A salesman showe up at my door. Very pleasant. Showed me his display of how their paint process works. I had been wanting to re stucco my home for sometime. He sounded legit. He made many promises of work he would "throw in". Gave me a price which was a bit high but for what I thought I would be getting sounded fair. It included ew eaves, a new garage door, new flat stucco, and of course their patented paint. The quote was approx 30,000. I gave him a check of 1,000 for a deposit. They informed me they were bust so the start date wouldn't be for a couple months. I was at no time informed that I had 3 days to change my mind or I would get none of my deposit returned. Peter did everything on a laptop and showed me nothing. My husband of 21 years had recently passed away. He took care of all of the finances. To make a long story short I was advised to wait until his estate was settled. I informed them of my situation. They became immediately rude. They informed me that I would ot be getting any of my deposit refunded. They said I should have them do the job or I would loose my lose $1000. I said ok Coe give me a new estimate with only the paint. Peter is supposed to show up never does. I call the office and am told he has car trouble. He has a brand new Toyota Tacoma. He also never even called to inform me of his so called troubles. He comes the next day. Still trying to convince me he's on my side and trying to sell me his bs pitch. I tell him to simply give me the estimate for the paint only. It takes him 15 minutes to look st me and tell me his price is 29,850 dollars!!! My home is 850 square feet. This is with none of tbe other things that were included in the previous estimate. He told me prices have gone up. He messed with the wrong homeowner. He can keep my $1000 he literally stole from me. I am not even close to being done with Greenliving. I will spend whatever it takes for them to stop robbing and taking advantage of people. These people are crooks and liars. Stay away at all costs. They are the perfect definition of how not to run a business.

I am VERY worried right now.
My parents are older and need a new roof, this company knocked on the door and pushed a quote.
My parents said what they wanted - specifically mentioning plywood. They got the quote, signed, and work started immediately. HOWEVER, when this company found the rotting wood they completely STOPPED work and said wood wasn't in the contract.
Just our luck, it's been raining for a week now WITH NO ROOF ON OUR HOUSE. The home has been in our family for 5 decades now! They put some really pathetic plastic tarping on the roof, but the living room furniture and carpet are getting wet. My dad went up and tried to put better tarping. He also tarped up the inside of the living room-- work he should not have to do at his age. Apparently the company is going to do the wood at cost, but now they have to wait for it? I just read reviews of the roof leaking after their work is done. I'm writing this review to warn people of what can happen. Will update this review when we see the outcome.

This company installed an entire roof and new drain on my property. The owner and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable.

They did an extremely good job at fixing my roof and even fixed other odds and ends for free. Great communication and really friendly. I would highly recommend

We hired this company for Window Installations and they've been stringing us along for almost a year now. The contract was made April 2021. The initial delay was window measuring and then, delays with manufacturers. The last thing we were told was the installation was confirmed Feb.26th. Which of course, didn't happen. They called on Friday, Feb. 25th at 4:45pm to let us know the windows didn't come in. Of course they didn't. They said they would call us on Monday, of course they didn't. They claim we cannot have our $1,000 deposit back because it's past some deadline, yet they have failed to comply with their deadlines over and over again. I wouldn't recommend as they show no accountability or make any attempts to rectify this situation.

We purchased solar panels from Green living almost a year ago and have been having issues with the solar production of our panels. It appears our panels were only working efficiently for the first month after they were installed. I contacted green living about the issue almost 2 months ago, sharing Edison statements for the past 10 months that prove our panels are not producing as needed. They have been telling me for the last 2 months that a 3rd party will be reaching out to address the issue. But no contact so far.
When we purchased our panels we were told that Green Living would handle and repairs or issues themselves for the life of the panels. Which doesn’t appear to be the case. We are unsatisfied with the customer service at green living, being that I have sent multiple emails about our disappointment with no response. We have not seen the saving we were promised with our energy bill being the panels are not performing as expected. Pretty disappointing as this was a huge investment.

