We wanted to expand our deck, which meant extending our roof as well. Other contractors reviewed the requirements and wouldn't touch it, not only did Georgia Restoration and Construction take on the job they did an awesome job. The extension added 210 sq ft. The job required framing/roofing/new pillars/new siding/painting,etc.. The GARCP team did a great job managing the various needed crews and the unusually high volume of local rain fall. No construction job is without a few flaws, the important thing is that the issue is acknowledged and corrected. The team did a great job solving all issues to our upmost satisfaction. Highly recommended in our book!

Georgia Restoration added steps from my pool to the pool equipment (pump, etc), graded the area around the pool, installed a well constructed and safe fence around the pool, and multiple French drains to combat a drainage issue. We appreciate their work and we would hire them again.

I have worked with the owner Daryl. You cannot, and I stress, you cannot find a better company to work with. This company went out of their way to help me when I needed it most. I was in a pinch for time and needed a concrete pad ASAP. Daryl went out of his way to make sure it got done. Thanks to Daryl and GARCP, I was able to get this done quickly and affordably.

It troubles me to see some of the negative reviews that have been posted for this business and the owner. Its troubling because I personally know the owner. I also know that they would not intentionally do a bad job because of their morals and values, as well as, their standing in the community.

I have been in outside sales for the majority of my life and I can tell you this... no business is perfect. However, this is one of the closest I have ever done business with or had the privilege of knowing. They continue to grow and have an impact in their community. Great people and overall awesome business.

My family hired Georgia Restoration to renovate our family cabin. Our cabin is very special to our family, and this company has shown no care for it at all. Initially, we were told the project would take about six months and would be finished in the summer. Following this, each time my family checked on the work they were doing, they had made absolutely no progress. We were then promised it would be done by thanksgiving, which it was not. The final straw was when we were guaranteed it would be finished by Christmas and my father went to check on it less than a week before we were scheduled to arrive, it was not at all completed. We had to change all of our travel plans and missed an entire year of family holidays and traditions at our family home, as well as wasted an entire years worth of payment on a home we could not use. At this point we gave up on the company. Not only were they late, they showed no care or respect to my family and our home and the work they did complete was not adequate and damaged our home. To top things off, they claim to be a licensed company but they are not-research it.

Nightmare experience! My family contracted with this company to remodel our cabin and not only did they never finish the job, they actually damaged parts of our home. This job was supposed to be done in 4 months and it still was not done over a year later. They destroyed our family holiday traditions. Some of the positive posts on Google are actually family members who work for them. They also have claimed they are licensed and they are not. Do your research.

My friends hired this company to do a renovation on their home. The work was not completed by the agreed upon time, and what was done was poor craftsmanship. The owners were unwilling to take responsibility for their workers lack of work and poor quality. Now my friends have to pay out more money to have a new contractor come it to fix all the problems and finish the job. I don’t recommend this company to anyone looking to do a big or small job. They are not trustworthy and do poor work to boot.

Run, don’t walk, away from this company! GARCP advertises it’s a licensed contractor, but it is NOT. Their website says they are “Professional contractors and construction experts you can count on.” They are neither.
We hired GARCP to update our small, 2-bedroom cabin and finish the basement. They told us the project would take 3-4 months, but after an entire year, they still could not finish.
The first PM they gave us, Jim, stopped supervising our project but claimed work was being completed. We were shocked to find almost none of the work he told us was completed had been done. What little work GARCP started was incorrect, and they had damaged and destroyed our property- furniture, decking, screen and storm doors.
When Jim left the company, our home was in shambles. The owner of GARCP, Daryl, and his wife Leanne (the General Manager) were unapologetic and said GARCP was not responsible for its own employee’s negligence. By this time, Jim called us to advise our project was not completed because GARCP did not have the money to order materials even though we had paid them almost the entire contract total. He claimed he left GARCP because they owed him money.
When we communicated our concerns about this, Leanne did not deny it and stated “Well sometimes you have to rob Peter to pay Paul.”
The second PM, Brad, promised to get our project moving. However, more months passed with little to no progress. We were suddenly told Brad also left the company, Daryl would take over our project himself, and we would be back in the house by Thanksgiving. Some progress did begin to take place. However, every time GARCP took 1 step forward, they took 2 steps back. Work was completed improperly. GARCP routinely damaged other elements of our home and new work it had just installed.
Eventually, all our communication with GARCP was turned over to a new person, Sam, without GARCP ever telling us he was the new PM. This was especially frustrating because we had to pay our interior designer to re-educate a fourth person on the project. Sam led us to believe he was on site supervising our project. We found out later he rarely, if ever, actually visited our site.
After promising but failing to complete our home by Thanksgiving, Sam and Daryl told us our home would be ready to move back in before Christmas. So, my husband drove up to move us in. However, when he arrived, not one room in the house was completed. It was a construction zone. There was not even 1 fully functioning bathroom. The sink in the master bathroom was leaking. The brand new gas stove wasn’t functional because GARCP had not completed the installation (and later said they were not capable of installing it). There were no smoke detectors in the basement. All the electrical outlets in the kitchen were hanging from the walls. The kitchen faucet was installed improperly. An entire tile wall had to be redone. The list goes on.
When I asked Sam if he knew the house was unlivable when he told us we could move in for Christmas, he said “Well, what is your standard for livable?”
A plumber GARCP hired to work on our home contacted us saying GARCP had not paid him for this and many other projects, and he had no choice but to lien our property even though we had paid all GARCP’s bills. When we confronted Daryl, he emailed us that the plumber was an “idiot and meth head” and would not be able to lien our house.
We quit hoping GARCP would be able to complete our home and hired someone else to finish it.
GARCP claims all that is left is punch work; but the cost for their shoddy work to be fixed and completed is over $40,000.

GA Restoration did an excellent job treating the minor mold problem we had in our bathroom down to the subflooring and joists as well as completely renovating our bathroom. They arranged multiple contractors who all did an amazing job. We worked with Sam and he was very responsive and communicative with us through the project. They completed the project the week before Christmas, a busy season, and during below freezing weather without delay. I would work with GA Restoration again and recommend them to anyone for their restoration or construction needs.

Daryl and GARCP have been awesome in helping to finish projects up around our new home. Responsive, helpful and honest… all qualities that are very hard to find these days. Have referred several of my customers to them as well. Highly recommend!

What a refreshing thing it is to find a good, honest and professional company! Beyond good, these guys are simply amazing people and a pleasure to work with. And to top to all off, their standards, quality and craftsmanship is stellar.

Our Master Bathroom remodel looks AMAZING! They took the worst room in our house and made it our personal retreat that we now love to spend time in! Jim Gordon, and his team, were a pleasure to work with through this entire process. I would recommend them to family and friends, and plan to use GARCP again for future remodeling needs! GA Renovation did an awesome job on the installation of shower doors in my newly constructed bathroom. Very professional and on time!! Confirmed date/time of install and showed up as scheduled. The quote was competitive and reasonable. Crew cleaned area up nicely after project completion. I have several upcoming projects and will definitely call these guys again. Very pleasant staff and friendly, trustworthy workers. Thanks guys!!

Georgia Restoration did an amazing job repairing our leaking pipes! They were extremely friendly and did a great job repairing the pipe and flooring all in two days. They are also quick to responding to texts, calls or emails from customers!

They recently put a new Roof on our house. They did such a great job! They are very easy to work with and finished very promptly. I would recommend anyone using them. Thank y’all so much!

I’ve used these guys twice and will call them again when I need more work done. They helped me get my previous house fixed up to sell as well as threw up a new privacy fence for my dog at my current address. Hands down best quality work in the area!
