We were impressed with the process. Mark explained everything in detail and it is obvious that he cares about the customer. We had a project that involved repairing the chimney chase, reshingling the roof and replacing the gutters. Communication was excellent as we were informed of the delays called by weather. They allocated workers to complete the work in stages and the workmanship was very impressive. The scheduling of the required dumpster was handled extremely well and consideration was always given to ensure it would be as little disruption to our daily needs. The cleanup of material was very good and we did not notice anything that was missed or left behind.
All in all it was a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this company for any of your home repair needs.

Mark and his crew were absolutely fantastic. They were extremely, professional, polite, prompt, and most of all on schedule. In golfing terms, they never missed a putt! I would highly recommend!

When other contractors found a issue with my mothers home during a restoration project they covered it up. My mother noticed something wrong and confronted the lead contractor with no help. They said it was not in the scope of the work they were to do. I contacted Mark, owner of Fox River, and he sent Kyle and Johnny over the next day. They ended up uncovering a serious problem with the siding and foundation that, if left unchecked, could have compromised the home over time. Kyle and Johnny fixed the issue quickly and professionally. They were so kind to my 82 year old mother, giving her assurances that everything would be fine and it was. Fox River Home Improvements has helped many members of my family with home issues. They are honest, give guidance instead of pushing a sale and stand behind their work and word.
In a world where there are people who try to steal and cheat it is nice to find a company you can trust.

Mark was so kind and I thought about all the things that I would have to do to replace my porch. Mark ended up cleaning out all the debris in my rain gutter, and that was the big issue. He was so understanding he talked to me and he made me feel so much better. I was feeling so so lost and I couldn’t understand what I shouldn’t do next and he told me that I shouldn’t do anything right now. The sun came out and he said you know your husband is looking out for you and he’s thinking about you and he wants you to be happy and not feel burdened with his porch. It just made me feel so good so thank you. I felt so much better afterwards. I’m so thankful he came. Mark is a great listener and truly guided me on another big decision about the porch my late husband built. I love my porch and home.

We have used Fox River to inspect and sweep our chimney, fix our chimney top, and install fascia on the front of our house. I cannot begin to describe how happy we are with the work that was completed. Every person that came was friendly, efficient, and did exemplary work. They were upfront about all costs and explained everything thoroughly to ensure we understood what needed to be done and why. Highly recommend.

We were referred to Fox River Home Improvements to remove an old fireplace insert. Mark and his team repaired the fireplace and also the repairing of the chimney. His knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. He took pictures to show us what needed to be repaired and pictures after completion.

Excellent work on our home’s siding, structural wood repaid and flashing. Very fair pricing , stayed with quote and even added a few hundred more dollars of extra work at the end to get it “just right” at the end, with no add-on charge. Very personable and professional. My highest recommendation.

We hired Fox River Home Improvements to fix the chimneys ( furnace & fireplace) on our 105 year old home. They showed up promptly every day, worked steadily, always cleaned up after themselves, were pleasant & friendly to have around, & went above & beyond our expectations. Fox River removed the rotting trim from our house and replaced it with a poly-ash product that doesn't absorb water and won't rot. Josh handled the whole project from initial inspection to final walk-through. He arrived on time with his crew, and they did a great job at a reasonable price. We love Mark! He is our go-to for everything now. He's so busy, it's always a wonder to me that he manages to be as incredibly responsive as he is. Our last incident was water traveling across our bathroom ceiling on a Saturday night. He was here to inspect it the next morning - on a Sunday! The repairs were done in half the time he originally indicated. He's also very kind and personable - to the point where my 3 year old daughter gave him a hug the last time he was here. Can't recommend him enough.

Great, family company that does their due diligence on inspections and communication. We used them for a chimney inspection on what had been described by other companies as a “weird” chimney. We were able to get a more accurate and detailed answer on all the on-goings. Looking forward to working with them in the future for chimney conversion to allow a gas insert.

This is a trustworthy local family business with a great work ethic! They came out on short notice and provided a thorough chimney inspection.

