I called on Friday afternoon and explained that I was under a time crunch due to an inspection. It was not an emergency so I thought it would take awhile. We recently woke up to a power outage on one side of our kitchen -- of course the side with the refrigerator and of course the day after we had gone grocery shopping. We saw all of Brooklyn's great customer reviews, so we called him and he arrived later that morning. He was very thoughtful about keeping in touch with us to say exactly when he'd be arriving. And, once here, he was professional, knew his stuff and solved the issue quickly. He also had everything he needed to fix the issue right there in his truck, which made the process very efficient. While here, he checked various fuses and breakers and helped us understand what might need attention some time in the future. Brooklyn was a huge help in an urgent situation, but we could tell he'd be a good partner to have if we had a construction project or something more involved. Highly recommend his services!

Enchanted Electric - highest recommendation! About 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon, I smelled burning plastic (no smoke) in our closet where the breaker panel is located. In a panic, I googled ‘electricians’ and Brooklyn was the only one to respond. He advised me to shut off the power to the entire house - he was finishing up another job, but arrived in 30 minutes. He immediately diagnosed the problem & fixed the breaker - and checked all of the connections & grounding wires in the panel. Absolutely thorough & professional!! The owner of Enchanted Electric, CD, is extremely knowledgeable and a great electric and solar power troubleshooter. My home was broken into by thieves that ransacked and destroyed everything in my home which included extensive damage to both household and solar array electrical systems. The thieves were planning on taking everything, solar batteries, solar inverters, solar panels, copper in wires, everything. Thieves tore into the panel box removing cable wires as well. I called around to several electrical companies, trying to find someone certified for solar repair before I was lucky enough to run across CD. Enchanted Electric fit me in to their busy schedule for an emergency issue at my rental property. CD was knowledgeable and professional and fixed the issue. I highly recommended them.

Expensive but worth it. We were without power and needed the work done NOW. I was sick of leaving voice mails and in most cases not even getting a callback. Enchanted actually answered the phone, explained the pricing, showed up, and did the work to a high standard.

We needed our Rivian Wall Charger installed and selected CD "Brooklyn" to do the job based on customer reviews. He did not disappoint! He went above and beyond. Few Rivian Wall Chargers have been installed in New Mexico. Also, the Rivian manual for the charger is not as complete as it could be for a trouble free installation. CD reached out to Rivian Customer Service to get needed information. He went the extra mile to ensure it was correctly located and fully functional for our new Rivian.

In preparing to install the new circuit breakers for the wall charger, he identified two circuit breakers for our second garage that were not up to code. To avoid any future insurance issues along with our safety, we had CD upgrade them to meet code.

When we add another EV, we will definitely contact CD to both upgrade our electrical services from 150 to 200 amps and install another wall charger.

An absolutely first-rate transaction. CD was completely transparent about pricing, arrived on time, explained what needed to be done at important points, and accommodated me when I asked him to address additional issues beyond the original scope of the work. Given how carefully he explained the nature of the work I also am very confident in the quality of the work. Finding a professional home contractor of this quality in any field is a godsend.

Update on 3/12/24...CD came in to my home today to continue work on checking and upgrading electric outlets. The visit reinforced my existing view. The most important factors for me are how confident I am in the work and the extent to which the contractor does business reliably. Enchanted Electric definitely seems first-rate on both counts.

If I could give zero stars I would - avoid CD and Enchanted Electric unless you want to get taken for a very expensive ride. The fact that he makes you sign a legal agreement before he’ll even come look at the job should be your first red flag and I wished I had just listened to my intuition about that (but he talks a good game). He showed up without the parts needed, after we had specifically discussed what he needed to bring. He stretched a 30 min job to two hours including charging me his full $375/hour (!) rate for running the errand to get the part! But I had already signed his legal document so I was stuck no matter what. He also tried to scare me into doing a much bigger job than was needed.

I had to have the work re-done two weeks later but I wasn’t about to have him back to my home, regardless of his “guarantee”. The next electrician literally charged me just a fraction of what I paid CD - and the second guy came prepared and redid the work in less than 30 minutes - no legal agreement necessary! Stay away!

CD is a true professional. He re-wired a new sauna heater for us and even though the instructions were terrible and the space available was limited he was able to figure out the proper way to complete the install. I was impressed with his work ethic.

