We needed our old wooden deck replaced, and we saw Freedom Contractors working in our neighborhood. We called them first for a quote, and we were happy with the price and professionalism of their personnel, particularly Brian, and Shane, our Project Manager. They gave us a fair quote and everything we needed to submit to our HOA for approval. When the approval came in, they started work promptly and finished in a timely manner, even with winter weather issues and the holidays. The new composite deck is beautiful, and the area beneath now has a finished, dry below ceiling, heater and new lights. All of Freedom's crew members were professional and did a great job on the project. All in all we are very happy with our new deck and will recommend Freedom to all our friends and neighbors.

We have owned many rental properties and personal homes for many years and have hired many contractors, so we can say Freedom Contractors is a top-notch company. They just completed a beautiful addition to our deck with a cover and more. The job was completed within the expected timelines by workers that were always courteous and kept the worksite clean and materials well organized. Initially, Brian provided the great plans to get what we wanted within our budget, he was great to work with. Shane was our superintendent and provided excellent service from the pouring of the footers through the final walk-through. Shane was always accessible to me and very patient in addressing each of our concerns and questions. Shane proved to be knowledgeable and provided exceptional customer service, from start to finish. We recommend that anyone looking for any of the work they perform to hire this company. They are not the cheapest, but I find those companies that quote the least always end up costing the most. We are 100% happy.

We are very happy with the deck that Freedom recently completed for us. Their pricing was competitive, they were easy to work with, and the outcome was exactly what we envisioned.

More details: I got quotes from 5 companies, of which Freedom had the best mix of capabilities and price. The project included a deck, with railing and privacy screen, extension of existing roof (patio cover), electricity, painting and cement pathways. We worked with Brian on the design, and I never felt pressured to go beyond our scope or budget, he listened and found solutions to our wants. The crews that completed the various parts of the project were competent and professional. A big shout out the to the Project Manager, Shane, he was super easy to work with and kept us fully informed while coordinating the project work.

Very professional company and crew did an excellent job on our deck resurfacing and railing installation. 4 stars instead of 5 because of a couple small hiccups involving additional costs that weren't clearly communicated. Joe (foreman) was fantastic and even came back after the project was complete to fix a small defect.

Freedom Contractors built us a beautiful new concrete patio, outdoor kitchen, and patio roof. So far so good! They came out and gave us a multiple-option estimate for a complicated deck project. The estimate was easy to understand and easy to choose different options. The estimates from others were not great, and more expensive. We accepted the estimate and paid the required 20% Downpayment.
I'll update this review as the job progresses.

Joe & Shane did an excellent job building our deck with pergola. Not only did the deck/pergola look like it belongs at an exclusive resort but their artistry creating it was exceptional. Starting with the beginning of the process from the bid to completion communication was clear & timely. Scott was patient with all of our questions & guided us through the project. We will enjoy our deck for years to come.

We had Freedom Contractors demo our old wood deck and build a new composite deck and deck cover. It turned out great! The crew was great and always did a good job cleaning up every day. We have dogs so this was greatly appreciated. The craftsmanship is fantastic. These guys work hard and do things the right way. Overall a great experience.

Working with Freedom Contractors was a refreshing and enjoyable experience. Jimmy, the project supervisor, was always there to answer questions and to help with any delays. Given that the patio was built in late November and early December the weather featured quite a bit in getting the project done. But Jimmy was always there on top of things and spoke with the workmen and kept me informed as to the next weather permitted work day. The crews were always prompt and cleared up after themselves. They were great at making sure that the gate was closed so if my dog she happen to go out to see what was happening I didn't need to worry that she would get out of the garden. They even built a cute step so that the dog and cats could get in through the cat/dog door. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They were absolutely the best!

Extremely happy with the work performed by Freedom Contractors. We had a paver patio and covered pergola installed, can’t wait for warmer weather so can enjoy own new patio!