An ordeal that started in April of 2021.
Had some rotting wood on the eaves. One of their door to door rep came by April 2021 and I told him yes I been wanting to replace and repair eaves around the house. Salesman was quick to show up within a few days.
-Next thing I know I have to replace the flat roof on the back part of the house because water was sitting where I had 20 solar panels installed in 2014.
- then it’s $300 PER panel removal and re-install. That’s $6000 already
-then it’s this top notch quality roofing material with great warranty they promoting (warranty which I still have NOT received despite 4 calls to the office 6 months after completion)
- then after peeling the flat roof opened they decided I needed some more wood. So another $2000 of which 1/2 the materials not used and not bought either.
- back room roof if about 35’ by 15’
-took a few hours in one day to take old roof off
-left it exposed for a few weeks because material not ordered yet…..why ripped off in first place. After I called to enquire why roof exposed to elements for so long, they sent someone to cover it in tarp.
-communications were famously minimal. Salesman don’t follow up because it’s up to the manager assigned . My manager was Jin, who don’t follow through either and I get different calls from different ladies at their work place telling me different start dates and I took off work to wait for them.
-I showed up at their office in Torrance and asked what’s going on.
- the accounts lady said they have many changes in staffing. Ok give them some slack
- roofer came and job done in one day. Roofing inspector came same day to inspect and said wow that’s fast
-pictures included are the mess they left behind despite their promises of taking care of clean up after their mess. It sat there for a month
- pictures also included said clean up guy taking our ladder after we told him that’s ours (on camera can see us telling him before we left for work) and We went to work and saw this on camera . The other guy was the inspector heard on camera saying wow the roofing job done was fast.
-clean up guy took everything left over unused to his truck BUT not clean up.
-it was an ordeal dealing with this company. No one came to walk over the completed project with us.
- lots of promises and good friendly salesman who can sell but poor communications after that. The sun contractors they used like the solar company and roofing are good people. The office NO.
- would not recommend them to friends, families, neighbors nor colleagues
Oh yes, still did not receive any word from Anders (many positions, lost count what he does) regarding warranty .

After meeting with 2 other roofing companies and received quotations, I spoke with Greenliving and asked for a quote. 2 Greenliving representatives came by as scheduled and after a thorough inspection of the roof, both reps sat down with me and explained the scope of work quotation in detail and answered all questions professionally and accurately. They answered all questions and gave me a quote that represented accurately what I had asked to be done. Greenliving's reps were the only ones of the 3 companies to take the time to sit down and discuss all options and a detailed description of the quotation and what I could expect. Along with the very good communication support and service, the quotation was the most competitive of the 3.

The crew came out on the day scheduled and worked steadily, professionally and completed the project on time. I had a question regarding amount of fascia boards that I had understood to be installed and after a quick discussion with the foreman, they installed the additional fascia boards at no additional cost and still completed the project on time.

The first rain came about a week or so after the work was completed and we found a leak in the garage roof. The crew came out the next day after I contacted Greenliving and repaired the area the was leaking immediately. I believe the crew actually repaired a larger area than necessary but I appreciated that they went the extra mile to fix the problem and honor the warranty.

All in all, I felt that all the Greenliving personnel that I had contact with did a great job and I would recommend them without hesitation.

Austin is a great person and professional sales person, I am so happy with my house results. He always keeping me posted about the job.

Been dealing with this company now for over a year and a half for my roof to be completed properly. All managers I have spoken to from Dan, Derek, Jimmy, Carmen, and Jin have given me every excuse from the contractor being poor and they are sueing him to blaming it on previous managers there. We are now in dispute with paying for the remaining due for our roofing project. They will lie and make excuses and than ignore you. Please be aware as I don't want anyone else being ripped off by this company. These are just a few pictures of the work they didn't do. They replaced rafters that were not damaged and left damaged ones. Jimmy told me I could fix them myself.

Had the solar/roofing done on my house in 2017. They never had the final inspection done and the permit is now expired. Paid $250 to renew the permit and had the inspector come out myself because Green Living has been unresponsive and unwilling to finish their work. Inspector said the never labeled the conduit and never put the screen on the sides or the solar panels so it failed inspection. I have been told more than ten times over the past few weeks that a manager would call me and I have never heard from one and get put on hold until the line disconnects when waiting on hold for one. I will be reaching out to the BBB regarding this issue and will be speaking with my attorney as well. I have an architecture plans done for the remodel of my house but cannot submit the plan until this final inspection is approved. Would 100% no recommend this company and would find one that actually cares about their customers when doing a roofing or solar installation.

Drew came out to provide a quote. I was told that they are the largest roof installers in the so-cal region. Provided a rough draft with the highest quote I have received across about 30 different competitors. The draft was more like some numbers on a white paper, starting with a very high number, adding discounts and reducing the numbers at every level, finally ending in the highest quote I ever received. I asked three times if he would be sending me an official quote. No quote in my email about 60 hours later nor any follow-up.

