After watching them replace my neighbors roof and work late to get the new roof on before rain came. I decided to get a quote to put sides on a pole shed I had built. The quote was very reasonable and Mr. Gonzalez and his crew worked in extreme heat to get the job done. I made a few changes along the way but still felt the overall cost was very reasonable. He and his crew were efficient, professional and courteous. Their attention to detail was well liked. When the job was complete the job site was clean and our pole shed looked great.

Gonzalez Roofing was amazing! We had a leaky ceiling right before the Christmas holidays and we were in fear that we would have to fork out a ton of money right before the holiday. Gonzalez showed up the same day we called, explained what needed to be done, provided an estimate that was SO reasonable and was at our house the next day to complete the work! I am so thankful that we found them - I highly recommend them and will use them again when I need a new roof.

I was faced with losing a buyer for my Mother's house because they required that the roof be replaced before closing 1.5 weeks away. After discussing this with Dagoberto (Owner) he shuffled his schedule a round and was able to accommodate this crazy schedule and pulled this off for us. They even worked Saturday and Sunday to make up for time lost because of rain. They were very responsive with great communication throughout. They did a very professional job and I and the new owners were very pleased. The owner is a great person makes sure that his customers needs are met. I would highly recommend to anyone.

These guys are great. Price quote was very fair and reasonable. Our home has some years on it, They were able to tear off the old asphalt shingles, install a new metal roof. It looks amazing. Where to begin? This team did a significant amount of work on my home, and from the beginning to the end, it was an incredible experience. This is usually so stressful, but it was so smooth and their aim was to be sure we were happy with the work! I am very particular and they exceeded my expectations! They also repaired, replaced inside tongue and groove ceiling as well as added the most beautiful porch! I am sharing pictures but they don't come close to doing it justice! The jobsite was cleaned, the team was professional, punctual, and I cannot say enough about the quality craftmanship! I would hire them again, without hesitation! There was a significant storm that caused a great deal of damage to houses in this area, and they found a way to help everyone that needed them. So impressed and so thankful!

Mr. Gonzalez completed an inspection and new roof installation. In addition he also completed drywall damage in my kitchen and garage. It was a huge project in my opinion,I trusted him to take on the challenge based solely on his honesty , work ethic and the quality of his work. Very impressed with this company and the work they did for us. Had some leaking due to poorly constructed shims for water direction. Initial design was not great which was the first thing GR&C pointed out to us. We also had several other spots that were leaking due to long term wear and around a pipe boot. Very quick to respond and come out and give an estimate which was very reasonable. The day they came out they worked the whole day and into the evening. They decided to come back the next day to finish up and make sure everything was good. We had already planned to be gone that day and when I asked about payment, they very professionally told me that they wouldn't take any payment until the job was done and we could see it and make sure it was what we wanted. I think that's a rare quality these days. The work they performed also included some interior work to make sure there was no damage inside due to any leaks. Some of the work was not as intensive or involved as previously estimated so they also reduced the initial quote to account for that. I would definitely work with these guys again and recommend them to anyone in this area that needs any kind of roof work done.

Do not hesitate to use Gonzalez Roofing for your roofing project. My house was due for a new roof, fascia replacement and new gutters. I contacted Gonzalez for an estimate and Dago personally came out and inspected my roof and came up with a plan on the spot and explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. Gonzalez Roofing are true professionals. They showed up as scheduled and completed the project in a few days, while managing what they could on some rainy days. They removed my old roof shingles and underlayment, cut out old damaged fascia and plywood sheets, then installed all new roofing. They color matched the new fascia to the rest of the trim on my house. Installed gutters and downspouts. Everything looks great, the gutters function as expected. They cleaned up after themselves. They passed over several times making sure to get all the nails, debris and trash. I went with Owens Corning shingles and they followed the proper install method and used all correct products to maintain the roofing warranty. I would recommend Gonzalez to anyone and I would use them again for any other project that may arise in the future.

We noticed a small water leak in our living room near our chimney. Dago came out the same day we called to inspected the leak. The leak was coming from the flashing around our chimney that was improperly installed by another roofing company prior to us purchasing the home. We agreed on Dago fair estimate for the repair. He came out on a Sunday in the heat and worked all day to make sure the repair was done right. We appreciate his hard work and will use him again for future repairs.

They installed a metal roof and gutters and weather guards they were very professional and all his guys did a great job we would use them again Gonzalez was here the whole time he worked the whole time he was here.Would highly recommend them if you want a great looking Roof.

Replace my shingle roof back in Feb this year 2022! Very satisfied with everything, of course the prices have made the replacement more expensive then I wanted it was a very good job. Gonzalez Roofing had previously repaired some siding for us due to wind damage. When we found out that we would need a whole new roof, they were the first one's that we called! They were prompt, courteous and extremely professional. They ensured that everything was cleaned up in our yard, as well as, flower bed. You could not even tell that they had been here--except for the fact that the roof looked amazing! Gonzalez Roofing does amazing work and I highly recommend them.

