Receive a call from the head office wanting more money. My mom had called the local office Monday to let them know that she had a check for another almost $320.00 here at the house and Loren didn’t know if she could make it by that day. Are you kidding me this is bringing this to almost 61,000.00 and we couldn’t get another estimate but the estimate was lower than that when we started. This sure sounds like taking advantage of the elderly..

The company its self its t that great but the only employee that I would recommend would be Michael Chang. Michael goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done professionally and the way his house would look. The company could care less they are just there to gaft the insurance it went from $30,000 to 51,000.

We had a storefront that was damaged on a holiday weekend. Called First Choice restoration and they immediately had someone over and had it patched up within a few hours. Was extremely grateful they could help, and were open on a holiday weekend. Will be our go-to company in the future

We are beyond disgusted with the service of First Choice. We had a kitchen water leak FEBRUARY 16th that damaged walls and flooring. Today is JUNE 5th and the project is still unfinished. This is after we repeatedly expressed we have two families coming to visit YESTERDAY.

First Choice did come promptly to do the mitigation work. Afterwards we had delay after delay until finally the project manager came for us to sign the paperwork beginning of APRIL. He then explained that they were waiting for insurance to go forward despite the fact there were funds available for mitigation and wall repair. The money issue wasn’t a real issue as we were willing and able to pay up front in case the insurance money wasn’t available. The project manager claimed they couldn’t start until the flooring cost was approved. The flooring wasn’t an immediate issue and didn’t need to be done right away. Fairly soon we notified them the insurance money had come through for everything except the flooring. But only minor efforts happened. Meanwhile we had protective paper on the flooring throughout our kitchen, entry, down the stairs and into the room with water damage since FEBRUARY 16th. We only recently gave up and ripped it all out. Despite these facts and despite a great deal of patience on our part and despite the fact they were aware we had family coming YESTERDAY this rather small project hasn’t been completed.

We are generally very easy to get along with people but we have gone beyond our limit of patience.

We are done with this company.

I had my carpets cleaned by first choice restoration last week and these guys did a fantastic job. Jayden and Justin are very hard workers and very professional. Nanette set everything up for me with the carpet cleaning and it was perfect, I didn’t have to make any calls on when they would be there or if I had to be there to let them in to clean. Nanette took care of it all and was very helpful and professional. Thank you First Choice for the fantastic job your people did, I will use you for anything I need around my home. Very pleased with the work of Michael Chang and Larry. They show up early, communicate very well with us, and work well together to ensure the job gets done. Cainen and his crew were so accommodating to our staff and residents. Cainen was professional, accessible for questions and follow up, and very helpful. Restoration in health care facilities can be complex and they were patient and respectful. Very happy with their customer service! They were prompt in their response to dry out water damage so that the restoration work needed was minimal. Also offered great pricing for the restoration.

Cainen and his team were fantastic! They all communicated wonderfully and finished our project so that the damage caused from a leaky pipe looked just as it did before! I hesitated at first since there were some not-so-good reviews from the past, but DON’T hesitate! The team was GREAT and the company is under new management since those old reviews posted. WELL DONE!

Big shout out to Michael and Colin for putting our bathroom back together in an efficient and timely manner. Michael is very professional and skilled. He was always on time and worked hard to get the job done, without making a mess or disrupting our home life. Cainen, the project manager, was also very responsive and knowledgeable and made sure everything was going smoothly. I hope I never have another water leak again, but if I do, I won’t hesitate to call these guys.

We are pleased to write a review of Michael Chang and his work for us during our extensive restoration and remodeling in April and May, 2023, after a water leak, with significant damage to 2 rooms. Michael is the most skilled, reliable, dependable, kind, considerate, and hard-working individual we've ever had in our home. He was able to accomplish every single task with high energy and expertise. He was always on time, and went far above and beyond what was required, with frequent communication and updates. He never failed to meet his goals and our goals. He entered and left without any disruption to us. Michael took extreme care to keep dust and dirt and debris to a minimum, and quickly removed even huge amounts of material (like a torn out jet tub and large surrounding deck), so that we were seldom aware of the mess. He thoroughly cleaned every area every day. He expertly laid new flooring in record time. Michael was energetic, knowledgeable and respectful; truly one in a million. Dog chewed hose bib and broke line they were there very quick to help. Awesome people Cainen and hunter were awesome. I highly recommend this company

I called First Choice Resterations and they were at my house 10 minutes took a look around and and called Hunter to bring all there fans and dryer. He was a a very nice young man. He came everyday sometimes twice on time aways Hunter was a very nice guy to work with.

I had a small septic spill from a damaged sewer line. Plumber said I had to have a "Professional" cleaning company come out before the plumber would come out. Told them I could easily clean it up in about ten minutes, but was told I had to use a professional cleaner. Okay, I get that so I went online to check potential costs and found that the average cost to clean up this type of spill is $7.00 a square foot. Did a quick check of my spill (20 square feet). Realizing this is a small spill and they would have some fixed costs, I figured $15.00 to maybe $20.00 a square foot. first choice charged me over $780.00, including tax for what should have been at most a half hours worth of work. Shoppers beware.

After I accidentally flooded part of my basement, I called them late one night. The first person was on the scene within hours, clearly knowledgeable about what to do and assessed the damage quickly. They set up the dryers and humidifiers and whatever else, told me what I needed to do and what to expect, and they turned my stupid mistake into an inconvenience and nothing more.
