He was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable.

The crew that came out for the repair was just as impressive. They arrived after I had left for work, and by the time I returned, the job was complete—aside from the fresh, clean look of the roof, you wouldn’t have even known they had been there. Excellent Chimney Flashing Repair by Hammerhead Roofing!!

HammerHead was really easy to work with. I met with several different companies during the quoting process. Their quote wasn't the highest or lowest but definitely competitive and right around the average of what I was getting back from others. The crew that came out to do the chimney rebuild and roof work were great. Professional. Treated the property with respect and cleaned up as if they were never here.

There was a little hiccup with a ridge vent being installed that shouldn't have been but the company quickly got it rectified.

Overall a really good experience and everyone I dealt with was pleasant and professional. There are several Shawns? Seans? Shauns? working there apparently so I never quite knew which one I was talking to on the phone but all were very helpful & friendly nonetheless.

I had a great experience. I went to them to get improved venting since my roof was getting too hot. I called 5 different roofers for quotes, and hammerhead was by far the most knowledgeable about my venting system. They not only added vents but also repaired the venting system that I already have (it was clogged). They didn’t try to upsell me as many other quotes did. When they came to do the job they were courteous and cleaned up after.

After meeting with other roofing companies, one who was doing or did 3 other roofs in our neighborhood we spoke with Shawn from Hammer Head roofing and felt his knowledge, professionalism and no pressure sales talk was a stand out from the others. He listened to our concerns and addressed them with knowledge and was well versed on every detail of the process.
He was the only one who looked at our attic to see if there was proper ventilation. He also told us after inspecting our roof that there was no immediate need for a new one which we liked because he wasn’t trying to sell us something we didn’t need. We chose to put on a new roof because it was 25 years old and before the prices increased.
Going from Shawn to the actual job was seamless, the communication when setting up the work

Great installation of our new roof. Started at 7:45 am and finished by 5:30pm. 1300 sq ft ranch with breezeway and 2 car garage.(who does it in one day!!!) Great work crew. Each and everyone gave 100%. Foreman, Tom, answered all our questions. Explained many steps involved with the job. Our saleman, Shawn, stopped by during the day to check on the progress. Great company to do business with. Got estimates from 3 different local companies. Thought I would do business with a Plainfield Company but Hammerhead Roofing was so exceptional in presentation and explanation of the quote. We chose this Killingly company to replace our 40 yr old roof before we had any issues Sean climbed in the attic and found sound plywood and no problems with our ranch home under roofing. Sean brought out samples and placed them on the roof for our selection. We went to the show room in Danielson and was given an address of a recent job with our selection to view the color. Everyone we encountered with Hammerhead Roofing was professional. The actual installation was extremely smooth. 1300 sq ft ranch w/ 2 car garage was started at 7:45 and done by 5:30. Foreman Thomas, kept us informed of all the steps involved in the process and answered our questions completely on the installation day. The work crew gave 100%. No one was standing around on phones. They each had a specific job and handled it with care and concern. Our Salesman Sean, stopped by the day of installation to check on the progress.

One can always tell when customer service is at the top of a companies agenda, HammerHead Roofing, HHR, is one of those companies. HHR properly diagnosed a recent water leak, ( if you have ever had to track down a water leak than you know how ambiguous it can be) HHR was able to resolve within a week, from first contact. Hammerhead was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Shawn P., the sales rep came out for the estimate and pre-production check. His drive and knowledge is unmatched. He was patient and understanding when I was deciding on my financial route. He was always available when I needed him. The guy went back to the office at 3pm the day before THANKSGIVING to get me my estimate so I could make my decision on who I was using for a vendor. An INCREDIBLE human.
Moving to Sean C., the business man. Sean put together the invoice and transactions were super smooth. Also very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Great work.

Went solar and needed a new roof. HammerHead gave me a great price and worked with the solar company. They did my roof and garage in one day and left no trace that they were there other then my new roof looking great. They even did my small decorative well house so it would match the garage and house without me asking. Would highly recommend them!

