I’m writing this review in hopes of finally getting a response from the management team at Franklin’s office.
To start, I want to clarify that the usual workers who maintain our HOA lawn are great, this complaint does not reflect on their routine service. However, what happened on Wednesday, July 2nd, has left me extremely upset and disappointed with the lack of accountability from management.
On that day, fertilizer was applied to our yard without any notification. Typically, signs are placed around the neighborhood to indicate treatment, this time, no signage was posted. I had no idea chemicals had been sprayed until my 16-week-old puppy became violently ill (vomiting, lethargy, and other concerning behavior), and I rushed her to the vet. It was only after speaking with my neighbor (who also hadn’t seen any signs but had seen them treating my yard), that I learned fertilizer had been applied. If I would have known it was applied I usually take extra precautions for both of my dogs to avoid the expensive vet visits.
Naturally, I called the office to find out which product was used so I could give that information to the vet. No one answered. I called again later that night, still nothing. I understood it was a long weekend, so I waited, but now after five calls over the span of a week, no one from the office has returned my messages. Not even to check if my dog is okay.
This level of negligence and lack of communication is unacceptable. At the very least, I expect a lawn care company, especially one servicing pet-friendly neighborhoods, to notify residents when chemicals are applied. I also expect management to take responsibility and follow up when a pet’s health may have been affected by their services.
I truly hope someone from management sees this and takes it seriously. I would appreciate a prompt call back and some accountability taken- I have proof from the vet and proof of no signage that I would LOVE to share!
Would also love to say that if you are looking for services, I would skip this company and go with another for better communication and care for animals around the neighborhood! I would hate for any of this to happen to someone else!
Jim and the team did a fantastic job on working with me unexpectedly. We had our deck rebuilt by a family friend who does decks, and then we and realized we needed Jim to do landscaping and pavers below it to replace a concrete slab that had heaved over many years. Jim gave a timely quote, met and spoke with me several times, started the project when he stated, and came out and reviewed the work the day after it was finished. They did a complete job with attention to detail. Even details I did think were part of the project! So nice to have people do quality work and can be counted on. Thank you Jim and team.
My neighbor was having some landscape work, during that work I thought my irrigation had been damaged by Franklin. Franklin immediately came out the next morning to inspect my irrigation, turned out the issue was completely unrelated to their work. Charged me nothing for the diagnostic, were very friendly about the situation. Complete professionals, very much appreciated.