The management of this company leaves a lot to be desired. They are not responsive. They did not respond to a service need I requested. The exhaust fan in the kitchen, the fan tube was bent in the process of the roof installation and the fan is jambed/stuck. I called and and spoke with the office manager (Jeremy) and the Salesman (Ryan). Both gave me lip service. After the initial conversation, I received no more phone calls. There is still monies owed to finish the contract, which are being held back until the repair is processed. It has been 3 months since the job was completed, with no response. I do not expect that they will ever respond. The local company changes Office Managers , it seems monthly. I do not recommend this company in any way, shape or form.
Although the work team who installed the roof did an excellent job. The office management is not up to par. If they solicit you, please, do not sign a contract. GREENLIVING will not follow up on their contract or warranty. I am glad the installation team did a great job, so that I never have to call this company again.

Yesterday a sales person came to my door and asked if I was interested in having my house painted due to visible fading and some stucco damage. Normally I would say No to door to door sales, but since I had just been thinking it might be nearing time to have stucco repaired and house re-painted, I said Yes.. The next day, Ryan showed up at agreed time. He first inspected the exterior paint and did some measurements. Afterwards, he gave me a very thorough overview of the TexCote process, explaining the step to step details and showing me photos and samples. He answered all my questions and made it easy for me to understand the process. As this process happened on me very unexpectedly, I am not ready to commit today without further reviewing my options and finances. Regardless of my future decisions which will be based on multiple personal & financial factors, Ryan's presentation was very impressive and I would recommend giving GreenLiving a chance to quote your project. They were very thorough and professional which I will take into consideration when I am ready to commit to this project.

I would definitely recommend Green Living, they did an amazing job!! Keith was very professional, he took the time to thoroughly explain the process of replacing my roof with me and my wife. I was very reluctant to move forward as I've had several bad experiences with other contractors but Keith made us feel very comfortable moving forward with the project. We had several quotes that were cheaper but I did not want the same experience we had seen in the past with poor quality. Jimmy and Carmen were fantastic, keeping us updated with the entire process. The crew went above and beyond what was promised and I could not be happier with the end result. I reccomended greenliving to several friends and family members and I highly reccomend these guys for any remodeling. They are top notch!!

This company and every crew that works with it,is one of the Best...there may be some, some where..that are just as good..but you won't find any better..anywhere. I am so pleased with the work they did..new stucco and paint..and it was not an easy job because of the condition of the house, they even fixed a broken pipe and primed and painted my front door. I reached out to Green Light Roofing to replace my parents roof and David was my contact throughout the project. I am a tough customer and expect a very high level of customer service for a good price. David is exceptional and handled the project with professionalism and pride the entire time. From start to finish - permits, timeline, cleanup surpassed expectations. Any follow up items were dealt with quickly and correctly and David is a tremendous asset to the Green Life Roofing company. Ask for him and you won’t be disappointed!

Chris and Eli came in and did the presentation! Amazing presentation, guys were extremely nice. They did inspection but unfortunately I wasn’t able to move forward with them. Chris helped so much but I could only pay for projects cash. I HIGHLY SUGGEST TO CALL CHRIS AND GREENLIVING TO GIVE YOU AN ESTIMATE! ABSOLUTELY FREE! NO COMMITMENT!

I have a historical home on the strand in hermosa beach. I had multiple days during the holidays and went to Owens corning website looking for a reputable contractor as my dad was very happy with his roof in Detroit. They recommended platinum dealer Greenliving as I was required in Los Angeles County to get a cool reflective roof. Tim Harrison came out during the holidays even though their offices were closed and was able to temporarily tarp so there wasn’t further damage. They installed the roof in five days at the first of the year and I added V Lux skylights for additional light and ventilation. Thanks again Tim and greenliving.

I had a roof inspection done after my roof leaked due to the rain. The process is pretty good Ryan came out and gave me an estimate. Not sure if I can afford it just yet but I was very impressed with the process

I was referred to green living from s friend that got their roof done. They came out gave me an estimate on my roof and I have to say process was unique to say the least. Dan was the rep and he represented the company well. Not making the move yet but maybe later next year

I called green living for an estimate on paint and windows a very nice man David came out showed many different color options gave me great advice on my windows making them energy efficient and a wonderful price. I moved forward with them I love the outcome I’m ready to show my house off too the neighborhood and family thank you Green Living!

I called green living for an inspection my roof was leaking. They went on my roof and took pictures of the damaged area. They showed me some options and I went with purchasing an entire roof. The price was decent but the quality of the materials was the best. Took a couple of weeks but my new roof is amazing. I will definitley consider hyphen for future projects

STAY AWAY!!!

