I needed my roof replaced but wanted to be sure I was getting the best price but also good work. With me being a single mom I had no idea what even went into getting my roof replaced. Justin came and got an estimate on my roof along with a few other roofing companies Justin gave me the best price. Justin also showed me everything that needed to be replaced and why. He explained everything. He made sure everything was in the estimate that needed to be replaced. When deciding to go with Justin and his crew I was very nervous. But as they were working on the roof Justin was very good at answering any questions I had. Questions like “ why are you replacing that?”. When Justin and his crew were done my roof looked fantastic. No more leaks in my roof! That means no more buckets on the floor for my kids to spill over. It feels great! I just want to thank Justin and his crew for being great and getting my roof done in a timely manner.
I hate giving negative reviews but my roof was not properly sealed and the original plaster ceilings in my 100 year old house were ruined. His team did not seal or properly flash around anything--including a skylight which caused my bathroom ceiling to cave in. At the time he only had a 1 year warranty on labor so nothing was covered under his insurance (it took just over a year for it to rain enough to show thru the insulation). He sent someone to reseal the upper level but never came back to fix my skylight and all the repairs to that and the ceiling were at my expense. So disappointed.
I am very impressed with Donaldson Home Exteriors. We recently incurred significant damage from a storm. Justin showed up, offered valuable advice and product recommendations, delivered the estimate in a timely manner, and had the work scheduled and completed within a week.
The crews were courteous and professional. The craftsmanship is outstanding.
I would strongly recommend this contractor.
