Fredrickson Masonry and Chimney Repair

Dylans company did an excellent , timely restoration of our fireplace chimney. Dylan personally came out to meet and chat with me about the work that was needed. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Dylan and his team were outstanding. We needed a chimney rebuilt from top to bottom on a century home, via a somewhat difficult access point. Dylan provided a very fair estimate for the work, maintained clear lines of communication about the schedule, and cleaned up everything (including repairing light damage). This is a repair I was not excited to pay for, but I'm happy to say that the outcome and experience was far better than I could have imagined.

Final note: I live in Minneapolis itself. Many of the other bids came from city-based crews, but Dylan outbid them all and had no problems navigating city permitting, etc. If you're in the urban core, don't be shy about considering Frederickson.

Dylan and his crew were the BEST!! We wanted to update the brick around our porch and garage when we replaced siding and they made it so easy for us. Great communication. They worked on our timeline. Kept things super tidy and safe for our kids and pets. Helped us update our pillar. We are so pleased with the results and things are still looking great 1 year later. Highly recommend.

Dylan, Jeremy and team did amazing work, on time and with utmost professionalism. They built the foundation and brick exterior for an elevator addition to our home. With the brick, I was impressed with Jeremy's attention to detail in curating and matching new brick mixed with recycled old brick to match the original 1940s look. 2-11-21. it was a pretty bad ice storm. I was working and i got stuck in my fed ex truck on a hill. after a few min of waiting i decided to walk to the top of the hill. after getting to the top of the hill i waved the first truck that rode passed. Dylan was asked to provide a quote on a new mailbox structure after the prior one had been destroyed by a WM garbage truck. They came out quickly and provided a detailed quote which was sent to Waste Management for review. They worked with WM to secure approval. The rebuild was done very cleanly and professionally. The new box looks great.

Dylan, and his team at FM, played a key role in renovating our 1921 stone built home. Our goal was restoration - plus an addition that needed to "blend" into the old home - while maintaining the integrity and character of the original stone.

They were creative, patient, and meticulous. Project included restoring the original chimneys with new caps, building a new chimney to "match" the old, tuckpointing the entire exterior, blending in a stone base exterior wall around our addition, and restoring/creating a brick wall to help bring life and charm to our "speakeasy". Our chimney looks great at a great price. They were quick to return our call and come over to give us an estimate. On-time, friendly, and cleaned up! We will definitely be repeat customers.

Had the chimney cap and bricks restored. Very fair estimate. Gave me a time frame of when they would be out to complete the work. Of course the week they were hoping to come out it rained either during the day or at night. They were in constant contact with me letting me know when the weather looked like it would cooperate so they could come out and complete the work. As they were completing the work they found a flue that was cracked. I was told they could fill the crack with silicon which would hold for a few years or just replace it. I did not feel pressured to purchase the new flue. The whole project only took them a few hours. They completed the project at the price they said they could do it. Chimney looks great now.

The brick and mortar on the side of the garage needed repair. Fredrickson Masonry came out, repaired the brick, cleaned up, and did an excellent job! Brad also touched up on the other side of the garage that I didn't notice. Very thoughtful! Brad also did repair at my mom's with the same problem! Thank you so much Fredrickson Masonry!

Two years later, and the mortar is a lot worse on both parts where they fixed the areas, twice. Pretty disappointed since it started just months after it was redone. Now it's a lot worse. :( Will have to find someone else to fix her brick.

I contracted Fredrickson Masonry to brick columns on each side of a garage remodel and expansion. In addition, I asked Dylan to repair the concrete cap atop my chimney.
