Due to storm damage, had to have siding replaced. Randomly picked Golden Hatchet mainly because they were local. I found Bill to be knowledgeable and easy to work with. He gave me a lot of good advice as I was a complete novice when it came to replacing siding. He and his crew were meticulous in their work and I am very happy with how it turned out. Really enhanced appearance of our house. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

If a company is going to call around after a storm asking for work, at least be professional about it. They called me after a recent storm, after I said I had a few adjusters out to look already and I wasn't interested, I just get scoffed at and hung up on. Take pride in your job at least a little bit, come on guys.

Had them do roof (was good) and siding on new home in 2019. By the time job was finally completed weather got cold. They caulked the trim when it was too cold and one side of house looks like a 2 year old did it. They filled nail holes with caulk instead of us painting them...But Didn't do all of them. He came to look at it early this year but still a no show. We've left 4 messages for months with no return call. Roof I would rate A but not on siding and trim. Bill, I certainly hope as a business owner you can satisfy a frustrated customer not owning up to your work and most of all not returning phone calls!

I've had Golden Hatchet do two jobs at my Coon Rapids home -- a complete roof replacement in 2007, and reroof and new siding on my shed in 2015. I would recommend them to anyone. They did high-quality work on the home reroof job, including a tricky chimney situation. When I needed my shed redone on a short timeline, Bill, the owner/manager, came out quickly and made a good plan and fair estimate to keep what we could and replace what was damaged. They actually got the work started ahead of schedule. Mike, the guy who did the work, did a neat, careful and complete job, and the shed turned out great.
