John did a great job cleaning my gutters. The job was a bit more difficult than usual because my gutters hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time and several downspouts were clogged. John completed the work patiently and meticulously. The scheduling process was also very smooth. I appreciate the service and the professionalism!

They did an outstanding job, and the gentleman who completed the work was incredibly kind and professional. I immediately noticed a significant difference in both the attitude of the team and the quality of their work compared to standard gutter cleaning services I've previously purchased through Groupon.

Most Groupon based companies tend to pressure you into buying additional services otherwise, they either decline the job or perform it poorly. That was not the case here. Gutter Ethics exceeded my expectations, and they are the company I will continue to work with moving forward

Quick automated responses but a bit of delay on execution of services. If you are not in a rush for service, not a problem. This job is weather dependent, so chances of rain will probably delay a bit. John was the technician and called before arrival. The job was completed and, had I not seen him on security camera, (smile John) would have never known he was there. There was no type of debris left around the house or on the deck-spotless! High pressure air and vacuum is used so there is no need for access to outside water. Also no need to remove items from deck. I was not home at time of service, but this is a 40ft TH and they obviously did not have any issues with roof access. Will post before and after downspout “function” after next big rainfall.

Gutter Ethics did a wonderful job. John was very attentive and flexible with what I needed help with. I had active water damage occurring every rain to my rental (tenants didn’t have the gutters cleaned for years apparently), and Gutter Ethics expedited my service. John assured me a full video would be taken so I could see the extent of the damage if any to the roof and brick siding. It was such a relief as I could not be there on site that day due to work. It was a very reassuring feeling to have them done well, and with as much rain as we’ve had this summer I’m so happy - this company saved my sanity.

I had a great experience with Gutter Ethics. I had them out to get a quote for gutter replacement + gutter guards. They came in with competitive pricing and didn't BS me and try to upsell. Not only that but while they were doing the quote they identified storm damage to my roof and said that based on what they see my insurance company should cover a roof replacement. They took tons of pictures and once I submitted a claim and scheduled an adjuster to come survey, Gutter Ethics came out while they were there to ensure they caught all the signs of damage. Justin was an excellent communicator and advocated for me with the insurance company which made that whole process much easier. When they were doing the roof replacement they identified that my plywood decking had deteriorated in some places and showed me evidence of that and explained why it makes sense to replace it now, then they quickly worked up a quote to add that in before they installed the new shingles. They also replaced the attic exhaust fans at the same time. It's now been about 2 years since they did this and everything has been solid so far, except for one of the attic fans has failed...but Gutter Ethics is now working with me to get replacement covered by the manufacturer warranty, so their long-term support is also excellent. Highly recommend them.

I had notice the leak in my roof the morning after a rainy night and they were able to come out same day to fix it. John who fixed my roof was very knowledgeable. He identified and fixed the problem quickly. I really appreciate him coming out on a Saturday and with such short notice. I will definitely be using this company again.

I can give the techs who actually did the work five stars easily. They were efficient, professional and did very good work. I have to deduct a couple of stars for the difficulty I had getting on their schedule. This was a fast job…installing drip edge on my townhouse. When they finally got it done it took 15 minutes. However, it took several weeks to get them to come out after the initial assessment, with a lot of nagging, nudging, reminding and threatening to take my business elsewhere. If you are prepared for that, you’ll get first-rate work from them…eventually.

The gutter cleaning service was great! Very communicative the whole way thru and even slotted me in earlier than expected, which was much appreciated since my downspout was clogged. Also liked the ability to schedule recurring cleanings automatically to prevent future clogs.

I hired Gutter Ethics to clean my gutters on February 21, 2025, and was very impressed with the service. John Lawmaster, the technician who came out, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. It’s rare to see a tech who’s not only skilled but also so professional and courteous.

Today (May 13), after it had been raining all day, I decided to check on the gutters and noticed they didn’t seem to be working properly—possibly clogged again. I sent a text message at 7:56 PM, not expecting a response until the next day since it was after hours. To my surprise, I received a call from the owner just one minute later, at 7:57 PM! He was extremely responsive and said John would be out as soon as tomorrow to take another look.

I used Gutter Ethics and was really impressed. I seldom write reviews but if you need some type of service on your gutters these are the people to call. They are professional and proficient. John called me before he arrived and went work immediately. After he finished I met John and asked him how it went. He went into detail describing the problem and how he rectified it. I was surprised to know that even though I had screens on the gutters there was about 15 years of silt and granules from the roof tiles and that's what was causing the problem. He also resecured the gutter because I had some nails that needed attention. John performed a roof inspection and I'm sad to say that my roof should've been replaced 5 years ago. John took videos and pictures that showed numerous areas that were problematic. He really was a wealth of information. I didn't feel any pressure at all. Even if I didn't use their company it was still evident that the roof needed replaced. Despite the circumstances I really had a good feeling in my gut. This company is the real deal and is a keeper. I paid for quality and that's what I got. I'm really glad that I used Gutter Ethics!

I'm the first to admit I'm a little more impatient than most and typically more critical than a lot too. With that said, I was blown away with the customer service of everyone I spoke to at Gutter Ethics. The technician came out, told me what he was going to do and told me when he was done. Justin the owner took the time out of his busy day to not only contact me once, but twice! To thank me and to go over a little bit of what they encountered when on the roof. He was very detailed and spoke in terms that a non expert could understand. Would definitely recommend.

Justin is always so kind and responsive to any request I’ve made over the years. He went out of his way and was able to fit in a last minute job for us. Melvin did a wonderful job clearing our roof, cleaning the gutters and making a small repair. He knocked on the door to confirm the work he was going to do, and asked if he should leave when work was complete or let me know. I reviewed the work and the area looked pristine! Melvin had bagged all the debris and left the area around our roof spotless. Thank you for being such a consistently excellent company.

The only thing I did not like was having to wait three weeks for the work to get done. But once it did, it was great service and worker was kind and informative.

Quick response, professional job. Very Expensive. When you do an urgent/emergency mitigation like I had for a hole in the roof, make sure you understand the estimate doesn't include any actual repair. I had to call for a repair estimate and it took over two weeks to get one due to their communication system problems. By that time I had used another roofer.

I enjoyed excellent and professional service from this company. This company was actually probably the single most responsive service-based company I’ve dealt with in a very long time. They were always in contact via phone text an email. They showed up on time. They were polite. They documented their work. I did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for gutter cleaning.

Another update: again great service, summer gutter cleaning, if it wasn't for the pictures they took while on my roof of my gutters, I wouldn't have known they had come.

Highly recommend Gutter Ethics! They are as professional and modern of a company as you could expect. From the first interaction, their online customer system, the video recommendations of what they found, the team doing the work and the final follow up on the job, my experience was fantastic. The entire process was top notch and are my go for any roofing/gutter work on my property.

Before choosing Gutter Ethics i received four quotes; 1 quote didnt even need to go up on the roof, another sent me a text with total cost to fix and no description.
