My husband found Noah and Green Whale Construction through a Google search. I've been wanting to get my kitchen remodeled for several years. There were many things falling apart and given my business is centered around food and cooking healthy food at home, the use, function and look of my kitchen is essential for my livelihood. That said, I could not be without a kitchen for an extended period. So, time was of the essence. Through a series of meeting and careful project planning, Noah and his team guided me through picking out the right materials, looking at cost and lead-times upfront before demo started. Early January, we moved into a small short term rental and they got to work. In just two months, they gave me my kitchen back. Kind of a miracle on Orcas Island in the middle of winter. It is not only my kitchen but my DREAM kitchen. There were a few loose ends that they tied up with minor finishing work, but my kitchen was fully operational which minimized the impact the remodel had on my business. This was a challenging task in many ways due to dimensions and constraints of an eighty plus year- old Orcas family home.