There was a brief few days between a short in a receptacle and leaving on a trip. I was able to reach CD immediately by phone and he fit me into a busy schedule. He came to the house 24h after my first call, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, and took steps to prevent it from happening again. We were able to leave on our trip without any concerns about a fault in our wiring. This is the second time I have used Enchanted Electric and both times CD has been easy to reach, responsive, friendly and courteous, and has done what is needed to fix the problem. The job site is left clean.

CD installed two light fixtures and a ceiling fan for me. He actually rescheduled for a week *earlier* than our original appointment, and he did a great job. I'll definitely hire him again.

Electrician arrived precisely at the scheduled time. Outstanding communication while on site explaining what needed to be done and available options. All work completed and is fully operational. The hourly rate is not cheap by any means but considering the service quality, well worth it. Will rely on Enchanted Electric in the future.

I spent almost 3 hours behind their vehicle through the La Bajada construction site. For several miles after the construction slow down it was still traveling at 35 MPH in the fast lane, I guess they put 35 MPH limiters on these vehicles. They also need to give more time for paperwork as this driver was doing paperwork while past the traffic doing 35 MPH in the fast lane. They should also update their wide load permit and get a pilot car for these vans as it had a hard time staying between the lanes resulting in an accident as a emergency vehicle tried to pass on the shoulder. They obviously have no idea that distracted driving has been illegal in NM for 20 years. Being that NM is the deadliest roads for driving fatalities and distracted driving in the nation, they are encouraging illegal driving to increase staff mortality and reduce margins. So if you are looking for an electrical contractor to do illegal work these are your guys. If instead you are looking for a firm with integrity please stay away from hiring these guys.

We recently hired Enchanted Electric for some electrical work at our office, and I must say that the quality of CD's work is impressive. He was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient in completing the task I needed done. The result was certainly satisfactory.

However, I must mention that the cost of their services was quite steep. While I believe in paying for quality work, I was taken aback by the final bill. Just to add a little context, the work was completed on a Saturday. That said, we were billed just under $2,400.00 for less than four hours of work. It would have been more comforting if their pricing was a bit more reasonable and aligned with market standards.

All in all, Enchanted Electric delivers respectable electrical services that are hard to fault in terms of quality. If budget constraints aren't a primary concern, I would recommend CD for his expertise and proficiency. Just be prepared for a higher cost than you might anticipate.

We recently moved to Santa Fe and needed some electrical work done in our home. I researched the electricians in the Santa Fe area and Enchanted Electric had excellent reviews for timeliness, professionalism and quality of work. We gave Brooklyn a call and he quickly scheduled an appointment for us. His work was thorough and detailed and we appreciated his recommendations on lighting and wiring in our kitchen and dining areas. We consider Brooklyn as our electrician for any future electrical needs we might have. Brooklyn is trustworthy, highly knowledgeable and made this home improvement much less stressful for us. Enchanted Electric recently installed a 220v outlet for our electric stove, laid the conduit and ran the wiring for a hot tub a helped troubleshoot a non-functional ceiling fan as well as installed better hardware to mount our new ceiling fan to. The work was very quality, communication was very clear and the work was done expeditiously.

Brooklyn was great, very detailed, respectful and polite. He involved me at every important step as far as function and design, which I really appreciated. He helped me wire up some switches in my house due to some very strange previous work and diagnose some strange light flickering that ended up being multiple sets of bad quality light bulbs.

Called 2 electricians (who never responded) before calling EE (my bad!) CD was responsive, punctual and expertly knowledgeable. I noticed some browning on an outlet recently and immediately called Enchanted Electric in a panic looking for help. It turns out this was quite an emergency and without Brooklyn's fast response we would have likely been looking at an electrical fire. 2023: The garage outlet that serves both a PHEV and a freezer full of food suddenly died. I was frantic. Tried to contact the electrician who had worked on this house when it was built, and he didn't return my messages after two days, even though it was an emergency.

So I went to Yelp. Found Enchanted Electric, and I AM SO IMPRESSED!

Of course the outlet died on a weekend, so Brooklyn explained his emergency rates for weekends. I gulped (But hey... we get what we pay for.)

He sent me the emergency agreement form which I was happy to sign. But then a holiday miracle happened!

