Hank was professional and thorough. He answered all of my questions and offered some tips to help maintain he home. Highly recommended if you need a home inspection.

Hank did a very thorough inspection, and took the time to explain every detail of the home. The written report was very detailed and was issued promptly.

Hank and his son came in and gave us a very quick inspection. Initially I was very happy with his services. They were quick and efficient and exuded confidence. 6 months down the road, not so much. 90% of our electrical sockets are loose and need to be replaced, we had outside air coming in through the laundry room that was not discovered until a pipe froze and burst and the latest and greatest, we found out the dishwasher has been leaking since we moved in. All of the base cabinets are trashed and there is black mold 2 feet up the sheetrock behind them. We are looking at a $20K remodel that will not be covered by insurance. DO NOT USE HANK DARNELL for ANY INSPECTIONS.

Wonderful! He did a more thorough job than a previous company I hired to inspect a different home. Mr.Darnell saved me a big chunk of money!! The damage he found would have prevented me from following through with my future plans. Recommend his services!! He's in Baldwin City and will go into Topeka (and, assuming areas in between...lol). He not only did a better job, he was also couple dollars cheaper, win-win!

We recently had another terrific experience with Hank, and gained the value of his wisdom and ability to provide helpful ideas about the best means of achieving an outcome we're seeking that we wouldn't have thought of on our own, which this time related to water drainage around our home. This is the 3rd time we've called on Hank for his thoughts, and honestly, every time he leaves we ourselves entirely grateful for access to an articulate and very honest expert, like Hank. Even if you're set on one idea, if he does't think you need to do, and there's a more effective path, he'll let you know and present the alternative options (which could cost less and last longer!) than the option you were considering. He's timely, very affordable for the guidance you get in return. Whenever we consider changes that affect structure and changes to it, we call Hank. We have never been sorry, only wished we'd of called him before we started one or two other projects : ). Thank you Hank for sharing what you know and your integrity.

You do a fantastic job. You need an under study,  a protege to carry that quality of service you provide for homeowners. I don't have many friends buying houses  but I will reference you.

During the inspection we felt like he was knowledgeable about the process. The first day we moved in though, the dishwasher had not been hooked up right and leaked all over the ceiling ruining portions of it. I believe that type of thing would be an easy to spot in a home inspection.

I had a Home inspections done by Hank recently. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all of my wife and I's questions. I felt bad for Hank because I followed him around and asked him hundreds of questions about everything. Hank was very thorough with his inspection. He arrived early to get a head start on the exterior of the home. He explained everything to me and took extra time to show me little things that I did not know how to do myself. Our inspection report was very easy to follow. All around A+ service!

Hank did a very thorough inspection. He not only allowed, but encouraged us to walk through with him as he inspected the property. I tried to be a sponge and soak up all the great information that he gave me. He did not hesitate to get down in a tough crawl space. Well, once we removed the opossum that was nested up at the entrance. We all got a good laugh out of that.

Hank was great! He involved us in the inspection and gave us a lot of detailed information about our house that I really appreciate. His report was thorough and included a ton of pictures.

Our home loan is through the VA which has very strict requirements regarding the type of home we can purchase. Without even telling Hank this information ahead of time, he was very knowledgeable in what the VA expects. This type of expertise should have been something our realtor knew but luckily we were able to rely on Hank to give us accurate information about the home inspection as well as rough price estimates. He didn’t try to sell us on anything; he just offered an unbiased, professional and thorough report. In our experience, this guy is trustworthy and will not waste your time or money.

Hank was very detailed with his inspection and explained everything very well as he was going through the house. Any questions I had, he took the time to stop the inspection and explain it until I understood. The reports were generated within a half an hour. He finished the inspection by explaining the report in detail and made sure no questions remained. 10/10!