We signed up for a new roof and HVAC in 2017. Sales pitch was great! But the scheduling and the actual work was a nightmare. 2 years later, we are STILL dealing with problems. Some issues we had:

- Roof was not done properly and water POURED into new remodeled bedroom during raining season , damaging floor and closet doors. They sent out a rep who didn't realize his own company has done the work and stated himself the job was not done correctly. Once we informed him it was Green Living that had completed the work, suddenly, he said, "Oh, well, there are different ways to do this so it's ok, just needs a little fix." Took 2-3 times for them to come out and fix it right.

- Noticed damage to living room wall (bubbled paint), and discovered it was water damage due to incorrect sealing in the arctic of the the new AC. Entire wall had to be redone. Drywall was done HORRIBLY! Had to hire separate contractor to fix.

Called MULTIPLE times to speak with this manager, and that manager, and then schedule and reschedule. I don't know how they are still in business. I do NOT recommend them. Too much money, too horrible service, not enough integrity.

Green Living applied a Tex coat paint to my house after having a bad stucco job by another contractor. The paint has a finish just as if you had applied a new coat of stucco. Amazing product. They finished Two days ahead of time. If, I needed any changes, no problem. The workers were there to do a good job. The quality of work was very good, they were neat, the office worker Joana was outstanding. The entire staff was very professional. I would use this Company again and definitely recommend this company.

Chris & Dan came over to do a roof inspection. Even though the roof did not need immediate repairs, they were very detailed oriented explaining to me how the roofs are installed, pointed out some areas of concern and provided me with a fair estimate should I decide to replace it in the near future. Very honest, knowledgeable and I felt they care for the customer above sales.

Just had an inspection of our roof by David Schubert. Great review and education on the importance of ventilation. We have some years left with our current roof but will call Green Living again when the time comes. Thank you for the curteous visit. Cathy

Amazing people so I happened to be driving by and saw all of their ads in front of their building so I stopped in they were courteous and very nice the reason I stopped by was I had had one of their people stop by my home offer me an inspectionon my roofthey were courteous clean-cut however due to so many scams I said no but when I seem to have drove by it I remember the kids had been by the house as it happens in all this rain I have a leak so I walked in no one looked at me funny no one treated like I was from the moon any who they came out I had a small leak at no charge they gave me a tarp prior to pitch good energy so far so good on time courteous project mngr knows what his doing (my son says Soo lol)

UPDATE: I have spoken with Green living and received an apology for all of the inconvenience and stress. I need to specify that they did a great job with painting the house. They were very careful with their work and took all the steps to prime the house before painting. They covered all the windows/doors/fixtures so no paint would end up where it isn’t supposed to be. It was a three day process. Very efficient. Very good work.

My issue is this: I am a surfer and my family had our house painted and fixed up this past week. Friday, when the job was completed, my 9ft surf board went missing... naturally I jumped to it being stolen. I tried to call the company many times and speak with them personally about this but THEY'RE CLOSED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.

Sunday my neighbor pointed out that the painters thought the only logical place to move my board was ON THE ROOF. Out of sight. To bake in the sun (which is bad). For days. And not tell anyone. Then leave. (because against a wall in the shade is an outlandish option obviously). Moral of the story: If anything of yours goes missing check the roof before you freak out.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my Mom in Anaheim, CA. She’s so excited about her new roof, but still doesn’t know how to use a computer to write it herself!

She told me that she loved working with her salesman, Greg. He had been incredibly patient and informative when answering her questions, responsive to all phone calls and emails, and was just amazing throughout the entire process.

Initially she was nervous and overwhelmed, not knowing what to expect. Greg had been thorough and detail-oriented when educating her about the features and benefits of the Owens Corning system.

She just loves her new roof and wants me to relay the message. Thanks for taking such great care of my mom, Greg with GreenLiving!

The work looks great and was done in a neat & timely manner. The workers acted professional and were very polite. I highly DON'T recommend the PACE financing option. Full lending details are not disclosed and there are many fees added. Also, you can not pay it off in full until 4-6 weeks after they file a lien on your property with your county. We were very unhappy with this loan policy as we had wanted to avoid this action. When I asked CalFirst to show me where in the contract it states a payoff could not be made right away, they said, "It doesn't." Do your best to avoid financing this way because at the end of the term + fees you pay almost double the initial price!
Update: There is a crack line about 3 ft long. Called this company and it's a fax machine. Called cell of one of the managers, David, and he no longer works there and advised us to contact manufacturer then disconnected the call

Green Living just painted our home with their amazing Coolwall System. Our home now looks fantastic! We had mismatched paint in various places around the house and chips and cracks. The salesman AJ really knew the product well and Green Living warranties that it will not fade, chip or peel for as long as we own our home. We were convinced. The team was at our home within a few days of signing the contract and finished the job in just 5 days.