Brooklyn called me back to say he might be able to talk me though a fix over the phone. Since the weekend rates were costly, I eagerly agreed. In less than 5 minutes, it was fixed for free.

This guy's customer service skills are top notch. And since I have an all-electric, and solar electric house, Brooklyn and Enchanted Electric will be my electricians going forward.

I don't mind paying top dollar to get it done correctly the first time. And I love professionals who care about their work and their customers.

Enchanted Electrical is terrific! I had many fixtures that lacked electrical boxes and that was expertly repaired. Brooklyn installed a dining room light fixture on a 14 foot ceiling where none existed before. Truly a gifted electrician!

Brooklyn responded rapidly to an emergency request for help. There was a breaker in my home, serving a critical outlet, that was constantly tripping.

Brooklyn's work was thorough, plus he took time to explain each aspect. He fixed some serious issues in my breaker box, and also checked many outlets. He also fixed a questionable outlet.

The original problem has been corrected. I feel highly confident in the work that was done. I also feel that Brooklyn was exceptionally clear in communicating. There were no surprises in the pricing, timing, or scope of the work that was completed.

I was having a very confusing lighting issue in my new home and Brooklyn (CD) was able to come out the very same day to check out my issue. He took extra time and care to suss out the problem that was created by the previous contractor, provide a temporary fix, and give me a path to move forward towards a permanent fix. He is very knowledgeable in his field and took the time to explain all of my wiring problems and how they were caused. He was professional, courteous, and kind the entire time. We had an electrical fixture that was bad and Brooklyn came when he said he would, found the part even though the fixture was 20 years old, and installed it in a jiffy. He was very response via phone and text to let me know how to schedule an appointment and updated me on the parts ordering. Brooklyn was professional, easy to work with, and I very much recommend him. We also had a neighbor who needs an electrical vehicle charger installed and Brooklyn said he does that kind of work too.

Wow! Brooklyn was hired to come all the way up to Taos to take care of a major wiring issue that needed to be redone so our modular unit could pass electrical inspection. It was a very challenging and unusual job, requiring crawling into a crawlspace, and some thinking outside the box. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and really seemed to know his stuff! Good communication and followup as well, which is definitely something lacking in a lot of contractors. Fantastic service in this very difficult market. Arrived on time for our appointment. Installed the new fixture, arranged for dry wall repair and custom repainting for the next day. Completed work in two days. Cleaned, swept, mopped.

Brooklyn addressed the landscape lighting issue as he said he would. Very conscientious master electrician in my opinion. His troubleshooting to fix mistakes of past electricians was exceptional. Landscape lighting up and running. I feel more confident that it is going to work as I want it to work moving forward.

Enchanted Electric returned for a smaller service call to our home. Efficient, timely and clean work. We now have a ceiling fan in our dining area which makes a tremendous difference in the comfort level of our Santa Fe home. It is also installed with the correct fan box. Brklyn delivers. This review is NOT " erroneous" as CRAIG a.k.a. " BROOKLYN" claims it to be- furthetmore, I was billed for CD or Brooklyn or Craig for the same amount of hours as his employee so not only did the hourly rate end up being $255.00 an hour,( he has likely raised his rate in the ladt 3 years) he was not here when he claimed to be.
Calling a genuine review fake is another matter alltogether. See the reciept on Yelp.
I stopped him mid- job and hired a different to avoid allowing myself to be ripped off. It really is a matter of principal and particularly because his pre-emtive legal document/ agreement **quite unusual** makes it clear -red flag- .
Customers dont mind paying for skilled labor but we do not deserve to be billed for time you are not present.
Principal has no expiry.

Update-- Enchanted helped us troubleshoot a power outage in the garage that didn't originate in the fusebox. He instantly diagnosed the problem over the phone and told us what to do to fix it on our own, free of charge. The fix worked instantly. Highly recommend Enchanted for responsive, honest expertise.

Original review-- Needed a large lighting fixture installed, and Brooklyn from Enchanted made it a very smooth experience. The installation was perfect. He also gave us the option of correcting some “shortcuts” that had been made when the house was built. He worked very efficiently and even helped uninstall an old security system in a few minutes, after the main fixture was completed.
We highly recommend Enchanted for quality of work, value, and professionalism.
