I found EMS to be very thorough, professional and well priced. After conducting their assessment of my home, I was given two options on how to best address the (lack of) insulation issues. Before proceeding I shared this with a builder who will be making modifications to my house; he wanted to see if he could roll the work into what he would be doing. He suggested I use EMS since the pricing was reasonable - he couldn’t do any better for me. Given all this I highly recommend EMS.

The energy mgmt solutions that serviced my home were EXCELLENT. They were not only professional but also polite ,efficient and very clean. Keeping me abreast of things as it progressed. They work well together and as the home owner I would recommend my friend and family to take full advantage of this program. You will not be disappointed. GREAT JOB GUYS.

We were very pleased with our experience at EMS from start to finish. Mark, our assessor, was very knowledgeable and thorough during our walk through. I learned a lot about my house and got a few physics lessons along the way. Our installation crew of Rob, Sergio and Ivan were excellent - they explained everything, were neat, professional and friendly. I asked them to go back and change one small thing at the end of the job which they promptly did. And finally Nancy at the office was awesome with scheduling, helping us with prep and billing. A pleasure to work with. Vinnie also called to check in after the job was complete which was a nice gesture.

Our house felt more comfortable almost immediately after the work was completed. We feel this was a good investment based on increasing our comfort at home and also trying to minimize our ConEd bills as best as we can. Would 100% recommend!

I had energy evals/recommendations from 3 different companies. I was very impressed with the practical solutions the lead assessor from EMS made for my home. His recommendations were tailored for my home and not a "this is what we do" plan. The recommendations made sense and were, equally important, affordable. Energy management solutions came and did work on our home, they were very clear with directions in order to prepare us for the work to be done, they did excellent work and got everything done in a timely manner. The employees conducting the work were very respectful and did a great job cleaning up after the work was completed. We had insulation put in our attic and crawl space and we definitely feel a big difference in our home since having the work done. We are very happy with the quality of work they performed.

Everything was scheduled on time, the adm office very good in communicating, the crew leave everything clean every day. Now is summer and I am keeping the house on 74f and ut feels cool, so imagine that winter season will give me a warm home.

Home energy management solutions met my homes needs of making the house more energy efficient. John and his boys were extremely polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. My house was built in 1933 and has no insulation. When the wind blows you can feel it inside my house. It was BAD!! Frozen pipes every year....

I contacted a few insulation companies but the methods they proposed did not interest me. Contacted EMS and they came out to assess and propose a method which really interested me. So I engaged with EMS

EMS came when they said they would. The crew was professional and spent a few days here. They removed the floorboards in the attic and blew in 18" or more of blown insulation plus adding catwalks and sealed every crack. They spray foamed the basement along the foundation. Shawn and team cleaned up and left my house spotless as this was a dirty job but they were pros...

After they left, my wife and I looked at each other and said WOW What a difference!!! Its not drafty, and its WARM!!! and I can see the thermostat not on as much.

The guys were excellence personified. Always wore shoe covers in the house and always cleaned up every day after they completed their work. They were personable and excellent with the pets! At the end of the day, I was given a solid overview on the work that was done and what was to be expected the next day. I am very satisfied!

We contracted EMS for attic and basement insulation. The assessor Tristan thoroughly measured the area, made recommendations and patiently answered many questions. Sean and his team completed an excellent job ahead of schedule. My husband marveled at how the team got to the tight spaces in the attic. Our house is now a lot less leaky and much warmer. Great company. Thorough evaluation and assessment from Ryan, and fantastic and professional service and installation from Mario and his crew. Our house was freezing and is now cozy.

Very professional and extremely clean, they came in and explained what they were doing thoroughly. And, in the course of working they found ducts that were not attached and they corrected the situation. All told, I am very happy with their work and pleased that they were so nice.

I hired EMS to insulate my attic to help regulate the temperature on my top floor. As soon as the work was completed I noticed an immediate and drastic difference. We used EMS for insulation and they were clean, very professional and thorough. It was done recently so it's hard to tell much of a difference with mild weather but in some rooms that were outliers it already feels more like the rest of the house.

We hired Energy Management Solutions (EMS) to insulate our home in Westchester and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. The team was professional and friendly and did great work, but there were two things that really impressed me. First, on day 2 they accidentally made a small hole in our ceiling trying to access a small, tricky area upstairs. They told us immediately and apologized. Then they brought in a great contractor to fix the hole so we wouldn't know it was ever there. That team ended up repainting the entire ceiling because that's what was required to do the job right. Second, a day or two after the whole job was complete they reached back out to us because in the process of reviewing the photos they take during the work they realized they had missed an area in our crawl space. They came back a few days later to insulate that section and fully close the "thermal envelope" of our house. We wouldn't have known but they did it anyway. I was impressed with everyone we dealt with - Ryan, Tom, Vinnie, Jose, Nancy, and everyone else - but EMS's integrity as a company is the thing that makes them special. I'd definitely work with them again, and I recommend them very enthusiastically.

