Last year Dan performed a wide variety of tasks for me in my residence, involving small repairs and improvements. They were all things that I can no longer do myself. Every single item was truly A+ work, done to perfection. He was on time, hard working and expert in every skill needed, and a great guy.. Cannot say enough about Handy for Hire! Dan showed up on time and did the job we hired him to do very fast which was installing trim work around some interior doors. While he was here, we also had him fix a leak. He made it clear he wasn't sure if the fix would work, but it did! I would hire him again in a heart beat! Very honest and great with ethic!

Highly recommend - very responsive, scheduled me within a week and upfront about pricing. I hired Dan to install a kitchen faucet and to also help replace an inline water filter to the fridge. He quickly installed the faucet and then took the time to teach me how to change the filter. I appreciate his time explaining it to me when he could have easily just charged me more to do it himself. What seemed at first like a huge plumbing undertaking was a simple fix. He even followed up later sending me an email listing out the exact product and the tool I would need to get the job done. 2024 Dan Cormier is a magician! I had accumulated a list of things to be done, and Dan took care of all of them with his usual skill and care. My squeaky and screechy garage doors (which have been backed into a few times over the past 20 years) are now as quiet as when they were brand new, and I have beautiful new front porch lights installed just the way I wanted them because he asked me questions and explained options before he started the project. He is such a pleasure to work with.

2023 Dan has done many jobs for me, from easy (clean and repaint moldy bathroom ceiling) to complicated (install dog-escape-proof wire fence across uneven ground). He listens to what I want, he makes suggestions, we go over pros and cons, and then he does the work and does it well.

Just such an easy guy to talk to. Fully listened to and appreciated everything we needed and did a good, timely, and fairly priced job. Will use them again easily.

I've used Dan Cormier of HfH for several home repair issues over the years. He is highly experienced, resourceful, attentive, prompt, and efficient. He showed particular resourcefulness for an issue recently that seemed to have no good solution, but relying on his experience, he got a particular part made that allowed him to resolve the issue. Danny replaced all the screens on my screened porch, installed a cat door and did the finish work in my remodeled bathroom when a contractor never finished the job! He always arrived when he said he would and the work was great! He’s very pleasant and his rates are reasonable! I would use him again.

You know how you have various things around the house that need to be fixed and you wish there was a reliable handyman who would come and do them all? Well, Handy for Hire is is just that guy. Nice person, very skilled and determined to fix things. Reasonably priced, too. This is a responsive little business that does what it advertises. I recommend without hesitation. My condo neighbors agree.

We have used Handy for Hire for 18 years. Would use no one else. Consider the owners of this family business friends now. Honest. The work is exceptional, neat, and honestly above and beyond every single time. If you aren't sure who to hire and you are nervous save the stress and simply use this company. I remain loyal to the nicest people and they deserve the loyalty.

I used Dan twice. The wood beneath my sink had warped so he cut it out and installed a new piece. The plumber had to get at the pipe in the bathroom and left a hole that needed to be fixed and he did that in such a way I could paint right over it. The piece of wood at the bottom of the door leading into the garage snapped partially off lengthwise. Figured I'd need to get a whole new one, but Dan used these little football shaped things that one side went into the broken piece and one side went into the piece already there, glued it tight and said not to step on it for a few days. We didn't and hasn't been a problem since. He also came one time to clean the back gutter, which needed a 50-foot ladder. Got up there and discovered I had mesh guard in place, meaning I didn't need to have it done (I'd done the front gutter). So he packed up and left, and there wasn't a charge.
Very nice guy and I plan on using him again when the chores add up.

I hired Handy for Hire LLC a year or so ago (I am writing this in Jan 2023) to build a custom storage rack mounted to the side of my house, to hold several outdoor tools, like shovels, pry bar, post hole digger, etc. Dan Cormier did a great, clean, sturdy job for a reasonable price and in a quick timeframe -- If I recall one day or less. Would definitely recommend him/them.

Dan is a terrific handyman. He will often offer alternate (better) solutions to an issue that we hadn't thought of despite the fact that his solution gets him less revenue. His does his work quickly and it is always high quality. Finally, his rates are very reasonable, so value for cost is extremely high.

The experience was excellent and the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 was that it was expensive. But that may be the going rate for handyman services--I'm not saying the price was unreasonable--and it was clearly communicated to me ahead of time. I gave Dan a complex task of putting my dehumidifier in a fieldstone cavity below my house. He designed a great system for me access it, checked with me about every decision he made, and installed the system perfectly. The work was done on time. I have absolutely no complaints about any aspect of the work.

Dan has done several small projects for us and does great work. He replaced broken closet doors and fixed trim so it looks great, giving us several options and finding creative solutions. He also fixed flashing around intakes and built an access for drain piping. He does qualiry wirk, offers options, and at fair prices. Can't recommend him enough.

Dan is a jack of all trades, he is a creative problem solver and has been a reliable handyman in our home for years. He even built us a live edge table from trees that camp down in our yard! We highly recommend him.