D. Gonzalez did a great job replacing our roof, gutters, and removing trees that were leaning towards our house. They were very polite and cleaned up around our house. They removed all the debris from cutting down the trees and were very careful about how the trees were dropped to be sure nothing was damaged. We would definitely recommend them!

Dago and his crew was great to work with, I called Dago for an estimate on new (Fascia) the white trim underneath the shingles since the paint was peeling off from a defect by the manufacture when the house was built. He was very professional and knowlegable when showing me what needed to be done, I also asked him a question about my siding and was honest on what I should do instead of selling me on work that I did not need. He provided me with the quote on the new Fascia trim and while he and his crew did the work they also cleaned my gutters and sealed a few spots on the gutters that were dripping when there was a big strom. My house now looks like it got a upgrade, thank you Gonzales Roofing & Construction for you're great quality work. I'll be using in the futrue for any repairs that are needed for sure, I highly recommend Gonzales Roofing!

After I met with Dago Gonzalez, I knew I could trust his company to do a high quality job. Everything he said was what I wanted to hear; best materials, excellent roofing procedures using Owens Corning installation guidelines, and a very detailed estimate of the project. But best of all was the WORK that he and his crew did. Top notch, great team procedures, hard working, and extremely friendly. The roof extension turned out to be better than I expected. Beautiful. Gonzalez did a great job for us. Our roof has 2 chimneys, a dormer and a number of other details that needed special attention. They did architectural shingles, TPO on the dormer, metal in the valleys and cut in flashing on the chimneys. They did a great job, no problems and they dodged rain and kept the house dry. I highly recommend them!

Today was the second time I have contacted Gonzalez Roofing for my home and think it’s about time I share my experience. Each time they have repaired the leaks in my roof. The first time I went through 2 other companies to fix a leaky roof. Both tried to fix the issue unsuccessfully. My opinion is because they were in a hurry and assumed where it was coming from. Fast forward to this company who my neighbor used and recommended. They took time to look over my entire roof inside and out and found the area and successfully repaired it. They did not try to sell me a new roof or anything else. However, I asked if they had time being they were here if they could replace the boots over all my stacks on the roof. It was late but off they went to get the parts and finished them by the end of the day. The next call was a small leak into the attic. Not as large but again they were quick to respond and come to take care of that as well. They all are nice young men, courteous and above all skilled and knowledgeable. Clean up after themselves and all who have used them in our neighborhood feel the same way. Thank you for your professionalism and caring! Rare combo nowadays.

We had 4 different estimates and Dago was the only person to actually get out of the truck and inspect our roofs damage. Itemized estimate was spot on. They cleaned every day with magnet rakes, they were friendly and professional. We would absolutely recommend Gonzalez roofing to anyone. I had another roofing contractor come out and quote me for a missing shingle that I noticed. They did not even get on the roof and quoted me $530 to replace 1 shingle.

I called Gonzalez roofing out for a second opinion. They immediately came by, got on the roof and did a thorough inspection. They found (and documented with photos) a couple of other small problem areas. Said they could take care of the repairs right there on the spot for $225. They were done in no time and you can’t even tell I ever had any damage on my roof at all.

Very pleased with the work, the price and the professionalism. Would recommend to anyone who needs roofing work.

Dago Gonzalez is an impressive young entrepreneur. His employees are top notch. They are meticulous and thorough. I had 6 estimates from other companies. The salesmen were very slick but wanted me to accept their plan and did not want to vary from it. They could be argumentative and thought I did not have any insight into roofing. Their prices were more than Gonzales but that was not a factor in my decision making. I never had the faith in them I had In Dago and his crew after a few discussions with Dago. Dago was very helpful in the decision making process of what materials to use and how the installation should be done. I first learned about Gonzalez Construction when they installed a roof on the house behind me. I watched the installation very carefully. That is when I knew his company was the one for my installation. They were constantly cleaning the yard for debris, protecting the shrubbery, using state of the art equipment, and never goofing off. Dago may own the company but he was on the roof installing and supervising the crew. It was important to me he had his own crew and did not sub the work to other companies. I had a section of roof over the 4th bedroom that builder did not install a gutter. Dago gave me a fair price and did an outstanding installation of the new gutter. My advice to you is if you are looking for a roof repair or new installation, you will be well served to use Gonzalez Construction.

This is an update to my previous review. The owner reached out to me via text message and apologized for his behavior and wanted a chance to speak with me about this situation. ( 10/16/2020) I waited until today till i gathered my thoughts in order to respond to him. I responded via text message and with in 5 minutes he called me. He was very sincere in when he spoke to me and was humble and explained to he has been in business 8 years and has never had an issue like this before he didn't handle it well and he thought when I spoke to him the first time that I came off very strong. I explained that I was being firm with him that in no way I was trying to be rude. He totally understood that he made a mistake in going out when he said and that he has been super busy and he made a mistake not going when he said was gonna show to do the work or even notify that he would not be able to make it. He did make it right by mother which was only fair. It was also a learning lesson for not only this contractor but my elderly mother .
I do wish the best of luck with continuing to grow his business and know if you have a problem with any type work that was done you can contact him and will make it right or at least try to make it right.

