The owner came out the same afternoon to repair a leaking pipe in the wall. He did an awesome job. It was a Friday afternoon. No other plumbers would come out! He saved us tons of money and damages that could’ve occurred if the leak wasn’t repaired. He’s the best!

Greekz accommodated my plumbing emergency when no one else would. They prioritized my house's access to water when I could have had none, then came back to finish the repair in a professional manner. Highly recommended.

The job was quoted for me and the price was fair. My call and texts were returned in a timely manner. My leak is fixed. All good.

How this company has such great ratings on Google is beyond me. He must be writing them in himself. He overcharged up for the smallest leak. $100 for the Initial call (which should have gone back into the rest of the bill since he actually did work and didn’t just come out to look at something), $200 to LOOK for the leak, $300 to FIX the leak, and then another $200 to move our toilet and put it back on which took all of 5 minutes and did nothing but we got charged for it. In total we paid over $700 for 2 hours of work. I asked for a breakdown of hours worked and materials used and he said he goes off of a “book” for pricing (which isn’t a thing) and that he charges a base rate of $225 an hour!! Nowhere on line does it say this and I find it really convenient that he doesn’t disclose this information before hand. He also didn’t give me a price or an estimate before he did the job. When the job was done, instead of giving me a bill right then and there, he told me he had to go home because he was so tired, but would send me an invoice. Now I see why he did that. He wanted to send this outrageous invoice and not be able to look me in the eye and talk to me about it in person. When he did end up sending it, he keep telling me that I had to pay it NOW. We will never be using him again.

On another note, he has two different yelp pages. One on each side of the island. One of them has decent reviews and the other one has terrible reviews. I think he has been messing with his Yelp account so that only the one with good reviews shows up. The one with bad reviews has more recent ratings, which All state the same thing. He overcharges, and is not very professional.

We recently had a plumbing issue that required non-emergency but prompt attention. Stephen answered our call, came the very next day at the appointed time. He was very cordial and professional. Greekz Plumbing took care of our plumbing need.

I'd like to add that we've had several other plumbing issues over the many years we've been in this area and I've been disappointed with the other local plumbing services.

Steve is an amazing plumber and a great person. My water heater was beeping incessantly and no matter how many buttons I pushed, it continued. Had a problem with my kitchen sink . Called Stephen of Greekz plumbing and he quickly responded. He was able to resolve all of my issues in a timely manner and fair price. I would use him again with any plumbing problems.

Called at 9 am th 3 if July with water line broke affecting 2 homes. Was here by noon and promptly repair and to come back and finish it so won't have the problem again. He is now the go to guy for all plumbing needs for property.

We were very lucky to have found Greekz Plumbing! After numerous unanswered calls to plumbers closer to our home on the east side, we decided to give Greekz a try; Greekz’ polished website contains numerous positive reviews and clearly describes the owner’s professional credentials, areas of expertise and means of contact. On our first call, Stephen Bokolas, the owner, answered the phone - to our great surprise! Even though we are sixty miles from his Kona location, Stephen agreed to replace our very long, old broken water line. After sending photographs of our terrain and trading several emails, Stephen was able to provide a job estimate. His schedule allowed him to start work the following week. We set a date and Stephen called while on his way prior to his punctual arrival. Work started immediately and before day’s end, the most difficult excavation had been completed. The following day, he and his helper arrived with high quality materials, finished the excavation and laid the new sleeves, lines and fittings. Having worked professionally with numerous piping contractors in the past, I have never seen a more focused, precision oriented, organized and efficient team (no lunch breaks here!). We thought the job would take three or more days but was finished in only two. No leaks and a new water line that will last for many years - and all for a reasonable price. Highly recommended; definitely the best plumbing outfit on our Island!

I tried calling several plumbers from a Google search. Stephen noticed my missed call and called me back. Stephen was very responsive when our water regulator broke the day before. He came to Waikōloa the same day as our call, even had the part in his truck, provided a quick quote, tested the water pressure, fixed it very quickly, set it, and tested it again. We were able to go on vacation worry free the next day. I am amazed at the quality of service and professionalism he provided and highly recommend his services.

Stephen is my personal hero! I called multiple "24/7 emergency" plumbers and either got no answer or they weren't available. Stephen took my call right away and was at my house in an hour to fix my broken shower and get my main water valve turned back on (much to the neighbors' delight). I called on a Sunday because of a broken hot water heater. The call was answered immediately response time was quick, water heater was replaced within 2 hours and we were up and running. He was clear with price so no surprise later. I would highly recommend.

