About the Business
What people say about “Green's Building Supply”?
Customer feedback about the hardware store is largely positive, highlighting the friendly and helpful staff along with a strong sense of community. Many customers appreciate the quality of the products, especially in comparison to larger retailers like Home Depot. However, there are significant concerns regarding customer service, particularly related to key cutting errors and poor communication. Some customers expressed frustration with limited store hours, especially on weekends, which they feel hinders accessibility. Overall, while there are high praises for the atmosphere and service, the serious issues raised in a few reviews suggest that improvements are needed in specific areas.

Friendly, very helpful staff. They usually have what I need. A lot of prices can't beat the big box stores, but I'd rather take my business to a smaller local business when I can.
Employee miscut 2 keys that I paid $29 for
They had every excuse imaginable for it not being their fault. I was refunded the cost that I paid to have the keys cut but only after explaining [ over and OVER] how keys actually work in an ignition switch. They promised me a call back on the replacement fee of the keys that they miscut because of there inability to do what I paid for. I have heard nothing from these liars. I will never give them another cent of my money.
In response to the owner who SCREAMED at me on the phone this morning, any key on a ford vehicle that will insert into the ignition switch will move the seat forward, this is common sense. Also, the ignition switch has a tighter tolerance than the door lock anyone that cuts keys should know this. YOU DID NOT tell me me that the keys may or may not work. The fact remains that this owner didn't stand behind there work, the owner screamed and squealed at me over the phone when I tried to work all of this out. The owner lied to me and the owner is lying on there response to my feedback. I would never recommend this place of business to anyone
A hardware store needs to be open past noon on a Saturday. It's one of the only days a lot of people have to do projects at their home but nope. Let's close it down so you are forced to go to Home Depot and deal with the crowds. Might as well not open at all on the weekend if you can not provide normal working hours.