We used Hammerhead Roofing to get our roof re-done when we purchased our house. We had no idea what we would be in for since we had just purchased the home, but they handled everything amazingly! Hammerhead did a great job with my roof and skylight. They cleaned up after the job was done. Unfortunately my house got crushed by a pine tree 3 days later. They were able to come back and tarp my roof to prevent further damage. Once my house was repaired, I had them come back and do the job again. I would highly recommend them.

Great workmanship, fast team, much education and experience along with knowledge provided! Sean was my project manager that visited me often and checked up. Glad I inquired information from them versus listening to storm chasers that came to my house and pressed helping us! Only issue/concern we had was the drip edge by gutters that is slightly elevated in spots due to gutters when the site manager came he advised me that’s the reason. Besides that seriously glad of Hammerheads Roofing help in my project!

After getting six estimates to have my roof replaced, Shawn from Hammerhead Roofing was the only one to point out and address issues with the proper ventilation of my attic space. Other contractors told me that the attic ventilation was fine, most didn’t address ventilation at all.
I was impressed by Hammerhead’s internal as well as external communication with me. Everyone at the company was prompt, courteous, and professional. Tony and the crew of 5 roofers showed up on time, impressively worked all day in the heat and had my roof stripped of two layers of old shingles, old barn board and redecked with plywood and new shingles and left my yard spotless all in under 12 hours!

HammerHead is not just a top notch roofer, but also a top notch customer first company. We had quite a bit of wind damage to our homes roof and to the detached garage roof. They did plenty of leg work for me and assisted in explaining to me what really needed to be done, and done right. They are clearly a company that does not cut any corners, and take pride in there work and making sure the customer doesn't get what they want but what the customer needs. They had a crew of 8 people who showed up at 7:30 AM and finished both roofs at 7:40 PM. Showed us everything that was going on the roof like drip edge, ventilation (which ours didn't have previously), and proper weather proofing and freeze edging. They did an incredible job repairing spots that needed extra attention and cleaned up around the chimney with new flashing. When they were done they cleaned the yard so amazingly you couldn't tell that they were even here. Loved working with them from day one. I'd HIGHLY recommend their services.

Gave us a great quote, and amazingly-enough did it all for just as quoted! Surprisingly fast and efficient -- scheduled quickly, and completed on time, as offered. Roof looks great, and the entire jobsite completely cleaned-up -- no one would be able to tell any work was done here otherwise (except that there's a new roof there). Also appreciated the reasonably-priced add-on work -- cleaning the part of the roof we didn't want to replace, removing and replacing our gutter protection system, and re-doing the chimney flashing.

We are new to the area and had no idea who to call when we had a sudden issue with our roof. With the insane amount of rain we have experienced this summer, the skylights in our recently purchased older home decided they could not handle it.... leaks on the second level with every storm and damage piling up. I searched Google for a local roofer with high marks, and called Hammerhead. From the first communication with Sean to the completion of the work, every part of their process and team was 100% pleasant and professional. Nico did not try to oversell me, saying that the roof overall was in good shape, and that just the section with the skylights really needed attention. He gave me options to either repair or replace them, and explained the pros and cons of both. I felt confident in their pricing, and comfortable asking many questions. The job was completed within three weeks after my initial contact with them, and took less than one day to do (they actually had scheduled to come sooner, but rain delayed the job a week). Sean and his team are fantastic. They did a repair on my roof less than 24 hours before a big storm and the job held perfectly. They matched the tiles expertly so you'd never know there was work done. The crew was very professional and cleaned up the area better than it was when they got here. I would definitely recommend.

We had our cedar shingle roof redone on our 200+ year old house by HammerHead. From the start they were great by answering all my questions and concerns regarding material, cost and timeframe. They were the one company that responded quickly to my calls when we were comparing roofers and didn’t try to sell me materials that would have destroyed the look of my antique home. We only needed the front portion of our roof redone and they had no problem with that. The workers who installed the roof were prompt and clean. It was obvious they did their best to keep any landscaping intact. They worked all day and did a great job protecting the roof when a few storms blew through. The day they finished a huge storm came in and everything was perfect. My roof is beautiful and when the back part of our house needs its singles replaced we will definitely be going with HammerHead.
