Eco-Panels

Eco-Panels' product is truly state of the art. They're making homes safer, panel by panel. I've been to the factory and these guys have an impressive product/operation.

I built my house in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, with Eco-Panels walls. They perform wonderfully, and the construction was quick and economical. I firred the inside by 1-3/4" to allow wiring on the inside of the walls, which I recommend, instead of installing conduit in the panels. The Eco-Panels team is wonderful to work with and the product is solid. Closed-cell poly foam which Eco-Panels uses is better than EPS for SIPS, by the way.

Purchased panels from this company a number of years ago. Wrote a subsequent review but see it has been removed, hence their "too good to be true", 5-star rating.
The entire process for us was an expensive nightmare.
Keep in mind, one is expected to pay in full, before the product is manufactured and shipped.
Sadly, our Eco-Panel thermal performance seems no different than conventional framed and fiberglass insulation walls!
We have some theories about that.
Perhaps management has changed in the last 5-7 years, but cannot recommend doing business with this company, especially if you value integrity and honesty.

Charles and his team are such a wonderful team to work with. Charles has been very accessible, responsive and a joy to work with. Their products are rock-solid.

We were won over by their SIPS on a very hot summer day years ago when me and my wife visited their factory. Charles walked us outside into his SIP built shed in direct summer sun which was many degrees cooler on the inside without any AC. In fact, it felt cooler than his office that had air conditioning on!

It has taken us quite some time to get everything lined up since we had already build a conventional stick build home. However, we knew exactly what we would use to build with the next time. This building technology is certainly very accessible and a great value to homeowners interested in high performance and efficient homes in NC and surrounding States, although I understand that Eco-Panels can ship them anywhere in the world

As a self-build homeowner, Eco-Panels went far beyond their core work of creating the SIPS and getting them delivered on site. They so graciously stepped up and helped me erect them when 2 out of my 3 adult sons who were lined up to help me erect them got sick one on and the other before the day when the SIPS were delivered. The process went on smoothly and completed within about 30 hours from the time when their truck arrived with the SIPs. They did this in a very joyful way with absolutely no drama, at a minimum cost. We had a lot of fun with the Eco-Panels crew and I now feel like my circle of friends got wider! What a blessing they have been to me and my family in this process.

The quality of their SIPS is very self evident. So many guys in the building industry are already gushing about them, as is my family and neighbors. Unfortunately, they were not previously aware of its existence. Eco-Panels is a local gem that is hiding in plain sight. I look forward to completing the house and to move in to enjoy the high performance and efficiencies that other Eco-Panels' customers have reported in the past.

I am writing this review to share my experiences in working with Eco Panels. After looking into a number of SIP companies, I decided to use Eco Panels based on a variety of reasons, including (a) state of the art SIP panels, and (b) unsurpassed support. During my research, Charles was extremely responsive, answering my questions and sharing his wealth of knowledge in building highly efficient homes.

We, unfortunately, had a falling out with our builder, who was the only local construction company that had any experience in building with SIPs. As a result, we decided to cancel our order with Eco Panels and build a conventional house. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous about receiving our sizable down payment money back. In hindsight, there was really no reason to worry. Charles promptly refunded the money with no hassles whatsoever.

I highly recommend Eco Panels as a company. Not only do they sell probably the best SIP panels on the market, but they are honest and trustworthy. Charles is a person of the highest integrity. I would not hesitate to do business with him again.

Before choosing Eco-Panels for our home build project, we investigated 11 other companies that offer SIPs or a similar product. Charles invited us up Mocksville and gave us a tour and showed us how the walls are produced. We were also able to see a project in the assembly stage in their plant. This went a long way in explaining exactly what we'd be investing in and how the Eco-Panel standard exceeds other products.

The metal camlocking system, electrical chases and metal boxes set in the walls are a few of the many things that sets Eco-Panels above its competitors. The walls of our home are solid, level, joined tightly, and were delivered ready for electrical on the exterior walls. This is a huge time saver for your electrician. When building with this method, BE SURE to add ALL electrical needed. Architects do not always reflect outlets for the range hood, stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, etc. on the construction drawings. If these appliances are on an exterior wall, they need to be reflected on the plan.

The team at Eco-Panels is fantastic and so very helpful and easy to work with. We were not able to find installers in our area and Charles was able to help us find a crew the install the walls and our trusses. This was a tremendous blessing and helped us to get dried in during a very rainy season.

At different stages during our build I have had to reach out to Charles to ask a question about how to add something or work around something and he is always supportive and finds an answer for us in a timely fashion. He's a great problem solver.

I will always build with SIPs moving forward and will continue to work with Eco-Panels and their team of experts. We are so grateful for the experience. Our home is almost finished and I will post additional photos once we're completely done.

I built my first home with eco panels and was impressed with the quality and ease. The 2 story home went up in one day. My power bill was much lower than the other homes in the neighborhood. I am so pleased with my decision.
