Great all around service. I had my roof and gutters done at the same time. I was always informed of the schedule. Given names of contacts if I had any questions. Chris was very accommodating as well. The best part is the price. It was affordable for a middle income family. My neighbor had his roof done and it cost him three times as much with a different contractor. Additionally, a house down the road is currently getting a new roof through someone else. It is the fourth day they have been working on it. Two of those days were in the rain and I could clearly see the plywood roof getting wet. Five star homes got my roof done in one day. The gutters only took a few hours as well. All in all, I can’t think of anything I would change. Top notch experience the whole way. Thanks guys!

My buddy and I just bought a home and needed the roof to be replaced. I had to get multiple quotes and I have never had a roof replaced so didn’t have much knowledge on the subject. Five Star Homes popped out because they had very competitive pricing and they have a guy named Omar working for them and he did an excellent job reaching out to me to see if I had any questions and he did indeed know what he was talking about because he explained the whole process and what exactly they’d be doing. They were also very understanding that it needed to be done sooner than later for insurance purposes and got the roof replaced in 2 days which is crazy. The whole process was about 2 weeks roughly. Overall, very happy and impressed by the work these guys put in and would recommend for any future work. Thank you

The team at 5 Star Home’s gets a 5 Star rating! They provided an estimate in a timely manner, they showed up when they said they would and did a wonderful job for a fair price. They aren’t just painters either. They do it all. We had the gutters replaced and some rotted siding replaced along with roof repairs. My home is in Cannon Beach and it is a vacation rental so I’m not there to supervise work. Also being on the Coast is tough on a house and you want the work done right! Having a reliable and professional contractor to do the work at a fair price means everything! My house looks great again and I didn’t have to hire several different contractors to get it done. Thank you, thank you 5 Star! Totally recommend them.

5 Stars for Five Star! Chris and his team did a bunch of work for us including a new roof, Gutters, and Painting. Everybody we interacted with, at all times, was courteous and professional. The work was completed on or before the times we were quoted and follow up was done to make sure the work met our standards and their even higher standards.
I couldn't be any happier with the final results and I would feel comfortable recommending Five Star to any of my closest friends or family.

I'll add my 5 star review to all the other 5 star reviews for 5 Star Roofing. They're just great to work with...the kind of customer service that can only come with smaller/family owned businesses. (Yes, there are still businesses out there which are caring and conscientious!) Our condo building had gutter repair last year but the leaks persisted. 5 Star arrived a few days after we signed off on their very reasonably priced bid. They finished the work mere hours before a huge atmospheric river hit town. The gutters were perfect! Not a drop of overflow from gutters which previously resembled a waterfall in certain sections. We're very happy with them---they're "keepers!"

Beginning with the very courteous and friendly introductory phone call with Stephanie, and the timely and professional job site visit and thorough quote from Omar, our expectations for a quality job were quite high. And those expectations were fulfilled. Their distributor who delivered the product to our roof was also extremely professional, proficient and courteous. But, the best part was our awesome three-man crew who worked four full days (not consecutively because of the snow storm) without taking a break. In addition, they corrected a gutter design flaw that could have potentially lead to leaking around our chimney (by applying a downspout extension) all on their own. They also reconnected bathroom roof vents ductwork in our attic. And, they finish painted all roof vents and attic fans to match the new composition and flashing. It’s beautiful. The jobsite (our residence) was spotless when they left on the final day. Just like their name, this entire company rates five stars from us. Brad Halverson.

Omar did a great job of showing us the different options and never tried to upsell us. He was very transparent and my husband really appreciated how the costs were broken down on the estimates. They gave us different estimates based on materials. They addressed our concerns every step of the way.

Five Star just replaced our roof and the whole experience was positive. Chris and Stephanie were both very communicative and helpful in scheduling and the estimate process. The crew was great and left everything super tidy when they finished. I often feel nervous as a homeowner with contractors coming to the house who don’t show up on time, don’t keep me in the loop on what’s going on or don’t take time to explain estimates and options I have in the project. I didn’t feel that way at all with Five Star and would recommend them to everyone.

Five Star Roofing is the best! A couple of the neighbors used the big name company with all the billboard ads, which had 12 people on the roof, playing loud music, who finished in one day. Five Star had only 4 guys and completed the whole roof in one day. Cleaned up all around and my roof looks fantastic! Nicest guys ever, from the sales guys that did the install to the actual roofers. Best bonus was the lower cost!! They came out and inspected what we had, informed of what is now code and our roof was missing, showed us three options, good, better and best. No high pressure sales pitch. Kept asking if we had any questions along the way, keep in contact really well and got us installed in just a couple of weeks. Even helped us find a solar company to take our panels down and put them back up for a lot less then we were quoted elsewhere. I give them an A+ in my book.

