when I was seven years old at our old house. When my dad asked another window company if Hanke Brothers were still in business and the rep from the other window company flat out said “NO.” Low and behold Hanke knocked on our door two days later. What are the chances. Kim Hanke came by and introduced himself and my dad could only remember saying; I remember your commercials on every few minutes. They are the kindest and friendliest sells reps we have ever met. They are in no way pushy like other salesmen and today we met his son in law Mike who has given us an incredible deal on nine windows, gutters you never ever have to clean again and siding. We are “DEFINITELY” going to use Hanke. They have the utmost respect for their clients and they take the time to listen and answer any and all questions. Thank you, Kim, Jason, Matthew, and Mike. It’s hard to find honest hard working companies like Hanke. We appreciate your hospitality.

Hanke Brothers replaced my windows and three sliding doors a little over a year ago. I love the products HOWEVER, there is a flaw. We were having problems with two of the sliding doors that started within one week of putting them in. I am revising my post from several months ago because I was able to finally reach Jake at Hanke who was absolutely incredible in getting my doors fixed. I love Love LOVE the windows and doors so I was very disappointed in what I thought was bad customer service. Jake got everything working for me, follow up phone call and all so I put full faith in this company for the future.

The only reason I gave Hanke Brothers 1 star is that when I tried to give them none it would not let me post my complaint. They sided my home in 2010. I have documentation of the full, lifetime warranty that I insisted on. We have serious issues with the siding up to and including the fact that it is separating in places. I have been trying since April 5, 2017 to get those issues resolved. At their request I have sent them pictures. They have answered the phone every time I've called (at least 6), and always assured me someone would get back to me. That happened one time, in the middle of a work day, wanting to know if I was home AT THAT MOMENT so they could come by. I told that person I would be happy to meet them the next day. He never returned my call, and that is the only time ANYONE ever returned my call. I would not recommend Hanke Brothers to my worst enemy. They will tell you anything to get the job, but they do not stand by their work or their word.

I hired Hanke Bros. to do a full shower remodel for a family member that needed it to be more easily accessible. She had a tub/shower combo that was simply becoming too difficult for her to get into and out of safely. Kim Hanke came out and went over all the options available and we made an order for a walk-in shower.

A few weeks later, our order arrived and was ready to be installed. The contractors scheduled a time to come out and were on time. The only problem was the order was wrong! Wrong color scheme and wrong fixture placement. Unfortunately, this error wasn't noticed until the old stuff had been torn out and the new stuff had gone in. Since the new stuff was functional, the decision was made to leave it in place until the order could be corrected. I put in a call to the main office and was assured that it would be taken care of.

Another sales rep came to my house and re-accomplished my original order. A few weeks later, the correct stuff came in and we again scheduled the contractor to come do the install. This time only one guy showed up (late), did not bring the correct equipment for the job, and ended up taking two days to do the job. When all was said and done, there was damage to the sheet rock surrounding the new shower unit, the fixtures he installed were incorrect, shower rod was installed too low and was crooked. Just overall shoddy workmanship.

At this point you're probably wondering why I'm giving a 5 STAR review. I can answer that question with two words: CUSTOMER SERVICE. After a few back and forth conversations with the main office about fixing the problems, Kim Hanke personally came to my house to see it for himself. Kim assured me that the problems would be taken care of to my satisfaction and they were.

The bottom line is that the Kim took the time to make sure the job was done right and that the customer was satisfied. They made mistakes and then OWNED UP TO THEM. It's an exceedingly rare quality in companies today and that's why they've earned my future business.

Hanke Brother's put in an excellent new obstruction free shower so that my elderly mother in law can even roll in a wheelchair. Obstruction free. My only complaint would be that below where they attached one of the hand rails, they left a hole. It looks as though they started a screw hole and then decided it was lower than needed. The hole goes into the drywall, so I had to put some adhesive (the new kind that hardens by the blue light) to keep the water from entering the drywall. It is below where they connected the handrail, so it is not immediately visible. Not real happy about it, but understand they would not want to lose $$ by putting up a different panel. Also, where the sides connect to the pan is turning a black. No matter how, or what I used, it won't come off. I was told by their man to tear all the sealant off and redo the sealant. Seems to me they did not get it placed on correctly because it can't be cleaned off. The more I try, the sealant comes off but still does not let the black come off. Hanke Brother's put in a beautifully functioning system that we wanted for my elderly mother in law, but leaving a (hidden) hole that allows water into the drywall and not even telling us was a bit unsatisfactory. Also, the seat for her that can be raised up out of the way hits the hand bar cover and after 3 times lifting the seat it put a hole in the seat material. Bad measuring I guess. They should not hit. Sealant to the rescue again. I am having to be a repairman for a brand new system they installed. Happy with the shower, but upset at the mistakes made and not addressed before they left it up to us to find and repair. I did wonder if there was something next to her seat that she could have done to make the hole, but soap and shampoo could not do that and make it resemble an incomplete screw hole mistake. I guess I just got lucky finding the hole in her seat due to placing the hand rail a bit to low, but any higher and everyone would have seen the hole left in the shower wall. Lots of money for non correct work. But as I stated, the rest of the shower is fantastic. I could only say 3 1/2 stars for that work when they had to have known those mistakes. I am NOT ripping out that sealant as they told me to since it was their job to place it correctly the first time. If that is a problem that occurs due to normal use, then I will say I am sorry for that complaint, but the hole left in the wall that they kinda hid is totally not acceptable.
