We highly recommend Gibraltar home improvements! Gilbert came to the house to give us an estimate, and he was very honest about how much work needed to be done. They started work the next day. My house had two walk in showers but I needed a bathtub for my daughter. I discovered Gibraltar by just living in the area and had them convert my shower into a bathtub and they did an amazing job at a reasonable price. I hired a contractor to repair my front steps and walkway for, what I now know was, an exorbitant amount of money. I paid up front but he did not finish the work!

Gibraltar helped us with a ton of projects including adding frost depth footings to existing outdoor stairs, insulating an exposed foundation wall, and a complete bathroom remodel all done really well. Andrew was great to work with helping keep the projects organized and moving quick and the quality of work was top notch. The attention to detail especially with the bathroom was excellent taking uneven tiles/ walls/ ceiling and totally reworking everything so the room is perfect. The tile work especially has gotten a lot of complements and overall I would highly recommend Gibraltar whether it’s for a smaller project or a more extensive project like we had.

The crews arrived on time, just as Andrew, the Contractor said. A couple of trucks, 8 to 10 workers, ladders up-and started work.They were courteous, all smiles. They worked on different parts of roof. Did an Excellent job in just One Day.!

I had been searching for months for a contractor to redo my bathroom and had just about given up when I caught sight of a Gilbraltar sign in front of a home in my neighborhood. I signed with Gibraltar the very next day because they had it all - the right price, experience and mindset in sync with what I wanted to achieve. Most importantly, they were licensed and insured, an absolute requirement of my coop building.

I could not be happier with the end result. Gibraltar’s fine craftsmen went out of their way to meet my many specific needs. As the attached pictures will attest, they turned my tiny space into a beautiful, sleek and spacious looking spa bathroom. Gilbraltar also gave me a mirrored entranceway as an added bonus. It gives the appearance of being an extension of the bathroom replete with a lovely wall cabinet that provides enormous storage space for toiletries. All that’s needed now is just the right artwork in the bathroom to complete the elegant feel of this space.

I am very happy that I chose Gibraltar. They were very detailed and perfectly explained the procedure to me beforehand. They were very professional regarding thier materials, disruptiveness, and were managed to upfix our house with no problems. Definitely recommend their team in the future.

To begin if I could I would give Gibraltar - 0 stars. Andrew came out to our home, took measurements gave us a quote. He came back to our home once we decided to go with Gibraltar have us sign a contract, we gave a deposit. He came back again with a contractor, he took measurements and gave us an estimated time of when they would start the work. We gave Andrew a check for 30% that is required. Several weeks go by, the check was not cashed. Andrew said that his boss wanted to speak to us. “His Boss” came to our home took measurements (are you keeping track of how many times measurements were taken?) said that we would hear back from them. We called Andrew a week later (he did not call us) he said that the quote he gave was wrong and that the job would cost “at least” 50% more than the quote he gave us.
Needlessly to say we are very dissatisfied with the professionalism. The numerous times Andrew visited our home solo, with the contractor then with his boss. Wasted time that we cannot get back and it yielded no result. I would not trust Gibraltar, even if it is in writing. I did not trust them to do anything on our home after their lack of professionalism.

Gibraltar completed a fireplace remodel for us. Some of the other companies we spoke to didn’t think the job was big enough for their time. The job was extremely well done and the team had to get creative. The result is beautiful and it changed our entire room. Gil always answered our calls and spent time with us picking out materials.

The best decision I made was having Gibraltar replace my roof. The workers were professional, they were very efficient, didn't waste any time and the workmanship was excellent. Everything was cleaned up when they finished, you almost wouldn't know they were there. They were great!

I contracted with Gibraltar to completely gut and remodel my kitchen and bathroom. As part of the remodel, they took down the wall between the kitchen and dining room, closed up the existing kitchen door and dining room window and installed a sliding glass door in the dining room. They also installed a small deck off the dining room. The bathroom remodel involved replacing the bathtub with a walk in shower. I could not be happier with the end result and only wish I had done this years ago. Working with Bill, Mario and the Gibraltar team was a pleasure.

I had the worse experience with this company. I am a new homeowner and I did hire this company for a new roof. They broke my stream radiator vent and the power line in my attic. When I called to report this issue, I was told that they were not at fault. When I was trying to explain that I did hire "professionals" in order to get a good job, he just hang up the phone on me. I am very disappointed about Gibraltar. Worse customer service ever!

Gibraltar did my brother's shower stall. Their workers are excellent. They were always on time, covered everything that was needed, and they swept and took out the debris. We decided to go with Gibraltar Home Improvements for our full bathroom renovation. We quoted 4 companies before making our decision. Gibraltar had a slightly higher price quote however, the service we received was exceptional even before we made a decision and ultimately the reason why we chose them. Gilbert went above and beyond, making himself available at all times, he was very patient with all of our questions, answered us honestly, and established trust and open communication from the get go. When we went to the showroom, we were met by Gilbert and Eileen. There were many, quality options to choose from within the budget. Eileen was wonderful and knowledgeable, she understood the vision we had and offered her expertise and drew up a plan. The job started almost immediately and the crew was amazing. They worked quickly, efficiently and meticulously. They paid special attention to cleaning before they went home at the end of every day. The job was done a few days earlier than expected. Renovations on a new home can be very stressful but working witht this team we had minimal issues. All of the tradesmen were professional and experienced. End product is great!

I hired Gibraltar to remove my deck and install a concrete backyard area and steps with armortec pavers, I love the final product. There were some bumps along the way from beginning of the job until the final product. What I really value about this company is that the salesman was always accessible. Once the project was complete and paid for, Daniel Goldberg stopped by to scope the work and made further recommendations for improvement. As a supplement to my previous review, I just want to share my latest experience with Gibraltar and Andrew Pappas in particular. I was in need of an urgent renovation to a small apartment that I own. Initially I wasn't sure if they would accept a job like this but to my relief, they did. Andrew worked with me to plan the replacement of the bathroom and kitchen areas and I cannot say enough about the job he did. Through the process, Andrew made suggestions as to additional work that should be done. This was done in a low pressure way with very affordable options provided. His attention to detail, communication skills and his ability to work with the Cooperative's Management made for a stress free renovation. I would not hesitate to use Gibraltar again.
