I called Janek about a stuck nozzle on my garden hose. He showed up to my house like a professional with all the right tools and helped me with my hose.

Meticulous! I asked Janek to repair our outdoor handrail which had become wobbly over the years. He pointed out that the original design and materials were inadequate and gave me a quote for rebuilding both the rail and the adjacent steps. The job took quite a while as materials were slow to arrive, but Janek stuck with it. The result is beautiful, solid as a rock, and I’m confident it will be much more durable.

Janek's experience came in quite handy when it came time to repair my alloy patio table. His skill and "can do" approach allow him to be a true craftsman. Am already looking for other projects he can do for me!

I had a large part of an indoor wall removed to to install an electrical equipment. The area was patched with sheetrock and joint compound by the installer. the Patching was done very poorly by the installer. It was so bad that I thought there was no way to fix it. The area was super uneven. Also, there were couple of other areas that needed touchups. I called Janek and he immediately responded by returning my call. He was very courteous, polite and professional. The result: I could not believe the accuracy, quality, & workmanship Janek offers. The wall repair was astonishingly top level. Janek did an amazing job transforming the exterior of our home. He replaced the beams on our front porch and added some beautiful trim that really stands out.

He also washed one side of the house, fixed and painted our broken mailbox post, and even brought in some painters to complete the look.

Janek built custom corner shelves and stained them for my bathroom which look amazing and add so much storage. He's also done a lot of odds and ends like install a new garbage disposal, fix the toilet, hang frames and build a sliding fence on my porch so the dog can't escape. Overall highly recommend - honest, a perfectionist and friendly.

Hired Janek to re-screen porch, replace both doors, replace any broken moldings and paint it. Got to the end of the 2 days he alloted himself and said he had another job to put in deck footings before winter. Took the doors and said he would come back to install the screen doors and finish up. Never came back. Texted the following spring and never responded. Lesson learned, never pay for the job before its done.

I was having an issue with a door/doorframe that needed attention. I called Janek to see if he could take a look at it and I could not be happier with the service I received. He was over later that afternoon, fixed the issue in a matter of minutes, and he was as professional and polite as could be. I will 100% be calling him in the future if his services are needed and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Provided handyman repairs on two separate occasions. Work was done well. Requested a deck expansion. After last repair job he assessed the job and said would get back within one week. No contact after one week - did friendly follow up. No replies following two more weekly follow ups (text and voicemail). No contact after almost 2 months. Being ghosted is not cool.

He presented me with two scenarios. Both sounded great. I opted for the reconstruction one rather than new everything. By the time he was done It looked so great for a moment I thought he had put in the brand new one. Then I saw the meticulously crafted elements that he had to make to replace the idiosycracies that the original design had. Amazing!! His business platform is professional and easy to use and he is a great communicator. He offered updates through which ever method I chose. I asked for updates by text. He made it so easy to know what was going on. I know this review is lengthy but the quality of having him on my team so to speak can't be under expressed!

Janek installed shiplap planks on a wall in our entryway and it looks like a new modern entrance. Also we hired him to power wash our house and it seems like new siding. He is very professional, thorough and does an amazing job. We will continue to utilize him for additional projects.

Janek did an amazing job fixing our broken back sliding door! He was very patient and did a fantastic job at getting the job done in a very short amount of time. Janek designed and built a custom, modular patio furniture set for my husband and me. When I say custom, I mean custom. He talked with us to determine the style, provided us recommendations on design, wood and paint type, and even measured the height and length of the pieces to accommodate our difference in heights. Janek is fantastic and budget-friendly - he’s kind, knowledgeable and always has a smile! We’ve had him help with all sorts of odd jobs, from plumbing to finish carpentry.

Our bathroom doorway has non-standard dimensions, which resulted in us having to custom fit a door to replace the horrible 1970s accordion slider that the previous owner had installed. On top of that, the layout requires the door to open outward instead of inward.

Janek worked with us to select the door and hardware, advised on style, AND picked up and delivered the door. He then custom-fit the door and even reconfigured the entire frame. Had we gone through a contractor or custom door company, this would have been maybe a $1,000 job - we literally saved hundreds.