From the time we initially met Mark and he looked over our project, we were impressed. His professionalism and knowledge were evident. He came highly recommended by another contractor, and he did not disappoint. We needed a chimney rebuild and flashing around the two of levels that surrounded the area. We have a glass conservatory on the back of the house and I was very concerned that if an errant brick or piece of cement would go the wrong way, we would have a huge problem. Mark addressed my concerns and the day they began work, he arrived with sheet insulation, tarps and padding to protect the glass roof so I was very comfortable before we began. The group showed up early on the first day of work, all smiling and eager to begin. They erected scaffolding and tarps and all worked very professionally and finished the job in the three days as promised. Each day they cleaned up everything and unless you looked up at the roof and chimney, you would never know they were doing anything.
The chimney looks like the original, he took the time to get the bricks that would blend into the original. They replaced some wood on the roof that had some water damage, replaced the shingles around the flashing and everything is back to normal and even better that new. I would highly recommend Mark and his team to tackle any type of repair.

Mark and his team are absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond again and again, including notifying you of other issues you may not have known about. I cannot recommend Mark and his team enough, and I will most def. be using them in the future. You can't ask for a better guy and one you know is going to have your best interests at heart.

We noticed water running down our chimney base after the heavy rains back in August. Mark came out to patch up the chimney as a temporary fix until he was able to fit us in to his busy schedule. Mark and his team installed a new chimney liner, removed the old chimney and rebuilt the roof decking to fit a brand new vent. Mark's work is meticulous and 100% quality. Mark and his team are extremely personable and were a pleasure to work with.

I highly recommend this company! A small water leak in my ceiling turned out to be caused by a crumbling chimney on my house. Also, my hot water heater wasn’t venting fully because the chase was blocked with debris. Mark was professional, knowledgeable, and genuine, and he and his team expertly took care of the problems in record time. THIS is how all companies should do business! Five stars!

Extremely happy with the service I received from Mark and the whole Fox River crew. Recently purchased a home during the winter to find out that whole family of birds was occupying my attic in the spring/summer, making holes and nests in all my roof vents. Received several quotes from contractors in the area but I felt I could trust Mark the most as he knew exactly what needed to be done and made it a priority job. All other contractors wanted to push my job out 8 weeks but mark said he could do it the next week as he knew it was a problem that needed to be fixed before more damage was done. Fantastic service, will be using them for all future home improvement repairs down the road. highly recommend.

Absolutely Amazing!

I came home on a Wednesday night and noticed some gutter damage from the winds we’ve received. It was 6:03 pm. I called Fox River, thinking I’d get a voicemail and arrange an appointment sometime the following week. Nope. I got the owner. I explained the situation, sent him two pictures and long story short: The repairs we made by 9 am the next morning (and for a very reasonable price). He’s going to quote doing our entire roof now, too.

What a great experience we had with this company. Mark was our first person that we had the privilege to meet to give us a quote. What a great personality this guy has, which makes you feel very comfortable right away. We decided to go with them and would recommend them 100%. The crew arrived at 7:00 AM with temps in the mis 30’s and soon stated to remove the 2 layers of shingles. Shortly after it started to rain and then snow. The team never slowed down and I applaud them because I was inside in a cozy home. The clean up crew placed tarps all around our house an started picking up all the shingles and placing them in the dumpster that was supplied to us. I know that’s not a small task but that did a great job. I hope my recommendation will encourage to give them a chance to help you.

We had an active leak in our roof and the guys came out right away to patch it up. They were very thorough and super friendly.
I really liked that they went upstairs to look at the roof and inspect the leak instead of just suggesting a quick flashing, like some other places mentioned, which would not have fixed the problem.
Will definitely be using them again if we encounter any other roofing problems in the future.

Would recommend Mark and his crew for any home improvement project. He helped me with a serious chimney issue, not only fixing the issue but taking time to explore why it was happening when other contractors failed to diagnose the problem. Very timely and courteous.