Looking to renovate our back yard we tried a few contractors. The first contractor took our money and never did the work, then we contacted several other companies to receive bids but no one followed through. Once meeting with Freedom it was a completely different experience. We had a huge project planned – new deck w/glass railing and flared staircase, large paver patio, natural rock retaining walls, tree plantar boxes, a pergola, barbecue area, steps and just enough landscaping lights to add ambiance – lot of moving parts. Freedom was able to prioritize what needed to be done in what order and the only delays were due to lack of product. When we had some last-minute additions, Jimmy was able to work them in without any issues or objections. Making sure the customer is happy is Jimmy’s motto and he has a soft spot for red vine licorice. They came to our home every day to work on the project (weather permitting) and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final product. We will missing having them over now that it is all done. Even our dog seems lost – he keeps looking for his friends to come here. We highly recommend Freedom if you want a company who truly cares and treats you like part of the family!

Over the past few years, we have had some work done on our home by various contractors with mixed results. Some did not show up when scheduled, some lacked detail in their work, and others turned a two-day project into a weeklong painful, time-consuming marathon.

When we were exploring contractors to rebuild and extend our deck, I did what I always do which is start the tedious internet search process to include reading every single review on each company. I came across Freedom and noticed a 5-star rating which is rare unless there are only a few reviews and/or the company is in its infancy. The outstanding ratings combined with knowing a large portion of the company to include the owner are veterans (as are my wife and I), led us to select them as our builder.

Generally speaking, when you work with a veteran run company there is a good chance you will receive consistent on-time service, attention to detail, and efficiency. That is what we received from Freedom. Paul (design) was patient and flexible listening to our needs while considering our budget. Brian (management) was extremely knowledgeable and provided multiple options when we wanted to make some adjustments during the build. Jimmy (project manager) stopped by our house every day to check on the progress and welfare of the crew.

Last, I want to comment on the crew. We were fortunate to have Marek as the point man for our project. The team was at our house every morning around 7am to begin working. His attention to detail and commitment to doing things the right way (not the fast way) is commendable. Over the short time he was here, my wife and I developed a friendship with Marek and the crew which made asking questions to understand what and why they were doing something much easier. Marek would take the time to explain everything and also ask for my input when multiple options were available. He is a true craftsman and Freedom is fortunate to have him on their team.

If you are still searching for a quality company to complete a project like ours (or other services they offer), I would recommend you consider Freedom as your contractor.

The project management team was very communicative and the construction teams were professional and hard working. While they worked long days there was no corner cutting on the details.
They even noticed a couple of items that maybe we would have found later on and fixed them for free before it even became an issue.

I would give more than five stars if I could! From the salesperson to the contractors, every person that I dealt with was professional, personable and knowledgeable. Some companies didn’t bother to return my calls. Damien and John (the contractors) took their time to ensure that everything turned out perfectly. Jimmy was amazing. He was so professional, timely and kept us as the owners fully informed about the project to take down the old deck and build a new deck for us. Freedom Contractors recently completed a job for us. Patio cover plus a front and back cement pad. I was nervous because it was a big job, but there was no need to worry. Everything went very well. Everyone working with us from our PM Jimmy and GM Brian to the carpenters, the concrete and guttering guys were EXCELLENT. The patio cover work was so impressive my neighbor got an estimate for his patio based SOLELY upon how the teams worked. Other neighbors now also want new pads pouring! That says a lot. I would recommend Freedom Contractors because they are honest, up front, polite gentlemen, they clean up after themselves, make you feel calm about nerve-wracking projects and listen to what you need. I know from personal experience that the great reviews you see online are 100% spot on! Thank you for our lovely new patios.

I had my deck done by Freedom Contractors in late January. The deck itself is great, looks nice, very happy with how it came out. However, the mess that was made that I'm now cleaning up is why I'm not giving 5 stars. I'll give that it was winter and there was snow on the ground for the better part of the two weeks they were here. But I didn't see any winter discount on the large amount of money I paid, so I still expect a decent cleanup job. I've picked up 25+ nails in my yard, there's big mounds of dirt in the middle of my yard from their digging, I've found several drill bits, and there's several large fragments of dried cement scattered through my yard. So all in all, happy with the deck, not with the work I'm doing now to clean up my yard. They also put some sheathing on my house behind a concrete step that was removed, so the workers (Joe and Anthony, I believe) were definitely nice and helpful.

