We were happy for the painting the painters did for us. They were great to work with. Could be better with communications. Would have them for another paint job.

Had interior walls, ceilings and cabinets painted. Overall, they did a nice job. Ran a day or 2 long with completetion date but all in all happy with results! Painters were professional and courteous.

We hired Fresh Coat Painters to paint the exterior of our house. We had a good experience with them, and are pleased with the results! They were prompt each day, cleaned up afterward, and finished the work ahead of schedule. Tyler and Derrick were great to work with!

Tyler's crew did a good job painting my home, as well as addressing any drywall issues and covering up unused wall outlets such as phone and cable.

The Fresh Coat team just completed the exterior painting of our home. We recommend Derrick, Tyler and the entire crew. Fresh coat was extremely responsive and professional. I was able to get an estimate and psinting started on it sooner than I could have imagined. Their repair and paint skills are ummatched as you can't even tell there was prior wall damage and I wouldn't use anyone else.

Fresh coat recently painted our outside trim work of our home. This was no easy task, as our home sits 3 stories high in areas and we’re over 7,000sq ft! They were in and out in 3 days and did an amazing job! Perfectly cut lines, attention to details, the works! We also had a ton of woodpecker holes that they filled and it looks brand new, we’re happy with how they turned out. The pricing was VERY competitive. Their team was prompt and very respectful of our home. I will be using them for some interior work soon! Highly recommend using them for your home paint projects!

We had the team out to do work at my father-in-laws house. From the ease of scheduling the consultation online, the freaky-fast response to confirm the meet and expectations, to the end of the job—this group was IMPRESSIVE. So responsive, so flexible. We had a big ask on turn around, trying to get the painting done ahead of the movers. They made it happen the day before the move! The quote was so slick—customizable, allowing for ‘opt-in, opt-out’ room quotes that auto update the total of the summary so you can see live time what the cost implications of your job are. Not only was the pricing incredibly reasonable and very competitive, they were a pure joy to work with. They made what can often become a very painful process an efficient one. I got updates and pics throughout the day! Never have I ever had that type of customer service We walked the aftermath—it looks SO well done. They were flexible in the walk through and were open to come back if we found spots after the fact (which we didn’t!). 5 stars were the max option. I’d give them 10.

Fresh coat is good name as my ceilings and walls look great now with a fresh coat of paint. Crew left house clean after job was done.

Tyler is very responsive, Fresh Coat was reliable and on schedule. His crew did an amazing job removing 30 year old wallpaper and prepping the surface.

They painted multiple rooms, repaired plaster, repaired ceiling, painted trim, painted quarter round and painted a built in bookcase.

The interior looks almost like a new build, and definitely increased the selling value of this home.

Fresh Coat recently did work on our kitchen. We had removed a drop ceiling and fluorescent lighting in the kitchen ourselves.
Fresh Coat then drywalled a new ceiling and removed, sanded, and painted all our cabinet fronts. They were rough and just collected dirt and stains. Finally, they painted the ceiling and walls.

The room looks much brighter and larger, and the best part is that spills wipe off the cabinetry much more easily due to the high quality pain they used.

Derrick did our esimate and was easy to communicate with and very responsive when I had additional questions. Tyler also was quick to answer his texts and calls to make sure we were all on the same page as the project started.

This was a great way to update our kitchen without us sinking tens of thousands of dollars into a full renovation. We appreciate the work of Fresh Coat!

Use at your own risk. This company is one of the worst painting companies I have ever seen. They use low quality paint and do an even worse job. Not exactly sure how they stay in business.

They always respond to bad reviews stating “that everything was good when we last talked” even though it never was. They just say it to try and save face in their reviews.

Very friendly and professional business. My wife and I love how they break down each room with a quote, and you can accept or decline by room. They were extremely quick at getting the job done, and it looks great. Plan to use them again in the future for other painting/staining projects.

We hired Fresh Coat to paint most of the interior of our downstairs—kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room, hallway. This included old plaster walls and ceilings and baseboards and door frames and windows. They were professional, friendly, and did a great job. What would have taken me and my husband weeks and weeks they got done in about five days. I’ll be a return customer.

FCP came to my rescue, after I miserably failed to get a licensed and bonded painter. They were able to get their guy to paint my house in 3 days, including the garage, with the trim and an accent color in 3 days.
My house looks spectacular and I highly encourage you to check FCP out for your interior and exterior painting needs.

Fresh Coat Painters are my go to painters in Iowa. They are experts in their industry. Extremely helpful and do quality work. I’ve used them a few times now and have always been happy with their work.

I would not recommend Tyler or any of his crews. We have work that needs completed (I would have hoped under warranty) along with lots of sloppy work that needs touched up. We also requested them to paint a new addition. We chose a different company after waiting about 3 weeks of unanswered calls and messages. Not to mention last Spring’s unresponsiveness to our calls then. Another local company is doing the addition and we the homeowners are touching up Tyler’s crew’s sloppy work as well as paint that has bubbled and started peeling. It’s unfortunate we gave them our business about a year ago for a whole home exterior paint job and they aren’t standing by their work. I wish we would have gone a different route, if we would have known they wouldn’t help their valuable repeat customers, we definitely would have found a business to stand by their work and loyal customers.
