Let me start with the fact I used this company last year to clean my pellet stove, they did a fine job, and I thought I would use them again this year. That has turned about to be a tremendous mistake. I scheduled them for annual service on 2 August and was rescheduled the day of for 31 august. On the 31st, the gentleman determined they needed two people and rescheduled me again for the 16th of September. Only one, different person arrived on the 16th and in the process of trying to clean our pellet stove himself, broke it. The stove was working the night before and during service, be cause a short that cause the stove to stop functioning. When we were told that our stove had a short and wasn’t working, they said they would come the next day to change the fuse. Instead, we were told it might be a bigger problem with the whole control panel and that they would have to order the part and fit us when they could. They came the 24th of September to see if they could find a fuse in town that might be the issue, but when they couldn’t we were told we wouldn’t be put on the schedule until the parts arrived. I heard nothing for weeks on in the second week of October I followed up and was told the parts were scheduled to arrive 14 October. I hear nothing again until I reached out on the 18th asking if they arrived. I was told yes, and they were trying to squeeze us into their schedule for the 19th and if we couldn’t make the 19th work, we would have to wait another 10 days because they are “jam packed.” My husband and I both work full time and I had already made arrangements to be available on four other occasions. They gave me less than 24 hours to be home in a 2 hour block during the workday or else I would have to wait even longer. I made today, the 19th, work by taking time off work and they came to change the fuse and control panel. Well the stove is still broken and apparently they now think there is a short somewhere else in the stove. They’ll have to call the manufacturer to try and trouble shoot and come out to my house, yet again, to try something else. What should have been a very simple service to clean the pellet stove has now turned into an ordeal where I’ve missed substantial time from work to be available and that has lasted nearly three months. The lack of communication on their end and failure of an effort to make this right in a timely fashion has been utterly unacceptable. With temperatures dropping everyday the decision to use this company to clean what used to be a completely functional stove, will be costing me hundreds in heating fuel while my pellet stove continues to sit broken.