This company installed a roof on my elderly mothers home in Roxboro about 4 years ago and was giving a warranty. At the time my mother had a dish on her roof before he replaced it. Now, this contractor and my mother had a conversation about having a dish on her roof. He was unconformable about replacing the dish after he replaced the roof but did replace the dish . He explained to my mother that it could cause leaks in future. That is why he did not want to reinstall the dish on the newly replaced roof. Now three weeks ago the ceiling clasped in over my mother bed due to leaking where the dish was. ( thank God my mother was not hurt) My mother called him since he talked her through whole roofing process when he replaced the roof. He came out 3 weeks ago on a Wednesday to insect roof and told her her leak was because of dish that she is no longer using fault and that he was going to charge her 300+ dollars to repair the roof only. He would come out on Friday to repair it . Well that Friday came and went as well as the following Friday. No phone call no nothing no call no show. I called him last Saturday to find out what happened. I was firm but not rude. He on the other hand was he would not let me finish a statement and was talking over me. I finally got him to understand that is a safety issue and that the roof could fall in on my mother while she is sleeping and that would be his fault since he did the roof and that he needed come out and fix what he said he was gonna fix and that he would have gotten his fee to even fix it. He told me that he would be out there this Friday 10/16/2020 or Saturday 10/17/2020. No time just a two day time frame. I am mind full that he can not work in rain as this week there was supposed to have a lot of rain. So it should be dry enough to work on these days. Last night the roof finally caved in. THERE IS A WHOLE WHERE THE ROOF ONCE WAS . I tried to call this contractor and he is MIA. He has not answered phone calls or even text messages during business hours. His voice mail is always full so you can not leave a message.

Very impressed with the company and with their workers. It has been 2.5 years after we had the roof installed and I noticed an issue with the ridge vent installation. They sent out a representative a couple of days later and then within a few days after than they have fixed the issue. As a Home Inspector, I can be a bit picky on the work done to my own house. The workmanship was excellent and was done in a very timely manner. All debris was cleaned up and removed from site. I will highly recommend them to my friends and my home inspection clients when asked.

This is an exceptional business. Was very responsive to my need of repairing my roof/skylight. Went above and beyond my expectations. Timely, clean, professional, and caring. I am looking forward to utilizing their services for other home repairs in the future. I highly endorse their work!

I am not sure what is going on. I have had the worst luck with roofers. I called them and they were very responsive. We set an appointment and they missed it. I called an hour after the appointment and they admitted yes, they had missed the appointment and apologized. We set another appointment for 7 pm the same day and here we are at 735 pm and another no show or call. This is a sign to me to not use this company.

This is a follow-up to the original post. They finally showed up at 830 pm and went right up on the roof to see what the problem is. Seems very knowledgeable so fingers crossed that what they found is the problem. If so, I will edit this again and maybe give them another star, the 2x tardiness is a pet peeve of mine.

Gonzalez roofing replaced my roof on what turned out to be a large residential job. After removing one old roof, they discovered another old tar and gravel roof that had been covered over. They managed to remove that layer as well and completed the new roof with architectural shingle and rubber membrane roofing. The roof looks great now and has up to a 40 year life span. Dago and the guys were very easy to work with and answered my questions to come up with the perfect idea for my unique roof. I recommend Gonzalez Roofing for whatever type of roof you may own.

Came out quickly to do the estimate and was ready to start within a few days. Great price, great job!

I originally contacted Dago for help with small projects for my exterior siding/fascia pieces. After contacting 5 other people he was the only person that showed up when he said he would. Once he was here I asked if he could also do a roof inspection and quote “just in case”. Three days later we had two storms back to back and I needed a new roof. I immediately called him because of his reliability and responsiveness. His team came in and replaced my roof in one day! I highly recommend this company. Professional, strong quality work (he wanted me to check it before he left) and responsiveness (he always responded to my call/texts).

We were in the middle of a work relocation and needed work done on our home for sale. Dago and his team responded quickly. They did superior work and turned it around well before deadline. Being out of state, they kept us updated daily on their progress. We trusted them and it paid off. We absolutely recommend them for any and all work.

**Update** After initially posting a negative review, I received a phone call from Gonzales Roofing, he let me know about a serious accident. They ordered the parts and had them installed in no time. I would call them again for any future needs!

I contacted Gonzalez Roofing about installing snow guards on my metal roof. They did come out to perform an evaluation but failed to provide a quote after approximately two weeks. After making contact, I was told I would have a quote in the next 24 hours but never received it. I would not recommend Gonzales Roofing for any job.

I called Mr Gonzalez in a Sunday evening, he came right out to inspect the problem and returned the next day to repair. He and his crew worked diligently to repair the damaged roof and provided additional advice and recommendations. He and his team left my home in good standing from any debris. Highly recommended!
