Gibson's Ace Hardware

This place has lost my business. We went in there as a family, as my mom works here and wanted to get us Christmas gifts. And we rushed to get out of there, however we had to drive from Manhattan and Ogden. I personally was cooking for Christmas eve dinner so I couldn't make the 45 minute drive to be there earlier.

One lady wearing a mask i think jeannie, said you got 10 minutes when we were in the back already checking out, and she rolled her eyes and walked away. That is very rude to display attitude in front of customers.

Then we got done and rolled out the carts to the front, and Lori the manager was sitting there, with clear disdain on her face. I said Merry Christmas, and apologized for staying there by accident past 5 (mind you we were checking out before 5) she said and I quote "no problem, we've just been waiting all day for y'all to show up" she had warning from my mom that we may have been running behind and where we live and she still was very snide. Then my sister got onto her another instance and she said let me talk to your mom not you.

I will never be shopping here again. All the coworkers and that manager are awfully rude to customers. Especially since so much money was put back into that store. They should work away from the public if they have that much attitude that they displayed today towards my mom, me and my siblings.

And judging by past reviews it doesn't surprise me that this is an ongoing issue.

My husband and I drive 45 minutes just to shop at Gibsons. The fact that they carry men's sizes 4xl and up is the WHOLE reason we will continue to shop there. Not too many brick and mortar stores carry above a 2XL anymore. Thank you Gibsons!

All the staff that helped me yesterday were fantastic and helpful. The manager was so nice and found out the information I was after. I highly recommend this store. Plus it's neat and very clean.

I will never shop here AGAIN. I am an African American man and I went in to look for a pellet rifle for my 11 year old son to start shooting. I was met by an older gentleman and was asking questions about the rifle. When I asked to see the rifle, I was holding my hands out to handle it. The gentleman stared at my open hands and refused to let me see the rifle. He told me it was a "complicated rifle" and treated me like I didnt have the knowledge or capability to handle the rifle. I was 100% racially profiled by this man and I refuse to accept this behavior. You lost my business.

For all your household needs, the staff are great, helpful, smiling and making sure we get everything we need. Best overall shop in town

Great variety of types and brands of hand and power tools, nice Craftsman tool section. Clothes, light bulbs, plumbing, food, hunting and fishing gear and pretty much anything else you need around the home.

Great hardware store for a small town. Usually have whatever I need so I don't have to leave town. Some stuff can be a bit pricey though.

I like that it has a little bit of everything and easy to get around. I prefer it over WalMart.