I would like to Thank AJ for his professional and kind assistance in assessing my roofing needs. He helped arrange for a price that was affordable to me. He answered all my questions. I am looking forward to completing the work through AJ.

We had our windows replaced with Green Living CA late last year and they look amazing! We were so happy with their professionalism, promptness and punctuality. We had a broken window in our daughter's room that needed to be replaced ASAP! It was great working with this company. Highly recommended!!

I live and work in Torrance and try to support local businesses. I had to replace the windows on my home and I called a few local companies for quotes. The first couple of companies that came out were priced higher than I thought they should be. Green Living was the 3rd company that came out and I am glad that they did. Their representative David explained very thoroughly the benefits of their windows and he gave me a fair price. I felt that they were best suited to handle replacing all of my windows. I signed up with them that evening. The job was done and the house looks great. They kept to their schedule and more importantly to their word. I will have them out when I need my roof replaced.

As for this companies professionalism (cursing), honesty (contact issues), reliability (3 start dates & no-shows), quality of work (with some of the contractors, not all) and the turf and it's quality that they "installed"; well, if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. So, this is where I end my review. But on a positive note, again, our roof looks AMAZING!

I was recently elected president of my HOA and was faced with the daunting task of finding window replacements for all twenty of our townhouse units. As a matter of course we requested 4 different quotes and at the end of the process the board unanimously agreed to go with Green Living. Not only were we most impressed with their professionalism and window quality but their pricing was very competitive as well.

The entire project was completed within a couple weeks and we did not receive a single complaint from any of the twenty residences, a new record! Thank you Green Living for your top to bottom professionalism, I look forward to doing business again in the future.

I must say they have been the most helpful contractor my wife and I have ever used. We had a roof issue that we knew about and asked for their help. Not only did they do a thorough inspection with photos and great explanation of all our options, but they made it easy to accomplish.

We where used to having to pay out of pocket for all repairs done to the house, or put it on a credit card if you are lucky enough to find a contractor that excepts them.

Turns out they have great financing options. Even some that utilize the PACE program. The rates where so good we decided to do everything on our wishlist: Windows, Stucco Repairs, and our Roof.

The cherry on top was that all the products we chose where energy efficient.

Don't waste your time calling around. The buck stops here. Great value! Very professional. Amazing quality.

We are very happy with our new paver backyard thanks to Green Living and our salesman Ricardo who made it easy to visualize the colors and design but gave us a great deal and payment option that I didn't know existed in my area. Ricardo checked on the job regularly ( took about 4 days). We were very impressed with the crew and their attention to detail. My pavers job was for our backyard pool area and it came out exactly the way I wanted. Now aim proud of hosting parties or events unlike before. I will definitely recommend friends and family for future events and will be working with this company in my own future projects.

Great company! First off the bat I was looking for a reputable company that would swap my old, rotten, and infested wood windows with some energy efficient windows. Of course i needed to see my options and see how much window construction cost. After spending a good four months looking into windows, i knew what i wanted on my home and started calling contractors for estimates. Soon enough one of there sales reps came over and informed me on different types of windows and gave me the pros and cons. He gave me an offer that i could not refuse, and he even added a beautiful bay window for free! There windows are the best of the best! Not to mention there crew was on time and always left everything clean not like other contractors that leave a mess get there check and get on there way! Tim was also extremely detailed with the process and was very professional! Great company, i would definitely recommend them!

I just recently had a new roof installed on my home. I have to say I ended up very pleased with Danny from Green Living. I'd been searching for a good contractor for quite a while and after 3 estimates, I decided to balance quality with price and Green Living became my choice. After dealing with the issues I had with previous contractors, I was very skeptical and nervous about working with a new company. Most of my issues with previous contractors were due to issues never being resolved, and me not being able to get in touch with them after the job was complete.

I can't say the job went PERFECT... I did have a few concerns that arose and as a homeowner, many of you may be able to relate when I say it was very hard to hold back these concerns during the process. However, every time I had an issue and voiced my concern to Danny, he either addressed it immediately, or explained it would be taken care of at the end of the job.

I was beyond impressed to find that every promise he made was kept. Everything I considered an issue was completely taken care of to my expectations, and my roofing project is now complete.

The roof not only looks beautiful, but my home has cooled down quite a bit due to the way in which they ventilate the attic. I am very happy with the end result, and I will be going straight to them next time I need work done in my home.