Had 5 star out to do a roof inspection just to stay on top of maintenance. Omar did a great job, and took pictures of all potential issues. If those issues do lead to leaks, I wouldn’t hesitate to have five star out to do the work.

Very pleased with the work performed by Five Star Roofing. Very professional in terms of evaluating my specific needs and coming up with a couple of options for us to choose from. They run a tight ship and were able to get us scheduled and the work completed in a short window of time. I wound up adding on replacement gutters, which they again managed for me. I am very pleased with the final result, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I was actually referred to them by a neighbor who had their roof done earlier in the summer.

We had such a great experience with Five Star Roofing. We had a unique glass roof that had suffered damage and needed repair. Five Star Roofing came out right away to assess the problem and offered an estimate on the spot. They were quick to schedule the project and provided an excellent finished result. I enjoyed my roof replacement experience, I learnt a little about the materials and process, and i am very pleased with the results.
I decided to replace my roof when some door-to-door people had me worried that there may be moisture damage. Five Star Roofing representative, Chris, verified the roof inside and out and showed me that it was healthy - and gave me pointers on how to recognize salesmen who try to trick me. Since my roof was 27yo, i decided to fix it even though it wasn't broken. I feel safe and relaxed now.
And did i mention, i love the mosaic pattern the tiles make.

Chris & team were very thorough and professional from start to finish. The quoting process was in depth and very low pressure. They include a consultation with a designer to help guide you in picking colors and we were put on their schedule right away. His quote was the best value. He arranged us to meet with their design consultant, Mary, which helped us choose colors and we felt it was a very valuable exercise. The painting crew led by Daniel was outstanding and they competed the work as they estimated without a hitch. We were very pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail.

Amazing working with this company from start to finish! I received 3 separate quotes from roofing companies before going with 5 Star. We worked with Omar. He was very communicative, helped us get samples before making a final color selection, and followed through with all promises! The construction crew was incredible and not only installed a beautiful roof, they were very mindful of my garden and plants. Upon completion, our our property was left clean and all debris picked up. We would give them 10 STARS IF POSSIBLE!

They were very quick to get supplies and start the work of replacing shingles. During the removal they noticed the plywood was also bad and quickly notified me and got additional supply's to complete the addition work. They took many photos so I could see clearly what needed to be done. Overall the team did a great job, kept me updated thruout the job and cleaned up after they were all done. Highly recommended.

Our experience with Five Star Roofing was excellent from start to finish. Chris worked with us from estimation through completion and provided great communication and customer service throughout the entire job. Chris was the only estimator that went into our attic to assess the status of the plywood. He discovered some rot and was able to predict how much replacement plywood was necessary so it was all in the bid - no surprises. The bid was very detailed and provided 3 complete options. Other companies gave less visibility into their estimate and only one option.
The crew arrived early, worked diligently, were friendly, took care to not damage flowerbeds and cleaned up well.
Five Star provided a link to a site with many images of the work in progress. This allowed me to really see the original state of the roof as well as what they replaced. It gave me great confidence that they were doing a fantastic job.

We had a great experience with Five Star Roofing for a new roof so had Chris bid for the house paint job. His bid was very competitive. Better, he has a professional consultant that he pays for come out to consult with us on our color selection. She guided us to coordinate the body and accent colors to the brick and roof. This is an invaluable bonus. Chris was excellent in communication. His crew were professional, conscientious with the landscaping, cleaned up the job site daily. We had a very positive experience with Five Star Roofing and highly recommend them for both roof and paint jobs.

I have to say that I did my due diligence and should’ve just followed my intuition and went with Five Star Roofing & Painting on the first. They were honest, transparent and affordable. Chris was very friendly to work with, was patient with all our questions. There was a small hiccup in communication early in the job but it was quickly resolved and we are very happy with the results. The painter was friendly and courteous, really appreciated his patience as well.

Chris with Five Star Roofing went the extra mile for us! We were out of state when a terrible wind went through our neighborhood and our neighbor sent us some pictures of some damage that was done to our roof. We called and Chris went to our home within a half hour of our call to him to access the damage. He recommended a new roof because of the poor quality and workmanship of the roof. He sent a quote then put us in touch with his project manager - Omar and the work was completed within 2 weeks! A recent winter storm delivered a one-two punch of causing tree damage to my roof and blowing snow through the skylight seals of my house. Five Star Roofing did an awesome job repairing the damage and replacing the ancient, leaky skylights. No more snow indoors!
