I called to get a quote. When I received a call back the man instantly he asked how much money do I have and how much have I paid another contractor. As I said my account nor the amount I have spent is his business. He then said my money is his business. I then said no it’s not I’m reaching out to you to see if you could come out and give me a quote and we can move from there. He responded with “I don’t work like that” and hung up on me.

Greg is the best of the best. He can be there right away, no hesitation and super fast. I wouldn’t call anyone else

Terrible, unethical, unprofessional, careless.

Wish I could give 0 stars but it was not possible.
He was hired and paid (by the previous owners to my house during our home inspection before the act of sale) to fix the flashings on the roof and inspect and repair any damage (if any damage was found) from the existing flashings.
Mr. Scallan glued 3/4 of ONLY ONE of the four sides of a flashing piece he replaced, leaving his repair work even worse off than it was before he started.
Fast-forward 6 months, and not only was my roof now LEAKING AND SAGGING badly, but the leak (caused my by the unglued flashing) caused the soffit underneath the roof to swell, split and droop down, requiring us to spend double the amount that was originally paid to Mr. Scallan in order to replace it.

To be fair, I contacted Mr. Scallan first to see if he could just come back to repair the damage himself and ( this was only time I was EVER able to speak with him), I was told that his only job at my residence was to replace the flashing, and NOT inspect the roof and he no knowledge of the job because his company does not save all receipts for smaller jobs.

I sent him my copy of the receipt that was provided at the act of sale, (in which HE stated that he replaced the flashings AND inspected the roof and found no problems) as well as pictures of the damage that occurred after he finished his work, as he requested.
I called his office many times to follow up over the course of the next week and a half and left many messages and he REFUSED to return any of my calls.
I had no other option but to contact another contractor and spend the money out of pocket because time was an issue.
After I had the work completed, I even had my realtor help out and try to make contact with him. He told her to have me email the receipt from the new repair work to his office, but after speaking with her ONE TIME, he saved her number and he refused to answer her phone calls or return them as well. I sent documents he requested, waited a week (to give him time to review) and began attempting to call (several times) and email (several times). He still refuses to return my calls and emails.

At one point, I received a call (accidentally) from his personal phone, which I attempted to answer, but he immediately canceled it before I could pick up.
When I called the number back, I was immediately sent to his voicemail and my phone call and voicemail was never returned.

Greg Scallan is a unethical and unprofessional contractor. He does not take time to carefully or completely finish the jobs he was hired to do. He was dishonest on the receipt he provided to his clients. He clearly does not stand behind the work he does, or even entertain the idea of correcting any errors he has made. His customer service skills are completely lacking, because he will screen his calls and emails in order to avoid correcting his own careless work.

I would highly NOT RECOMMEND Greg Scallan ENT., LLC to anyone!