EMS did an amazing job at insulating our house. They were exceptional at guiding us from the beginning (energy assessment) to the end (installation and financing). After just a month of having our house insulated, we were already able to feel and see a difference in the cost of heating our home. Although we had issues with our siding after the insulation project, shout out to Vinnie and Mario for working with us to resolve our issues. Amazing job all around!

The team treated my house like it was their own and left it in immaculate shape every afternoon when finished. They made my house more efficient! They did foam insulation in my attic & insulated my windows & doors! My heating bills are pretty much non existent! I pray that I will have the same efficiency in the summer when the Central Air is on! They were very clean & very respectful of my house! I used the service of EMS thru the Sealed company for sealing my attic and basement. EMS workers were very helpful and very professional. It's too early to tell the difference now but within few days I can definitely feel the difference and my heating system runs less now than before sealing.

Ryan did our energy audit. They handled the paperwork. They showed up on time. Did all the work agreed to. Our house has been more comfortable since they finished their work in October. They made it easy and they performed in an honest manner.

EMS recently winterized my house (that means fully insulated the house - all my external facing walls in the house, the attic, crawl space, + garage) through a NYSERDA program (really wonderful program too!).

The person who oversaw the project was Mr. Pink, and a gentleman named Sean and his wonderful team did the work. They explained everything they were doing, they did a GREAT job, and I was amazed by how clean they left the place every day after their work was finished. They said they needed one week and they were done in one week! Very sweet, polite guys. It was really easy to have them around for a week.

A woman named Nancy at EMS also was super helpful in preparing me for the work, kept me updated about my project's start date.

Did free home energy assessment with this company, which was okay, have heard more energy tips from other insulation contractors that were not included in this report. Found $5k minimum for work to be frustrating so ultimately choosing another vendor.

These young men came in and did some wall insulation and some touching up outside as well. Very polite and efficient. When they left I didn’t even know that they had been here. Jose and Sergio, thank you.

EMS did a great job insulting my attic, walls, sealing doors and windows, and installing energy efficient bulbs, smoke alarms, and co2 detectors. Angel and Carlos, the young men completing the job, were professional, courteous, and diligent workers. Nancy, in the office, was prompt and courteous in responding to my calls and emails. Ryan, the supervisor, did the initial and final inspection, and was very thorough and courteous. He answered all of my questions and concerns. He also followed the work progress until the job was completed. And lastly, Vinny, who called to follow up and ask for my feedback about the job was a pleasure to speak to. I would highly recommend this company and give them a 5 star rating.

I had multiple services performed thru EMS. It included the complete removal of old attic insulation and not only new cellulose installed but fireproofing, plywood platforms, sealing ducts, venting where applicable, tenting main attic hatch and the list goes on. All very necessary and done with professionalism and an experienced skillset. Wonderful group to work with and I would highly recommend their team!

Following an energy audit of our home by EMS, a number of areas were identified that needed attention to make us more energy efficient. They gave us info about a grant from NYSERDA that covered a large portion of the cost of doing the upgrades, then scheduled the work. Everyone involved, from the scheduling to the work crew were professional, competent and courteous. Everything went like clockwork, in fact, we got the work done a month earlier than first promised because they had a crew in the area who'd finished another job sooner than expected! They did a spectacular job & cleaned up after themselves! And the results have been wonderful. Our A/C bills were 20-25% lower than last year and we're confident we'll be saving money on heating bills as well. This is a great company. Five starts doesn't seem like enough!

They communicated with me every step of the way from beginning to end including dealing with government red tape and financing. Under promised and over performed. On time every time. Replaced dryer exhaust at no charge. Replaced vapor barrier instead of just sealing. Waited patiently while emergency roof repairs were performed. Just a joy to deal with EMS.

Insulated attic and basement crawl spaces. Sealed all gaps at foundation and in attic. Techs worked quickly and cleaned up after they were done each day. Excellent communication with the office (Nancy) and all questions were answered completely.

Overall, we're very pleased and satisfied with EMS. Ryan was very generous with his time, answering questions and helping us find the most effective course of action while staying within our budget. Tyler and Nick were super friendly and respectful, and did a fantastic job in not always the easiest circumstances (there was serious roadwork being done outside our house some of the days they were here). We could immediately feel the difference from the work that was done. Our attic, which was unbearably hot in warm weather, became quite comfortable afterward. I have no doubt that the effectiveness of the work will become all the more apparent this winter. We would definitely hire EMS again.

