Ive been working with Alex Smith to help customize my barn style building and I can only say great things. He has helped to answer all of my questions and even made numerous changes to the design until he knew I was happy with everything. He is extremely knowledgeable and helped me to understand why certain things were important to have in place. If you are looking for a building, you definitely need to give them a call and ask to speak to Alex, you won't be disappointed that you made that phone call.

I had an exceptional experience with Garage and Shed Supply in Danville Virginia. The Building Specialist that worked with me was Alex Smith and he was phenomenal. I had many questions and he was always quick to respond with helpful answers. I ran into several hiccups on my end with zoning etc and Alex was very patient with my process and always offered wisdom and encouragement through the process, not to mention he was able to save me a great deal of discounts which was such a blessing. I am very grateful for my experience and would highly recommend Alex and Garage Shed and Supply to anyone .

We purchased a 3 run dog kennel. The shed did not come as we had asked. We had asked for there not to be any inside construction of individual kennel spaces, as what was shown in photos by the sales person did not meet sufficiently our needs. The shed came with the unwanted inside construction anyway, which we now have to find a work around with to make it functional. The deliver of the shed put the shed where we wanted it and then informed us that he could not level due to slope. Then quoted an extra $175.00 to add the extra bricks we had supplied. We said fine leave it flat on the ground we will level it ourselves. We had already paid the $75 for leveling at the time of purchase. He said it couldn’t be left flat, I asked why not? I did not get an answer. He ended up leaving it flat in the ground, and we have since added the bricks to our satisfaction. The experience overall was unpleasant. I have many sheds in our property and this is by far the worst experience.

I recently purchased a shed through this company and it was a painless process. Alex was awesome to work with and very helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend this company and will use the again in the future.

I worked with Alex and he did everything that I wanted to complete the carport in a timely manner! I have recommend this company to several people and plan on working with them again in the near future!

Salesperson Alex was very helpful and gave great customer service and Markus the delivery person was very sociable and great with placing the shed. Overall experience was great.

We had been looking for several weeks, when we finally decided to stop in at Garage & Shed Supply located on 58E of Danville Va. The first reason I had made the decision to stop and talk with this dealer was the cleanliness of their lot and the attention shown in the set up of the display models. Many we had stopped by were not level and caused us to walk through wet grass, mud or worse. This lot was not that way and my thoughts are if you care enough about the appearance of your business you are more than likely to care more about my satisfaction. Just my thoughts though, I appreciate attention to little details such as this. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman named Chris who was certainly helpful but in no way pushy. He gave us time to browse the lot by ourselves before returning to check on us and if you have ever been bombarded by a sales person you too can appreciate the respect shown us. When we did finally decide that this is more than likely where our purchase would be from Chris jumped right in to help us decide on all the details that would suit our needs. I had lots of questions, concerns and even some polite demands but he had no problem addressing each and every one of them. Chris never made us feel rushed and I can be quiet slow at coming to a final decision lol. Understand, I am the wife and this was to be my building so the poor man had to deal predominately with me. That seemed to be no problem for Chris to accommodate either.
So the order was placed and off we go, but as I said, I’m a woman so of course I had a change order by the time the weekend was over. Chris again delt with this matter quickly and efficiently. Our building was ready and arrived just 7 days after the final changes had been made. I could not believe it!! That was so much faster than I had ever expected. I did follow up with Chris with a concern I had about placement/leveling of the building after delivery and once again he graciously took care of my issue as did the company who had delivered the structure. Most importantly, the price was quite a bit better than any other company we had checked with. I love my little 12x20 but I will be painting the door black, typical woman, always gotta make a few adjustments
I absolutely can say this was one of the most positive experiences I have had in purchasing just about anything. Chris is absolutely the best and I highly recommend him and Garage & Shed for your shed or other structure needs.

Great communication, fast assembly, and good price. Alex is a great rep and replies quickly to emails and calls. I'd definitely recommend him and I plan on buying from him in the future.

When purchasing a metal building, know that this company is ONLY a dealer for Carolina Carports. They have no course of action if something goes wrong, no ability to assist with scheduling (we waited 3 months), no ability to make changes, no recourse if there's a problem with the lender. They are merely the box at the drive-thru where you put your order in. "Sorry, there's nothing we can do" you will hear that a lot if you have any problems.

Great place to buy a pre built building or a metal building of your design. I have a 50 x 24 and I love it. They also have a large selection of plants and trees. I found 2 weeping willows there at an amazing price. Check them out.

Placed a deposit on a building, was assured the deposit would always be valid even if plans changed. Well, plans did changed and had to hold off for over a year, I reached out multiple times to receive a quote on a different building to use the deposit towards and never heard back forcing me to use a different company. Lost out on over $500 because this company is dishonest! Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.