We're very happy with our beautiful new deck built by Freedom Contractors. Their team performed professionally and delivered as promised. They have a talent for effective communication reflecting a high degree of honesty, integrity and customer care. Pete was great throughout the process, handling design work and overall strategic communication. As project manager, Gabe displayed superb skills and commitment, and just happens to be a wonderful person. It was a pleasure working with him. He kept us informed with constant updates and completed the project on schedule. Highly recommend!

We just had Freedom Contractors come out to build a beautiful pergola in 3 days. It was the cheaper of two quotes I received.

The quoting/invoice/communication process was a breeze, they were on time, and the quality of their work and clean up afterwards blew me away.

I have ZERO stake in promoting them, except that it was just a huge breath of fresh air to have such a seamless, high quality project done and they deserve any work that comes their way.

It has been almost a year since having a 12x21 deck done[by Freedom Contractors. They were professional, detailed , following through with everything they promised. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We wanted to post a review earlier but couldn't so wanted to try again. We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a deck done and a deck done well!!

Just completed a 520 sq foot deck that was added to our house. Overall, we are very happy with the work that was completed. Everything was above our expectations! Beyond happy. I did wish we would of conducted a walk through before the project started. We would have done one thing differently. Other than that, we are very happy. I highly recommend them!

Our experience working with Freedom to get our deck remodeled was great! Josh came to the house, with decking and railing samples on hand, to give us a quote. He was quick, professional, and able to answer all my questions. Freedom seemed to be by far the most capable company to do our massive deck project! Within a couple of days signing the contract we had workers at the house doing demolition work! (The other companies I got quotes from told me they couldn’t start for 3 to 6 months!!) The workers were incredible! Fast working and payed attention to craftsmanship. Chris and Christian were both great to work with! Chris had a knack for having solutions for any concerns I had BEFORE I would even address them to him. Christian obviously takes great pride in his work and made sure the deck looked like a piece of art!

Everyone we talked with from start to finish was great! The crew was extremely fast and efficient. They demoed our old deck and rebuilt our new one in about 4 days total. We had some windows and doors that were old and drafty, so we found Freedom Contractors online and gave them a call. We met with Ryan and could not believe that triple pane windows and doors could be so affordable compared to other companies like Andersen and Champion that quoted double pane windows. The installation was quick and easy and we’ve already seen a huge difference in the temperature of the rooms we replaced windows in. We highly recommend this company and will be using them for more projects in the future!

What a beautiful deck. What an incredible experience. I can not say enough about Josh and the crew. They re-built my entire deck. It has been years since we have been able to enjoy our deck. Not only was it very old but it did not have any coverage and was too hot to even sit out for 10 minutes. Freedom Contractors solved our problem. We spend more time on the deck now then inside. I scheduled an appointment because I needed replacement windows for my house. I also called Anderson and Pella for quotes, but found Freedom Contractors to have a much better price, and were much more professional. (Like returning phone calls and answering questions in a timely manner.)

The windows they installed were high quality, and they left my home cleaner than when they arrived! No dirt marks left on the walls, etc. and screens were properly installed.

The professionalism of the staff was top notch, something I normally don't expect from experience with contractors in the past.

We would highly recommend using Freedom contractors. They were efficient, attentive to detail, high quality, and easy to work with. We used Freedom Contractors to remove our old deck and install a new composite deck. They worked with us to make sure we were getting the deck we wanted. Being honest, we were high maintenance customers (we changed our minds about the shape, size and colors numerous times before starting the project). Freedom Contracts worked with us on creating several different quotes, coming back by to talk about color and material options. They were always punctual, quick to respond, and incredibly patient with us. They did not push us, but wanted to make sure we were getting the final product we wanted. Once we agreed on the final plan, they were quick to go through the permitting process, scheduling the work and executing the work. We experienced very little disruption and they finished the project ahead of schedule. As they went about building the deck, they paid attention to detail and did a very thorough job. For example, they put in the extra effort to deliver a really high quality deck built to last by ensuring the framing was done correct, taking steps to mitigate water damage to the joists and base over time, and making sure the sides, stairs and railing have a really finished look. We are very very happy with the product and would certainly use them again.