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday he was responsive and willing to take care of the leaking water heater when other plumbers did not even return my call. He was prompt, professional and thorough in his work.

Stephen was awesome. He came within an hour and not only fixed the leak in my wash machine valve. He installed new hoses, new valves and fixed a leak in my outside faucet. Our experience with Greeks Plumbing was excellent. Stephen was prompt, polite, and thorough. The clogged toilets problem was more complicated than originally thought, but he finished the job and cleaned up after himself. The experience was so good, we’ve asked them to provide a quote for updating our existing plumbing system, as it is 60 years old and rusting out.

He replaced our water heater and explained everything in detail. We had hot water going in half a day, way sooner than expected in Kona. Very communicative, honest, and knows what he's doing. We are renting a condo in Waikoloa Village on the Big Island while we complete a remodel on our own unit nearby. We arrived on Monday, August 30th and in using the toilets and sinks, noticed that sinks would back up and toilets were slow to flush. We didn't think much of it until around 8:00 PM on Friday when one and then the other toilet wouldn't flush at all. No problem I thought and with plunger in hand, went to work on the toilet in the master bedroom. I then heard from the other bathroom a rather desperate and slightly unsavory few words and rushed to see what was up. Debris and other material was backing up through the tub. Next I went back to the master and opened the shower door. Disgusting and gag worthy to say the least. What to do next so late on a Friday. Called the owner, who had me call her maintenance lead. Was asked to describe the situation, which I did and was told "it sounds like an association issue". Was asked to hold tight while he contacted the condominium association. A few minutes later the nighttime security showed up to let us know they were trying to reach a 24 hour plumbing service provider. Enter Stephen and "Greekz Plumbing". Stephen introduced himself and asked a few questions... he mentioned that he had already checked the final clean-out and there was not an issue there.
He then asked, if I knew where the other clean outs were, I apologized noting that we are short term tenants. He understood and asked if he could come in? He removed his shoes to have a quick look around and was in and out quickly. He brought in the necessary equipment and systematically went about his business, flushing the drain system from one end to the other. He was very efficient and courteous throughout the process. He then tested the system and let us know all should be in working order. He tidied up be removing his equipment and wiped down the floors where he had been working inside the unit. He also cleaned most of the debris that came up through the tub and shower drains, which was not expected, but very much appreciated.

The service provided by Stephen and Greekz Plumbing was excellent under the circumstances, and I would recommend this company to anyone that is in need of plumbing services. I hope we will not need this type of service again but as a new property owner on the Island of Hawaii I have added Stephen and Greekz Plumbing to my list of contacts, just in case - Thank you Stephen for your expertise and professionalism.

Stephen came to our rescue again!! Our pipes backed up again on a Sunday evening. Again Stephen was the only one to pick up my call. He used his camera and his hydro jet snake to clear our pipes. He also took the time to explain to me about replacing the iron pipes that we have. We will most definitely be calling Greekz plumbing to help us with the replacement . After calling a few plumbing companies Stephen was the only one who called back. He responded after hours to our call and we were able to schedule an appointment. Pricing was reasonable/fair and explained before hand. Took his time to assess and diagnose the problem. Identified cause of pipes/water not heating. He also answered all questions and concerns regarding plumbing issues such as water pressure and heat. He explained the cause of the issue and showed us what to do in the future. Appreciated the quick and fast response.

This guy is extremely unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment with him on a preceding Thursday for the next Monday, since he stated this was his next availability. He never showed up at the scheduled time on Monday, & when I called him, he acted like he didn't know who I was, & completely forgot about the appointment. He stated that he would head over immediately after I called him. He never shared any pricing with me upfront, & I kick myself now for not asking him, but who performs work without covering pricing first? I had him complete a simple camera/video inspection of my toilet drain line. He performed unauthorized work, including cutting a whole in my kitchen ceiling, & is now trying to charge me $1,100. To add further insult to injury, he never even provided me with a formal report on his findings. When I followed up with him on this issue, he said he does not write reports, & doesn't have any experience in working with insurance companies. Again, he was hired just to perform a camera/video inspection. I would highly recommend that you do not hire this company/guy to do any work for you. I regret that I did.

I was contacted by Greekz Plumbing on Friday, 7/9/21 and he agreed to settling out this issue by having me make payment for only the camera drain line inspection, which is what I had hired him for and authorized him to perform the work on. I had offered this initially, and he rejected it, but then contacted me on Friday, 7/9, to inform me that he would accept this payment to settle out this dispute. I made the payment of $568.93 on Friday, 7/9, and now consider this dispute settled.