The work EMS did was to remove all existing insulation and seal and insulate my attic, and to insulate between joists at the rim joists in the basement. The work was thoroughly planned by a company rep, and carefully executed by an experienced 3-person team. They completely cleaned up/vacuumed the work area and adjacent areas. The team foreman was courteous, and met with me on the day that work began to insure that we were all in agreement as to the scope and details of the work to be performed.

The installers we had were Nick and Tyler. Very friendly and professional and willing to answer any questions! We are very pleased with the work that they have done! I would highly recommend EMS to anyone.

Energy Management Solutions was fantastic every step of the way. Ryan came to our house and did a very thorough audit. He explained all the ways the insulation in our house could be improved to save on heat bills and make our house more energy efficient. I was pleased to have Tyler (crew lead/supervisor) and Nick from EMS to work on my house. Upon arrival, Tyler was very efficient in his approach wanting to get the work done on the house. It was quite a project that needed to be done on the house (insulating the whole attic, blow insulation on all walls, etc) and Tyler had a good coordination to get all the tasks done. I discovered Energy Management Solutions (EMS) through the Sealed program. EMS was contracted by them to insulate my attic and basement. With Covid, there were understandable delays, however Nancy kept me apprised of the schedule at all times. The actual work was completed last week. The crew was extremely friendly and professional. They let me know what they were doing and when they were doing it. At completion they had me inspect the work and I was very impressed. I happened onto EMS by chance, but it turned out to be very lucky chance, and I would not hesitate to recommend them for your home energy efficiency needs.

Very professional, every person I came into contact with at the company was friendly and very knowledgeable The job they did was outstanding, I was in awe of the work they did. The attention to detail was amazing, they made a very big project stress free. I’m confident I made the correct choice. Update: still in process of renovation. Not in the home, but I’ve been running the AC for over a month for the flooring. 72 degrees. My orange and Rockland bill only increased 50 dollars. This is about the insulation. Amazing. Could not be happier.

Work with this company!

Energy Management Solutions did an excellent job insulating our home. Vinny and his team were wonderful. They were quick and they were clean! Even though they were in and out of the house to do the job, they never made a mess. The temperature in our house is finally stable. I wish we'd done this sooner! I highly recommend EMS.

These guys were efficient, on time, and effective. Had rim joists and blown-in insulation in the late fall, and the house was clearly warmer all winter. The workers were all east to deal with. 2 day job. Highly recommended.

EMS brings the "Hyyge" experience to New Jersey and New York

Thomas McGinn, Sam, Sean and the rest of the EMS team provided professional, outstanding and most excellent service these past two weeks as we worked to insulate our home.

The property was constructed in 1958 and had minimal insulation, the wall cavities were bare, and at best an R7 to R9 in the attics.

Thomas prepared an accurate estimate for the work to remedy these extensive problems and led his team tirelessly as they removed all the old infested insulation, sealed all wall boundaries, built new elevated storage platforms, dams, protected the soffits, installed radiant barriers in the eaves, blew cellulose into the wall cavities from the outside, replaced shingles, foam sealed all all 74 pot lights throughout the upper and lower attics, dense packed the garage ceiling with cellulose, installed foam radiant bariers on those walls of the garage that faced the inside of our home.

They did absolutely everything, and most importantly, each day they sealed off our home with plastic sheeting, floor to ceiling, screening off rooms and hallways from the dust and debris kicked up work by the removal of old fiberglass or the installation of new celloluse insulation.

I recommend EMS without reservation, Thomas and his team were fantastic.

Our home is quiet in a way it never was before, and of course so much warmer, the furnace no longer cycles incessantly in cold weather. There is a peace and warmth and cosiness that the Danish know as "Hyyge".

We had EMS come in and complete the Attic sealing / insulation and some wall insulation. Good experience like the last time - good communication from the ground team, project manager, office staff. They answered all my questions, left the place clean and were wearing masks. They completed the state rebate program as well. Our Attic looks clean and well insulated. Highly recommended

Living room adjacent to the Garage was very cold / hot during winter / summer. EMS came and did a energy audit for the entire place and gave me a itemized quote for addressing various issues. We went with just the insulation for walls in the living room. The team that came in were very professional and cleaned up after they were done. We had couple of minor cracks in the dry wall after the insulation was done but they patched that up as well. Have been thru one summer and approaching winter and think it has noticeable effect.
